Community Insight:

We love these games! We got all the way through it without any glitches which made the game unplayable like secret files 2 where we first meet Sam. But you dont need to do the previous game to make sense of this one. Have fun.

Another great Secret Files game. Main character is very funny. If you liked the first 3 this one is a natural.

Superb graphics, interesting story and puzzles. IPhone 7 the small windows thrust sometimes open in the corner doesnt work and just shower as black screen. Not enough characters and dialogs. Most is the lead talking to herself.

Graphics good. Game ok so far thru intro. Are we supposed to hate the main character? Shes really an awful person.

Like the character and don't mind the language though there were a couple of spots it seemed overdone. Interesting story concept though not particularly realistic (we work in that field)–but liked it a lot. Very good graphics and character movement, mostly, but has the same issues noted with Tunguska–has to walk a very specific path to look at or examine certain objects, even if already right next to it–and movement very natural at times but not so much other times. We think we prefer the way the inventory was set up for Tunguska–a row at bottom of page rather than having to open the suitcase and covers the screen but that is minor and personal preference. Biggest issue is the short story. Not even half the content of Tunguska (though we guess that is why it costs so much less) and very few other characters–even the couple of other characters have very limited "screen time." Another minor issue was found it very difficul to successfully click on some the magnifying glasses that denoted items to examine. Sometimes there would be no response and other times you'd highlight Sam (because she was standing there) but you couldn't get the item. Found the puzzles to be less obtuse than Tunguska (maybe just because were fewer of them) but still a couple where the solution seemed kind of random. From what we've seen of these devs, we like their offerings and would recommend their apps but this one less enthusiastically because of how short it is and the lack of characters other than Sam Peters.

Enjoyed the adventure but the bad language really was unnecessary. We wanted to share it with family members but could not. Please remove the bad language, it doesnt enhance the game.

Just when you think its about to get started, it ends. Not worth buying.

We like the game, but every time we try to go to the mission she goes back to the camp. Ive tried multiple times.

This game lost us at the intro….the writing is terrible, ridiculous and dated. We really wish we hadnt given this company money.

We arrived to the end! We love this game so much! You have to try it.

This was a fun and engaging game. It's not an over the top action/thriller but it did keep us interested & engaged throughout. The puzzles aren't difficult but we don't think any of the puzzles in the more mainstream developers are mindbenders either. There were no glitches whatsoever & we had no issues with the game controls once we understood them (ei: moving characters around, picking up items). What we really liked was the main character-it's nice to see a woman character who is tough, who doesn't mind sprinkling in a little profanity to make her point & who can take care of herself in any situation. She can take on the case, solve a mystery, yet still be a woman at the end of the day. Games need more characters like that. What we LOVED tho was the ending where there was a moral discussion about indigenous peoples struggle to ward off outside aggressors while trying to maintain their own culture. We certainly didn't expect to see THAT in a game like this-it added depth & provided some food for thought in what would normally be considered a kiddie game.

We were excited about this game until it started to make fun of christianity, churches, priests, it is shameful, just think about all the customers you are loosing because you want to portray christianity as evil. Shame.

Idea and game is good. Puzzles make you think outside the box. Sometimes too much so. If you get the sequence of adding items together wrong theres no going back and taking it apart to try again, you need to restart to your last save location. Annoying. Hard to use inventory items. Hard to see items to click. Weird combinations of items are the solutions. A lot of times we try the right item and it doesnt work. Currently stuck at the hog. Cant get passed him even with using the game hint/cheat. Think its a glitch. Sigh.

You can't use the objects you've collected so you can't complete tasks or puzzles. We've deleted this game.

Liked the game, and don't know if there is a glitch or something, but once in Africa, went into the jungle, got rid of the hog, but AFTER COUNTLESS NUMBER OF TRIES, we have gone back t look for a STICK that is supposed to be somewhere around that area, AND THERE IS NO STICK. We cannot go any farther than the bridge because we cant reach the bag and am unable to repair the bridge. Please tell us what to do about this or if we've overlooked the stick somehow so that we may proceed. Thank you.

Animation Arts released this game under a different publisher several years ago and it was a broken game and was never fixed. Shortly thereafter, it was pulled from the app store. Now they have re-released the game under a different publisher and expect anyone that purchased and could not play the original game to re-purchase this game. Please don't support a developer that does not stand behind their products.

We are having a hard time placing items where they go. Very difficult and we only just started it. Update: we had to delete game because it froze while doing a save. A waste of money.

The dialogue is misogynistic. The puzzles are boring. The art looks like a CD-ROM. Deleted.
