Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

1-K same as poker. Only PvE two players. There's no such pictrue as the sample pic shows. During vs. Bot. Every single move bot made cheating. Even players only know 2 cards at begining bot never made a wrong as it knows every hidden cards and can made Maximum Profit. After updated. Everytime you got the 8: shuffle opponents hand , the next card can only be 7: watch all of your card. Made your every trouble deal nothing. Or you can control a 4 to send 12 to opponent's hand every turn. So bot will get a plenty of hand so bot must have a big number! But no, even have a full hands of cards bot will only draw 0-2 cards so even failed bot still won't have much point. Full of CHEATING.

We love this game so much we play it with our coworkers we just cant get our Simon to work ever and we were to get the collectors edition so we are sad.

We love Silver! We own all the physical games and our friend group enjoys to play. We wish this same excitement carried over to this app. Some of the challengers are nearly impossible as the AI works against you. Playing against the AI one on one, you dont have the opportunity to try to achieve the challenges. So where do we go from there? The game constantly freezes and we have to close out. It happens mostly when we have something good going. So after closing, none of what we have done counts towards achievements. We think the app could be great with some AI updates (example: why are all three AI giving us a Gremlin on our final turn when the AI who called has one card and it is a face up 0? Or how did the AI know they had a 13 plus two 6s when we only viewed two cards and its still the first hand?).

We absolutely LOVE Silver. We have all the expansions except the newly released Fang. Two complaints. One- the end scoring goes by so fast! Almost impossible to see what all is going on. Other one is when you call, you cant receive negative points! So if we called and received -16, we would get +16 added to our score to get 0! Still love the concept of the game! We own all the physical copies! :).

We dont like the new update. The game just isnt as fun. At least we have the actual card game.

Took 1 star off because the game is totally biased in single player mode you are playing against 3 AI players who work together. The deck distribution is biased towards the AI, its delightfully frustrating and makes you change your gameplay to accommodate the cheating. Am unsure whether we will buy the other decks, why spend money to be constantly cheated? Thats how stupid humans are, as evidenced by the current cabal of clowns running this country and their delightfully dumb sycophants.

We adore this game. And this app is fantastic. Its really nice to be able to play this no matter where we are. Our only complaint is this: At the end of the round, we wish it was more clear on who won. It goes by quickly and we cant always tell what happened. We wish it displayed the point values everyone received. Maybe with a continue button before the cards are dealt next.

The AI goes way too fast to keep up with whats happening, and one both drew a card and used their amulet in the same turn. Really just frustrating overall, especially with no difficulty settings.

One of our favorite games that our family WILL NOT play against us because of the app. And that was before it got SO much better with the update that changed Id up. And now offering Coin gives us a new challenge in the game. Guess we will have to play a game of Dagger with the fam before that deck releases.

Bots are now much stronger but unfortunately it now cheats. The first time we were mirroring its reveals and it discarded two cards that did not match our mirror in its first move. Thought maybe we were off by one. Second time we used the witch to give it a new card which it immediately pair traded down. We didnt have a 4 so no way it could have known the deck. Prefer a less competitive bot that doesnt cheat. :(.

