Community Insight:

Fun and simple enough game. Would love to see more survival games like this. Great job.

We really enjoyed this game right from the beginning. We have read and always enjoyed the Robinson Crusoe story and this is the first game we have played where you are stranded on an deserted island. It is easy to play and each sequence is short enough to keep you progressing. Although we got a little carried away on building out the waterpipes, fields and treehouses on our island. We recommend this game for its fun and for those who ever dreamed of living on a deserted island.

With the recent explosion of survival games, it's nice to see Mr Scholl bringing back this classic title to show the youngsters how it's done. What's more, the controls and interface have been beautifully modernized, so there's none of the clunkiness you might find in other ports. With gameplay similar to a less sadistic Don't Starve, it's enjoyable even for people like ourselves, who had never heard of the original. The best survival game we've found on iOS.

We used to play this game on the computer as a kid and have tried every survival game we could find since…but this by far the best. It's simple, addicting, and has very high replay value. Our only wish is that they would expand the maps to include other islands to explore. Thanks for bringing this awesome game to iPad.

Game is well done overall. Good graphics, sound (but would REALLY like to be able to turn off just the tap sound), gameplay. But it's SO hard to find what you need before dying. Deleted the game because it's just not fun dying over and over trying to find what we need.

Too retro? Too simplistic. Not very realistic. 3 leaves and a branch to make a tent? Pass. Should have used our dollar to buy some gum.

Shipwreck is the sort of simplistic puzzler that bends the mind as you explore to find your way off this hellish island! From berry picking to exploring the sea, Shipwreck is pure fun for a gamer looking to kill a few hours while being lost at sea for weeks at the same time.

Not too long, and very enjoyable.

It's a good game, it's strait forward, easy to learn, and fun. It's just that there is little to do and a bit too easy to win. Definitely would rate 5 stars if more content was added.
