If you’re looking to compare Siralim Ultimate to other games, you might think of it as Pokemon meets Diablo, or more accurately, Dragon Warrior Monsters meets Path of Exile.

Updated on 28th July 2022

  • 8 specializations have been added to the game: Toxicologist, Engineer, Shadowbringer, Demonologist, Mime, Graveborn, Gladiator, and Brewmaster. You can unlock them via new projects.

  • 2 Challenge Specializations have been added to the game: Pariah and Deprived. Instead of providing you with bonuses, these specializations make you significantly weaker. However, if you’re able to Ascend them, you’ll earn a special reward. These specializations’ projects are only available after you unlock the Gate of the Gods.

  • Additional content related to the new specializations has been added: 120 achievements, 30 costumes, 10 skins, new anointments, and more.

  • 10 spells have been added to the game. These were added to extend support for under-utilized debuffs such as Poison and Cursed.

  • 11 minions have been added to the game. Many of these work much differently than normal minions (and most are exclusive to the new Demonologist specialization), so check out the Codex for more information.

  • Each week, a new buff will activate that either increases your Card Drop Rate, Skin Drop Rate, Nether Stone Drop Rate, or Bonus Loot. You can see which buff is active by interacting with the new Calendar decoration in your castle (found in the Utilities/NPC category).

  • You can now choose to consume 1, 2, or 3 tickets at the Gambling Dwarves. This multiplies your rewards by the number of tickets spent and also counts as playing that many times for the sake of Prophecies and Achievements.

  • The following new macro conditions have been added to the Macro Editor: Resurrection Count, Death Count, Is Not At Top of Timeline, Is Not At Bottom of Timeline, Has Trait, and Doesn’t Have Trait. Note for those last two: prior to this patch, many traits were not recorded in your Codex (False Gods, God Battles, etc), so you’ll need to encounter these traits in battles before seeing them appear on the list.

  • You can sort Nether Stones by Locked and Unlocked in all interfaces.

  • You can now rename your Nether Stones at the Blacksmith using the new "Etch" function.

  • Most Arsenal and Booze spells have been changed/buffed to be more useful.

  • Most Exotic creatures’ traits and backer traits are now more powerful.

  • The Lister and Jotun fights no longer use battle fatigue as their metric for victory and are instead based on the number of turns creatures have taken in battle (24 total turns for Lister, 36 total turns for Jotun). The intent of this change is to shorten these fights under normal circumstances, make them a bit more predictable, and prevent players from feeling like they need to fish for certain realm properties to defeat Jotun in a reasonable amount of time.

  • None of the False Gods are immune to Blighted anymore, and False God self-healing from their innate traits no longer counts as healing effects.

  • Cabalist’s "Flow of Magic" perk has been revamped because it was simply an inferior version of this specialization’s "Prism" perk.

  • Enemies can no longer spawn with the "Saving Grace" spell. Note that they can still acquire this spell in battle through other effects.

  • Numbers greater than or equal to 1 quadrillion are now expressed using scientific notation. This means that all numbers can now be displayed, so the game won’t default to "?!?!" if you reach too high of a number.

  • Massive optimizations to make the game run smoother, especially in battles that drag on for a long time.

  • Tons of bug fixes.

Siralim Ultimate Reviews

Just got our new Backbone controller for iPhone, just to play Siralim! Backbone is under the impression that Siralim does not support controllers, but it obviously does. Yall should work with Backbone to get that updated so we can add Siralim to our Backbone library. Either way, Siralim is a great game!

The game is brilliant, but its not compatible with the Backbone app. We think this is because the listing is not marked as Gamepad Compatible, and thats what the Backbone App uses to know which games it can launch. Hopefully the dev reads his reviews so he can correct this on all his Siralim listings that saybut only in textsupports gamepads! Theres apparently metadata that needs to be explicitly marked to indicate the support, and it does matter to the functionality of Backbone.

A Must by for any Pokmon, diablo, excel fan.

Let us preface this review by stating one fact: Siralim is not a simple game. It is a symphony of many dozens of interconnecting systems, melded together in a glorious chorus that harmonizes into an utterly sublime experience. The ability for an individual to express themselves through the building of their character is unparalleled on mobile devices. This is a game as complex as Path of Exile, as deliberate as Divinity: Original Sin 2, and as fun we all had when we played Final Fantasy 6 for the first time. This game offers something that very few others can: hundreds of hours of engaging content and an unsurpassed potential for build customization. The only caveat? For a game as involved as this one is, there isnt a wiki. Youre going to have to experiment and theory-craft on your own. To some, that is anathema. To others like us, it is a dream come true. Youve read our ramblings. You know in your heart of hearts whether or not this game is for you. If it is, buy it and never look back.