Im frankly baffled by the wave of negative reviews to this rejuvenated Silver app, particularly those that claim the old version was less buggy or had better functionality. As a huge Silver fan, we were excited when the Silver app originally released a few years back. However, we were quickly turned off by its fatal limitations. Play was stifled from the start, since there was no option to play with friends, with only the option to duel a single AI opponent. Additionally, the UI was clunky and very buggy, often causing you to make unintentional errors, such as discarding a card instead of using its power. Though we really wanted to enjoy this digital version of one of our favorite card games, after a few frustrating attempts we stopped playing, as it offered no compelling advantages over just playing in-person. This latest adaptation, however, effortlessly translates all the charm of the physical version of Silver to the screen. First of all, it allows for a varied style of play. You can choose to play with friends, random players online, or by yourself, and you can mix in any number of automated opponents for games of 2-4 players. The app also allows you to save the custom decks youve created by mixing cards between different sets, so you can always refer back to your favorites. However, most noticeably of all, the UI is much more intuitive, polished, and FUNCTIONAL than the originals. The game clearly indicates what your options are on any given turn for any given action, and we have yet to run into a situation where our input was misinterpreted, which was a common occurrence in the old app. While we have a few minor nitpicks, like there being too little time for viewing cards during the Insomniac action and the arrows for the Goth Girl power being a little cumbersome, this new Silver app is an undisputed improvement over the old one in basically every respect, and like its physical counterpart, made us want to keep playing again and again. So if you, like us, were left disenchanted by the original Silver app, dont let the recent negative reviews give you the wrong impression. These peoples criticisms are either addressed by playing for five minutes (YES you can play solo, YES you can toggle card reminders), or they are so stubbornly nostalgic for the previous version that they have deluded themselves into viewing the old clunky interface as a POSITIVE, and refuse to give the new one a chance. While the Silver Bullet deck expansion costs $2, it is well worth the price for those looking for an authentic digital variant of this classic card game, and the old app still exists (as Silver Lite) for anyone unwilling to cough up the two bucks. There are many other minor features and improvements we havent even mentioned, such as a refurbished Stats page and AI speed adjustment settings, so if youre on the fence about trying it, take it from a Silver app skeptic turned convert: this time its the real deal.

They pushed a major update recently to make the app look more flashy, but functionally has taken a huge step down. We used to play this pretty regularly, but uninstalled after trying to play a few games after the update.

Hi, The new update took away the bullet game option. Please update it. Good to see updates for this game but should remove functionality which was previously working. Tnx.

Unfortunately this is no longer as good of a game. After the upgrade we are unable to play a solo game. Also, we do not like how the numbers are on the cards that you have seen. Part of the fun of the game is having to keep track of what your face down cards are by memory.

This game is very fun and similar to the original Silver card game. The AI is very competitive and sometimes makes interesting, unpredictable choices. It would be even more challenging if there were settings for difficulty levels ranging from easy to hard and extreme. We would love it if they added in the other packs version of Silver games and options to create even more difficult scenarios decks, making the game extremely challenging and always fun to play with friends as an option for experience . We think this game has so much potential. We love it and really want to see more from this game company, including further expansions and improvements to this digital version.

We own the physical copy at home and love playing this with friends. There are some minor glitches with some of the abilities, but not deal breaking. The one thing we wish it could do is play either online or locally with friends. That would take this game from 5 stars to 10 stars.

A great introction to the family of Silver games and a nice quick solo game vs. The AI.

It is a strong mental thinking game with lots of stradiges.

We really enjoy this game! See toy planning on releasing the other expansions? Id pay for them.

When will u add dagger and coin to the game.

Please add silver coin and dagger in this game… We love silvers.

We love all of the Silver games and this app was pretty close once we got the hang of it. It frustrates us when sometimes we cant unselect a card or if the move we were trying to do is unsuccessful it completely skips our turn instead of letting us try again. We really like that we can switch around the cards from different decks and hope that all the decks eventually get added. Would also love a player vs. Player mode instead of always having to play against the A.we.

Loved the physical game so we downloaded the app. The only option for play is 1 v 1 with AI. Local gameplay with a group would take this app to the next level.

The game is so intersting, the app is for two people although the game was designed for 2 to 4 people,we hope new update raise to 4 people and also palying online.

We love this game. We had the physical copy first and the app does well to duplicate play. Knocked a star because the app does glitch from time to time and we have to abandon our game progress.

Just like the silver series card game. Be better with an update to add a online play plus add the next two sets. Would not mind putting five stars if added or even pay for the dlc.

This game is our go to game right now. We would give it 5 stars but the app is buggy and we get shot out of games occasionally. That said, the game has 2 different Silver decks to choose from, Silver Core deck and Silver Bullet, AND you can customize the deck you play with between the two. So cool! We want multiplayer now though as playing against the AI we can predict the choices it will make. With that, we share the app with others so that when we can gather again we can okay with the real cards…here is to hoping they add in all the other decks.

