The ability of AI changes so much to the level we choose.

Theres no English language mode.. Wth.

An English option would be fabulous and it would propel this app into an unknown great amount of popularity.

We dont know Japanese, we feel like Im being left out of a game that we have interest in trying but we cant because we dont understand the language or the pieces names which impair our ability to do much.

We like shogi and this game lets us challenge the A.I. On different levels of difficulty. Only complaint we have is this game needs to support 2 player games and have English/Spanish support.

Great game, great app… You can sort of figure it out without knowing Japanese, but English would be helpful.

We know his is a Japanese game but switching to other languages would be very helpful for many people. We tried to play and learn without English and it seemed pretty fun.

It said when we downloaded the game we could translate it to English but we cant find out how too in the game could you please make it easier wot people who speak English to find how to switch it.

Downloaded it because it looked really nice. Could not find how to turn an English translation if one was available. So we deleted it because we wasnt going to try and find it. Will use it if developer updates it.

We downloaded this with the promise of being able to switch the language to English. So far, we have only found one English word in the entire game: "Twitter". If there is an option to make all of the language English, we would suggest making it easier to find or even giving the option of downloading the English version. Right now we’re going by trial and error, having no idea what we’re doing or messing up. All of that being said, we’ve enjoyed this game so far. It beats us every time because we have no idea what anything does, but we’re slowly figuring it out. It’s enjoyable, but we wish we could get this in English. We suppose we will just have to draw on some connections who can read/speak Japanese.

No bugging ad, and you have the undo function that cost nothing!

We hadn’t played Shogi for a long time, we were trying to remember how to play in the beginning. Shogi is so much fun and this app helps us to learn how to play.

It does need English translation, but we use our instincts, so we tap the top button, then tap the right button. That is how to play against a LV1 opponent.

We love this game. Particularly the ability to use captured pieces against your opponent. You can somewhat figure out the menus, but an English menu would be much appreciated.

Unless you are a speaker of Japanese, you will have to navigate this by trial and error. When you tap on a piece the game shows you what moves it can make, so that is a plus. Remember that in shogi captured pieces change sides and can parachute anywhere on the game board at any time, so don’t be too complacent.

Would give it five stars if it was in English. If there already is an English option, please show how to put it into it.

Please make it in other languages including English. We want to play this but can’t read Chinese.

App looks solid though. Hope to see future updates! Suggestion: the addition of some alternate, designating symbols on the playing pieces would make them easier to differentiate (and to understand their functionality) for an American audience. It also might get American customers swarming to try / buy the app!

Looks nice and all, but as someone who can’t read Japanese it’s a little inconvenient, it needs an English option for the rest of us.

We can play but can’t read….. Not a very good combination. Please have in English!!!
