PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX MATCHMAKING FOR EVERY SERVER we LITERALLY CANT GET PAST STAR PLAYER BECAUSE OF A 17 MINUTE QUEUE TIME. Other than that its the best basketball game imo.
This game is so amazing. Its loyal to the original anime, and every characters skills are all based on the original story. We can tell the game design team worked hard to preserve that Slam Dunk authenticity. Too bad we just found out about this game after we visited Japan in 2023. We wish we have known it earlier, then we would have had a better time during the pandemic.
We love this game its like addict.
Good game overall, but there is a server problem. We wanted to create an alt account on the NA server but it said server is full even though there is only one server? There arent that many players in the NA region anyways and if the server really is full, please create a second one like the other regions (TW, Europe, etc) Also matchmaking could be a little faster in rank, ever since we reached UA, we have to wait like an hour to get a game, and thats being lucky. But overall nice game, but just a few problems.
We love this game so much we decided to download it onto our new phone, we were so excited until we downloaded it and it kept saying server full and wont even let us change servers someone please help. We cant even play at this point.
Honestly this game could be so so much better than it is. Dunks are nigh unblockable, you dont get rewarded for playing defense people make deep threes in your face even though the shot shouldve been blocked, its never a sure way to get ultra players. Rukawa is unguardable doesnt matter if you jumped with him to block him he still dunks over you like come on. We get this is based off the anime but at least try to be fair. And Im a Rukawa player but we hate playing as him because of how op he is. You also miss shots from 3 feet from the rim just because, dont matter if your open or not. Theres alot that needs to be fixed, but overall its a decent mobile game.
At its peak (a year ago) this was one of the most fun games to play. Had a very clear ptw aspect but you could make up for it by being better at the game. You log in now and it is a ghost town no active player base you are playing against bots. We still cant give it a low score tho due to the 5-6 months were it peaked and every hour of any day you could have fun competitive games against actual people.
Somehow put this on the Nintendo switch or hype it up with the movie release. Maybe some crossovers like Kuroko no basket or Ahiru no Sora. Great game, its dying but it can be saved. The community is strong.
The game is fun but you its all bots that progressively get harder as you rank up until they stop giving you bots and you just cant queue for a game. Every time we open the game and queue for a game it says 48 minutes. Im not waiting 48 minutes for a game that last maybe 10.
It was fun until today the game wont load any team vs games and we keep losing points because we cannot start the game.
Recently reinstalled this game and it is the funnest basketball game Ive played in a long time really we wish more people would play so we could hoop them up too.
Amazing game, but needs more advertisements or tags that contain basketball so the NA region is expanded.
We think this game is good with the graphic and gameplay but how about trying to have a collab with like kurokos no basket or some anime with basketball. What im really trying to say is that there should be more characters. If they reject the collab request then its ok we understand.

We were in the middle of a game when we had to get off. When we closed the tab and got back on hours later in the game it still hit us with the you have an ongoing match please enter and continue the match when we clicked enter(which was the only option). It sent us to a screen with 6 players on it while loading the game but it never loaded even after 10 minutes. We decided to write this a a plea of help because we really dont want to give up on this game its phenomenal but thats our only real complaint please fix this as soon as possible.
Why is it when your rank reaches Superstar Rank; the waiting time is 20 minutes? We dont want to wait for other players to join in the Rank Match Queue. We dont have time for the wait. Limit the wait time to 5 minutes please, regardless of players or not in the Rank Match Queue. This is in North America Server 1.
So far we're playing, really enjoyable and has most of the anime stuff on it but there are server problems that players can not play in ranked and can enjoy, on servers like Asia works very well but Europe is rarely found games please fix its really frustrating.
Slam Dunk review New player Great nostalgic memories and feelings from this anime.True watchers of the show and basketball mobile game players will enjoy this masterpiece these developers put together especially with how the show ended..this is refreshing. After just discovering and downloading the game around 4:30 we came across this hidden gem of a game we appreciate the hand guided tutorial to get an understanding of the gameplay and mechanics.The english on this game doesnt match up exactly with the subtitles on some scenes but that is not a big issue for the English is appreciated with tolerable and respectable voice acting for the characters. We love the Sakuragi/Maki loading screen and the little animations.From the episodes to the characters design and gameplay is top tier animation and Im happy we came across this game. We have just downloaded and played the game for an hour and we appreciate the craft that was put into this game.Looking forwards to more great reviews as we continue to play.
Still to this day, its a great game and fun to play but20 minutes or more for RANKED MATCHES is insane, pleaaase!! M.fill the spots with bots so the game can go faster, they need to fix this part because the season pass ask a lot of rank play and we just cant stay all day waiting to play.
Can y'all add 2v2 and 1v1 ranks it would be a lot of fun if that was in the game besides jus keep on doing 3v3 rank all the tiem.