REVIEW Siralim is so fantastic for many reasons, which we will detail later as room permits, but we don’t want to lure you with the negative headline only to bury it within a wall of text. For that reason, Ill start with the negatives- 1. The touch controls need a lot of work. To be fair, there are very few touch control games that we can tolerate. Grindstone and Marvel Snap(!) are easy since they’re controlled with taps and one hand. But we even found Diablo Immortal easy to control, much to our surprise. But not Siralim. The control stick does not float, so you have to hit the right area on impact, which is difficult when we can’t feel a physical button. This is worsened by having movement on a grid. There are good customization options for the controls, like making them light or dark mode, and moving them around individually (I tried many different positions for the movement stick, even having all controls on one side), except that all controls are increased or decreased in size together, instead of individually. If we want the character to move to the left, but tapping on the screen makes it go in a different direction 85% of the time, it is just unplayable to us. 2. It needs automatic cloud backups, especially if Im going to spend hundreds of hours playing. They do have a cloud save system where we can enter a number and upload our save to that number, but we have to remember that number (easy), MANUALLY ENTER IT every time we want to upload our save (major pain), and it isnt backed up automatically. We found that to be true on our MacBook M1 Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Steam on our Mac and Steam Deck. We wanted to play this game, so we kept buying it until we found somewhere it was acceptable playable to me- Nintendo Switch. Yes, we have the game digitally there, and none of the above issues are present. The controls are FANTASTIC, especially since the sticks and shoulder buttons all combine in a way that allows us to play with both hands or only the left Joy-Con or only the right Joy-Con as the need arises. The save file automatically uploads to the cloud (I do have the annual Nintendo subscription, which is probably required), and we can end a session on our original Switch that we keep in our pocket and pick it up on our OLED Switch that is Satisfye gripped for longer sessions. With those gripes aside, we would like to say that the game is 10/10 otherwise. We’ve put 32 hours in within four days, and completed the main quest line in 26 hours. The game then opens up and is almost unlimited in replayability. It reminds us of a turn based RPG take on card games mixed with Diablo 3 (which we have a couple thousand hours into). Although there are multiple classes to choose from the start, and more unlock as you play, you only need one save file because you can sway to any other class after unlocking it. Thats actually part of the replayability, because there are rotating goals involving the classes. We played the campaign as a Monk class, but then unlocked a goblet that wants us to complete tasks while using the Mime class, in order to unlock rewards. What will the rewards be? We dont know yet, but we are eager to find out. There are always dopamine hits and that cycle of having one more thing you want to do before you call it a night, which keeps us hooked. Im not going into the basics of how the game works since we assume you can see everywhere else that its a Pokemon collect and battle game. What Ill extol are the customizations, like a castle you can expand, rearrange, and customize by changing tile sets of floors, walls, and the void outside, programming NPCs, tossing pictures on the walls and cobwebs in the corners, etc. Monsters can be combined to change color palettes and get two unique combat abilities in one creature. We’ve spent time playing the game on higher difficulties (where you enter a realm with randomized things to make life a nightmare) and had to pay attention to every turn, and we’ve also played where we put it on easy mode and just burned through levels while watching the evening news. We can see myself spending many more hundreds of hours with the game, but the low purchase price has already been worth it after 30 hours. We do recommend buying this game however you wish to play it, but hope the devs can make some adjustments to controls and saves.

The game then opens up and is almost unlimited in replayability. It reminds us of a turn based RPG take on card games mixed with Diablo 3 (which we have a couple thousand hours into on both Switch and PS3/4/5). Like everything else, its currency that allows the player to buy cosmetics, upgrade equipment or spells, level up creatures, and more upon more. There are always dopamine hits and that cycle of having one more thing you want to do before you call it a night, which keeps us hooked. Im not going into the basics of how the game works since we assume you can see everywhere else that its a Pokemon collect and battle game. We’ve used the universal save transfer system to go back and forth between playing on our Switch and iPhone 13 PM, which is how Im reviewing this version. Im up to 49 hours so far, and the endgame is just as entertaining as the campaign. We can see myself spending many more hundreds of hours with the game, but the low purchase price has already been worth it after 30 hours. We do recommend buying this game however you wish to play it, but hope the devs can make some adjustments to controls and saves.

