Community Insight:
Easy to pick up, controls well, pretty and allows your own music (not that the default isnt fitting.) Its great for a quick play. It just needs instructions on speeding up the sandworm (we feel like a dullard for not getting past 42 on the first stage.).
We bought this after watching your GDC talk on YouTube. Big fan! Ive always been a fan of high score chasers. The gif sharing tool is super cool too.
Ive been a fan of Radiangames since discovering them through the Indie Games channel on the Xbox 360, and just discovered them again on our iPad. Scorcher is terrific- it looks and sounds terrific and its easy to play with an appropriate ramp-up in challenge as you go along. Well done.
We bought this cause its premium and looked fun. We thought about asking for a Switch port but we think this plays better on iPad than it would on Switch, but who knows we just know we enjoy this game.
From an outstanding game developer. Features slick controls, cool visuals, and compelling gameplay.
Needs more audio work. Needs ship sound effect and worm sound effect.
Why make the second level so frustratingly difficult? Shouldnt the average player be able to finish a second level in under 30 tries? Could be fun but giving up after finishing only the first canyon. Wish we could have our $3 back.
The game seems ok. But the UI color palette is too pale and has no contrast in relation to its background. Therefore its very hard to see and read any text. Id like to play the game, but not to be blinded by its scorchness. LOL Some additional settings to control the text color would be welcome.
In a world where the free-to-play model has all but ruined mobile gaming, anyone complaining about the $3 charge for this content is (in our opinion & with all due respect) a moron. Cool game, guys.
We like infinite runners, and its been a while since something good, yet challenging has come along. We were hit by surprise with this game. At first glance, it seemed it was going to be too hard. Its fast and frantic, and crashing happens a lot early on. But, after some tinkering with options and just grinding a bit, we got a feel for the game and its an absolute joy to play. The game is already worth the price of admission. The touch controls are flawless and the graphics are top notch. It is pretty, very pretty. The ease of doing it one more time, also just keeps us coming back for more. Im really looking forward to seeing what comes with future updates.
This game has a zen-like flow in all of the crazy fast canyon racing going on. We got into ao much we guess we busted out the top leaderboard spot on the 1st track. Excellent game devs.
This app is great and amazing it is fast and quik.
Very nice graphics, but not a ton of depth and we got bored after an hour. Id rate it higher if it was cheaper, but 2.99 is way too much.
Its a beautiful game, but it lacks depth. The unlocks are super limited. Not a lot of replay value considering the price. Developer seems to be updating frequently, so Im hoping to see more content in a future update.
Another great release from Radiangames. Ultra smooth mechanics and distinctive art set it apart from competitors. A worthy challenge.