We like the game but it is very easy to mistap on a card and lose its action. There is no way to take the action back. Also, we wish there were more than 1 AI.

The game is fun, however, the UI is terrible. We have thrown away so many cards when what we wanted to do was an exchange. Implement an undo or what is the point of confirming your turn. The amulet/bullet UI element is also confusing, when can we actually use it? The pop up actions that are added for certain cards have no explanation and block the text that would help comprehend them. Again, the game is fun but this version is just frustrating to play.

Was introduced to this game yesterday and saw there was an app! Downloaded to get better but there are various bugs in the game play 1) can only use the amulet sometimes. Even though we won it last round, the graphic at the bottom doesnt light up, making it unplayable 2) order of taps often unclear, causing us to do the wrong thing with a card, which can lose the game 3) game randomly breaks, especially after #2s seer function is used. Cant do anything after using it and will have to restart the game. Happened to us round 3 once and we were so annoyed/sad. (closing and reopening the game doesnt help either).

This is an amazing game, but the app has a few bugs that are annoying. We have had to completely restart the game a number of times because it completely locks up.

We are enjoying learning the game and the game itself is solid. The card actions play depending on how you tap the card and there has been numerous times when trying to figure out what a card does, it will accidentally play. We would suggest an undo option that can be used before card action is completed. For instance when we go to exchange a card we accidentally hit play but now we cant get the card.

We love the game and that its just that, no events or gimmicks or ads. We can just enjoy playing, but the controls are tricky. We often do something accidentally which is frustrating. Its also very buggy causing us to start a new game when we cannot select a card, or images freeze on top of each other. This happens frequently. Despite that though we keep playing bc its just that enjoyable to not have all of that extra stuff other apps have. The graphics are really well done too. The cards look really good.

Gameplay is good. App has a habit of freezing. Also it is too easy to discard a card when you want to exchange it if you tap once too much. It would be far better if a drawn card had a pop-up menu so the player could definitively choose discard or exchange. Additionally, the app is sorta low res with old school buttons and backgrounds. If it didnt freeze, Id give it four stars.

Like what most other reviews have said, the controls are unintuitive and buggy. Lots of symbols and a lack of consistent UX across the app. If you can power through the inconsistencies, there is a great game here. Worth playing since its free.

Enjoyed the game. Controls take a little while to get used to. Our biggest complaint is the game locks up frequently requiring you to start a new game. In addition, in silver bullet, there have been many rounds where Ive won the bullet but no matter what we do, Im unable to select a card and place it. Fun game, but still bugs that need fixing.

Great game with an awesome twist on a classic card game (golf). But the glitches kill the experience. The game will freeze or glitch out and even closing the app and reopening it doesnt work, you have to end your game and start over. There also isnt a way to control the AI difficulty, so its very difficult to win games. If they could fix these things, Id give it 5 stars.

We found out about the app through the Kickstarter. Unfortunately the game freezes VERY often and makes it impossible to continue playing. Im forced to restart into a new game. As the other person pointed out, it happens the most when using the Seer in Bullet. Next, the AI makes some VERY odd choices. Mostly after we call for a vote. The AI will almost always discard the card it draws on its last turn, even if the card is a 0 or a number lower than a card they already have (like theyll discard a 2 even though they have a face up 7 in their village). We would love if there was an Elo system, where the AI gets smarter the better you are. As a veteran player, the AI shows no challenge and unless we get unlucky we win every game.

This game could be a paid game if they fix those confusing bug that stop people playing in the middle of the game but the last update is 1year ago so not much hope.

We interface is actually pretty good, but the lockups are really frustrating. In round 3, we take our turn and it never gives the green check Mark. We can click cards, etc and cant perform any actions. Kill app and resume game and it is in the exact spot it was and no way to move forward. Also the AI cheats. Multiple time after shuffling their cards, they immediately swap a pair of cards out. How would the ai know what the card were? We interface is actually pretty good, but the lockups are really frustrating. ***Also would be great if the scoring at the end let you see the computed scores with the cards instead of jumping straight to the scorecard without a chance to review. It would be easier to learn the game.