After killing a False God and selecting an anointment, half the time the game crashes when either trying to open a chest or save the game. This causes you to not only lose the rewards, including the anointment, but also clears the False God mission for some dumb reason. This ruins an otherwise great game for us, and we recommend no one purchase this game until the bug is fixed.

The game is making us use the screen like a controller, but its too sensitive and so we cant select what we want. We dont see an option to just tap the screen instead of using the on screen controller. Im on iphone 13 mini. Maybe it would work better on a larger phone or something, but for us its not playable.

First off, its a whole game provided for what you pay. No extra charges, no ads, no time gates. Its a monster collecting game/final fantasy like rpg. Its complex but in a good way. There is a lot to understand but because of the variety of monsters there are so many different ways to play. Its a grindy game and has a lot end game progression loops. The enemy teams become more and more OP and while you are legit strong you will randomly run into a team that counters you so hard. Try the game out! You will not be disappointed. Its the best APP game we have come across in over 10 years. We appreciate the developer/s that made it. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

The title may be a tad bit biased because we have been following this game since it was on kick starter in 2020. Yes, we were a backer. The game was so ambitious that it was the one and only games we have ever backed on kick starter. We were a 50$ donor and we dont regret a single penny. Siralim Ultimate is a game that has infinite replay-ability and seemingly endless content. This game is better than most AAA titles being released today. The level of depth in this game is mind blowing. Strategy and team building are loads of fun and intuitive. Sure the pixel art our not be your high end graphics but we think it fits the game perfectly. We would recommend this game to anyone. Summary, You need this game. Thanks zack.

This is the game we dreamed about as a kid! Amazing gameplay, depth, music and graphics. Love. It. 235 hours later: Please tell whoever came up with Crounge, Budget Botanist and Vickie Torious thanks for an unexpected laugh. We’ve been under a lot of stress and have just busted out laughing. Art: Some themes that 80s designers wanted to put in are finally here: gore, aesthetic nudity, sexuality, etc. This is all done well, without distracting the gameplay. The art also has some modern tips of the hat including rainbows and androgyny. The random color palettes look good, from harmonious to jarring and glitchy on a high Realm Instability. Depth: Insanely deep. We’ve maybe gotten our team / castle half where we want it. This game is still not yielding too much too quickly. Its awesome that things you want to get are all tantalizingly displayed before you en masse. Writing: Tremendously effective, with occasional humor and meta references. THANK YOU to whoever wrote all the creature lore and one-liners when you visit your active team. Variety: There are SO many play styles and strategies. We started with a noob all-purpose team but graduated to a nasty (as in half the time win before turn 1) all-Abomination team. Inclusion abilities let you complete parties where sigils only grant bonuses to a single creature race. For certain situations we put a (spoiler) blendable aggro Tartarith in our team instead. There are also a TON of challenges that force you to make special teams up. This helps you make some crazy teams with styles you never thought of ever as a gamer. Differences from Siralim 3: Better redone creature abilities off from the start. Missing multiplayer a little but dont need it, please dont add it. Level play time: under 5 minutes to 1 1/2 hours in rare cases where youre like auuugggh, we need to sleep, where the #%^* is that piece of pixel trash we need or entangled in an awesomely deep, evenly matched fight or two. Once you win a tough fight, you can brag in public about how you won. We LOVE how Vacuum can be used for practically any trait, letting your team siphon a boss ability. Fights are really like puzzles where you analyze the enemy and then undo them as best you can. Overwhelming stats? Cool. One-hits? Sure! Slow lock-style abilities? Go ahead! You really can create a fiendishly clever team. Sometimes pieces to the solution are missing and it still ends up an enjoyable slugfest where the fun is not even knowing you may win. Rating: A+++++. Our only requests: Being able to have the interface bring you back to whichever race you were just summoning. Otherwise you have to summon, flip through, summon, flip through. Also can the history be listed in reverse order with the C button? When we want to check it its usually to see why a creature just died. Thank you SO, SO MUCH. As far as Im concerned this game really is perfect for letting out the awestruck kid in you. We grew up in the 1980s learning programming and playing Tunnels of Doom and this game is a long-dormant fantasy come true.

