Community Insight:
We dont usually review games, but this deserves a good one. If you grew up playing DWM on gameboy color youre going to enjoy passing the time playing this game. Theres a good amount of strategy in the battles and creature advancements making it an interesting yet casual game play. Great job to the developer of this game for making the 3rd edition and you can definitely tell they know how to make a solid RPG turn based battle game. Its worth the small amount of cash and the developer should get the support and funds needed to continue making great games. Thanks for reading.
If you like rpgs with tons of customization and light on story, this is for you.
Ive had the game since siriliam 1 and its been better everytime. We love the newer game but we wish we had a option to skip the low level battles with our monsters. Id like to catch more monsters without needing to go to the higher levels with our fresh new party Im trying to level. Unless Im dumb we wasnt able to find it in options. Thats really our only critic.
This game is addictive really, really addictive. IOS 13 doesnt come without its bugs though. After a small while the music stopped working and after that, the sound stopped working. We hadnt adjusted the volume or silencer, we didnt plug in headphones or anything. They just stopped. We actually quit after 10 hours a while back because we wasnt progressing. At 10 hours again, Im further than we ever was. A small search for tips goes a long way. And holy cow, are there a ton of options too! As you unlock more stuff, youre basically unlocking more ways to tweak your stats. Im not going to whip out our excel sheet and min-max the hell out of our team but its fun to explore. Its fun to explore breeding too, when that gets unlocked. And its also made easy how you breed and what you will make from your parents. We thought the graphics were meh but theyve grown on us too.
Much needed QOL improvements from the first game. Dialogue a little off, but still as kooky as the original. Didnt play 2, but seeing how many of the upgrades and systems have been streamlined, we are happy. Playing for a few days but really gotta get a good team together cause Im getting thrashed in the Tavern. Chaos Rules! All Hail Pandemonium.
Seen the game has been updated 1 year ago on iPhone 12 Pro game opens then has error message Fatal error 1 and immediately crashes.
There is so much to do even after completing the main objective. Collecting, strategizing, pvp, drafting challenges, boss challenges, and so on. Building and equipping a team is as strategically deep as building a magic deck. Then you can create a macro in game to program the team to follow a set of rules in battle unless you specify otherwise. It keeps the game from getting burdened down by the grind in end game. We have played for several months and will be playing for many more. Highly recommended.
Very fun. Lots of strategy between mages, builds, mons. Not too far in, multiple characters at floor 12, but from looking over the character builds and the monsters Ive seen Im a bit overwhelmed on total builds. Full on attack, super spell power, crowd control, simple chaos, mix of everything, seems pretty limitless on how you can play and we feel that we still havent scratched the surface since Ive only seen one death mon. Maybe a few things could be clearer in text, like when it says it increases our damage by 50%, is that only melee or does that count spells too. Also in the nature tree, there is skill that says it increases stat max by 3% we think and we have no idea what that is doing. We just it one point in and didnt see anything lol. Oh and build saves, maybe attach a name or the class its attached too. We dont know, we just forget things, Im getting older lol. Overall, fantastic game. Keep doing what you do.
We have purchased this game on all platforms and it does not disappoint. Endless replay-ability.
This is truly an awesome game. Its a rouge-like version of Pokmon. The game play is deep and tactful. You can play for hours or just a min or two and be entertained. Our only gripe and the reason for giving 4 and not 5 stars is about the controls… Think of a D pad with A and B buttons overlaid on the screen. Its clumsy and tedious which is never a good combo. This game would benefit dramatically from touch screen tap and go control. Please make this happen.
We support this dev 100%. Originally Purchased on Steam but now available for mobile with cloud storage to be able to import your save file. Genius! This really is a quality game the Dev continues to update in put work into it. Highly recommended If you like monster catching RPGs with the dungeon crawler feel and no level cap.
Siralim fan from the first game, but we only played on Ps4 because of the virtual gamepad hurting our hands on ios. The virtual gamepad has been improved greatly with an analog stick, and we mention that because we are a great fan of this series, because we dont care because we have a gamepad! And this is the ultimate peanut butter and jelly game, D&D and monster summoning, from a frankly workaholic developer who keeps adding free content and improvements for like a year or two after each game. Not small improvements, but expansion features. Love the game, and we follow the developer.
Reminds us of dragon warrior monsters on GBC back in the day, but with all the customization and thick content of modern RPGs. Runs very smooth and speed feels just right. Only complaint is the control interface. Needs a transparency slider or some other easier way to play with buttons hidden.
Spent hundreds of hours in the first two games. 10 hours in to this one and it's just as addicting as the first two. Dev is awesome and super responsive. Please keep making siralim games.
Monster hunting JRPG. Play for 5 minutes or 5 hours… No session too short to get something done… Or too long to run out of things to do. The amount of content is immense and you can literally play infinitely with and endless post game.
Dislike the button switch and the new analog is pretty bad. Can we get an option to use the old controls? We'll give it another go if these options are fixed. Right now we found it pretty frustrating to play and went back to 2. EDIT:Responsive devs rule. Thank you for the d pad fix.
A labor of love by an active developer. *** gamepad issue can be remedied adjust the locations of buttons and controller in the options menu Also, if the developer could add a couple of presets.. That might be helpful.
Gave it a 5 star but now since Ive had problems with the siralim reddit cause how fake it is and all they wanna see is positive things about the game and its full of kids that kiss the devs butt so Im giving it a one star. Shout out to naturemage and advicecoyote we think were their names and if Im wrong or a bit off Im sorry but these were the 2 people that actually would help even if the topic was about something being boring they would take time out of their day to try to help us find ways to work around them which was awesome. So to the dev you owe them a lot cause they actually act more professional than you just saying.
The interface. We dont like the virtual analog stick or the A and B buttons. Would also like the options in the menus to be able to be picked by using the touch screen instead of scrolling.