We love this game, play it with friends all the time and the app helps us stay fresh. But, playing it a lot today, we noticed that 75-90% of the time the game locks up after we flip a 2 over in Silver Amulet. Especially when the AI is forcing a vote. We go to check a card, flip it back over, then we cant do anything other than zoom in on each upward facing card to see what its rule is. The only way to fix this is to start a brand new game. Very frustrating. Definitely needs to get fixed.

This game was hard to understand after playing a few minutes we were lost so we just gave up because it didnt go anywhere we like games that take a little time to learn and easy to play how would not recommend this game.

Its impossible so play this thing because of the bugs. The taps wont do what they were supposed to, so you end up playing with random actions. Just no.

We bet this game is super fun in a traditional card game style. However, the app is the worst!! The directions on how to play are vague and confusing, even so we figured we would get the hang of it after playing a few rounds, but nope! The AI has all of these extra moves it can use against you, but essentially all you can do is draw or discard, so it is frustrating and boring play. Supposedly the cards have additional features if you tap on it, but all it does when we tap on it is discard it or it does nothing. You don't get to choose where a card goes when it is added to your hand so it gets confusing knowing which ones you have turned over already. Like other reviews said the touch feature is terrible because you try to do one action and it does the opposite ( like trying to exchange or pick up a card and it discards it). The icons are super small and we finally figured out that if you hold down long enough it tells you what the card is, but then it makes no difference because you can never actually use the feature of the card. If you want to be stressed out and angry with a game then download this one. We had hoped the developers fixed the issues from previous reviews, which is why we gave it a try, but nothing seems to have been improved in the 1+ yrs of reviews. Dont bother.

Only allows us to exchange cards, and occasionally allows us to perform the view action. On multiple occasions we should have been able to play a face up cards ability, but the only action Im allowed to play was exchange from the draw pile. Really frustrating and will be deleting. Also, we learned how to play this game from the actual card game, so its not anything Im doing wrong, or lack of understanding the rules.

The Mere fact that if you click on the wrong function you get screwed. They gave us we will always beat you which makes this game no fun. So the fact that the game doesnt even offer multiplayer so you cant even play your friends in this makes this an awful iOS board game.

Great if you own the actual game for getting some of the mechanics as the rule book isnt written the best. That said has wonky glitches. That randomly show up not allowing your turn or action to work correctly. Lastly the AI is totally hacks. It will not let you win and had the lowest cards as much as possible. Played a set where it always had a zero card and one round had both 0 cards. Bottom line. Good for seeing how rules are implemented. Otherwise not worth the click and download effort.

Got the iOS game after have fun playing the board game. Figured it would help us build our skills as well as help pass some time. It plays just like the board game with just the AI. The glitches seem to only happen when you switch to other apps while a game is in progress and typically means you have to quite the game and lose your round. The biggest issue is the game cheats. We started noticing the odds of a 12 or 11 coming up right after we called the game didnt seem statistically possible. Since then, Ive witnessed cards changing. On multiple occasions Ive had multiple 4 cards showing and could see then next 2-3 cards. Then, after calling the game, the next card becomes something different (like a 12) allowing the AI to use that cards ability. Its one thing to think you lost because the game cheated, its totally different when you know you lost because the game cheated. Update: Thanks for responding but Im not 5. We can handle a bad game and be just fine. We have video from when we had multiple fours up and could see 3 cards into the deck and the 12 wasnt there before it was the AIs turn. It seems you dont know your game very well. Id suggest you play it for a bit and Im sure you will see what Im saying. It happens on both our iPhone and iPad.

Its a fun game but extremely buggy. The bugs are game breaking. Maybe fix the bugs before you start adding features.

Not fun because the text of the cards is too small (even with it set to large) and the how to does not make sense. The combination of these two things made it not possible for us to really figure out what is going on, even after eight rounds.