Warframe veterans will understand the complexity and the process of playing Siralim Ultimate. Youll always invest a considerable amount of time into acquiring game knowledge (the majority is available in the actual game) and strategizing your party setup. When you finally have your creatures and your gear fine tuned, you begin steamrolling enemies and levels. You start choosing the most difficult and rewarding levels, and steamroll those. You get more loot than you can imagine. You expand your castle, much like a dojo in Warframe, and you can decorate it with a platitude of items, including hundreds of plushies. Minus the multiplayer, this is our stand in for Warframe mobile. Siralim Ultimate shares the occasional string of grind after grind, but always has something waiting at the end of the grind tunnel.

Honestly one of the best phone games we have ever played. Really well put together, with an amazing strategy depth. To the dev we love it, we know its a paid game, but if you put in a skin shop, or something vanity like that, we think it would do pretty well. More for people like us that just want to show support to you and your game. Keep up the great work.

Great game but would love cool controller support.

Born in 87, we got to see it all; the wonderful DnD like/RPG standards set, to Pokmon taking the world by storm upon its release. We’ve been fortunate enough to have been along for the entire ride of Siralims saga. Each iteration feels more polished than the last. Every game has introduced more mechanics, while expanding on the fascinating and charming lore of the series. Siralim Ultimate lives up to its name – Ultimate in the sense of the Siralim experience in its entirety. The different realms/worlds (that are randomly generated EACH visit mind you!) are nice for their variance. Progression doesnt feel like you finished a goal, but something more fulfilling. You feel accomplished. Seemingly overwhelming at first, the game mechanics have been refined even further. The effort that went into this game is clearly reflected by the value you get out of it. The thousands of hours that are possible make this probably the most underrated, valued gem in the genres history. Please support the developer. For those who are wondering – the cross-platform/cloud saving feature works FLAWLESSLY. Transfer your save from PC (I play on Steam), to iOS seamlessly, all in game. Siralim Ultimate has undoubtedly raised the bar in the monster catching genre. Best described as, an adult-oriented Pokmon like game (in the sense of catching/collecting and fighting a team of monsters), with a heavy dose of RPG elements. You will not be disappointed at any price. This game is easily worth double whatever price youre looking at right now!!

One of the deepest games we have ever played. After hundreds of hours we still have things to do and goals to achieve! Always ways to develop your team so you feel like you are constantly improving your team every time you play.

Great game and you can save your files and play on the PC or Phone!

Siralim Ultimate is such an amazing game. Literally the best mobile game we’ve ever played. We’ve logged almost 24 hours on this game and there is still so much to do. Throws us back to the Dragon Quest Warrior Monsters days. So much depth and so much to min max. Amazing game.

We’ve played the whole series and we loved the previous installments and Ultimate brings so much more to the table. Ultimate even combines features from the first game with features from the second and third. This game provides endless amounts of content that will satisfy you for hundreds of hours. We’ve sunk only 20 hours into this game and we havent hit any major bug/problems besides one. Right after we hit the 20 hour mark in our Reaver play through we saved the game and when we came back the save file was gone. We wasnt saving via cloud and we didnt delete it. It was a minor annoyance but we restarted and Im still playing it. We would recommend this to anybody who loves RPGs or who loves to spend hours optimizing a team.

Huge fan of the game for computer, and was very excited to get the iOS version. Downloaded, and opened up to the menu screen. And no matter what we do, we cant click on any of the menu options or anything else. We’ve tried quitting and reopening, restarting the phone, all the usuals, but no dice. Im not sure whats going on but we hope it fixes soon so we can play the game!

We started playing on our iPad and the layover dpad controls are not moveable and block the text. No touch controls. Now our joystick and buttons are gone/invisible. Even if we star a new game. We are guessing this iPad port was an afterthought cash grab. It is actually literally unplayable in this state. We know its supposed to be a great game but utterly unplayable as is. We are going get a refund. Devs should be ashamed.

Its hard to believe games for iOS exist without touch controls. This is one of them. For $9.99 we expect a game to be properly ported to iOS. Instead, you get a virtual touchpad and a and b buttons. Horrendous experience.

We have hours spent playing this game on steam. We intend to have many more here as well.

Endless playability. We are a big fan of the series, and Ultimate is our favorite installment yet! Incredible improvements across the board, and the previous games were already ones we thoroughly enjoyed.