We didn't even get to try the game. There's only one North America server and almost all the server's are practically full for every other continent, except North America has ONE. And it's full. Like please fix that we really like the anime and wanna play. So please read this.

As far as gameplay goes we have no issues incredibly good! The wait time and penalties for waiting such a long time is of insane. 20+ minutes for any kind of ranked game should not happen! Especially when youre playing bot! Things are really expensive too we dont mind a little money here and there but, dont make it to where F2P people cant have a chance at the better players you give no chance of that without a ton of money put especially if they havent had an event or a sale. 300+ for one legendary is not gonna make sells happen. Please make changes for the better this game could be really amazing just fix things to benefit everyone.
Gameplay is amazing. However queue times are incredibly long and the quantity of currency obtained is very low which causes more grinding in order to buy anything, like the characters. Most of the game feels like a pay to access just to get characters, skins, courts, Etc. In general the game just requires to much grinding and waiting.
The gameplay is nice, mainly because Im playing with bots mostly. The game has a lot of potential, but the main thing preventing it from being a better game is the p2w. We recently started playing the game, and had quite a lot of gems stored from the mailbox option. We realized we could buy a character we wanted, so we did. Afterwards, we were dirt broke and just did our dailys and other missions for gems. The point was that its too hard to even get enough diamonds to even upgrade a single character, say for instance an ultra character. It could take up to half a week to get a single training card for a character, and it usually takes 8-10 for a SINGLE skill upgrade. Mostly, this review is for people who are just starting the game or coming back to it (The return rewards are good, just maybe not that good in the long run). Please, the game was good in the beginning until p2w options became a thing, and that didnt even allow you to fully max a character. 100$ for 10 ultra training cards is wild.
Why are iPhone users not allowed to play anymore after update and why isnt the U.S connected either.
Dont get us wrong this game is good but we feel like you guys would have more popularity if you add the kuroko no basket ball game to America we guarantee that it would be a hit if it his the App Store you guys can even make it a 5$ purchase game and we still guarantee you will be top 20 if not top 10 the anime community is quite large here in America as you can see based off your rating on slam dunk so if you take the time to read this message please do drop Kuroko no basket ball you dont have to add a dub cast just translate what you do in a tutorial or something if you can please.
We can request for Sannoh players. That add more legendaries and these characters are really good based on the movie.
We really love this game we just got back to the game because this movie is our best favorite child hood movie but only 1 problem is why you guys make it so expensive we used to pay like 1000 for this game already but we just cant get not even full 1 character we feel sorry but we have to delete it because so expensive for us but in future we hope u guy can make it less so for everyone can enjoy it perfectly but the gameplay everything is perfect for us except u need to pay so much to get some character we know u guys need a little money to maintain the game but its too much for us not everyone cant handle that price if they like 1 of those character thank you for reading it.
We love playing basketball games and this is one of the best ones.
We really like this game and the english voice lines of some are pretty funny, but the ranked matchmaking is so unbearable and makes it really hard to want to play. We just hit superstar V and now the ranked matchmaking takes us up to 20 minutes just to play one game. We are not able to our events or get real far in the road to glory section. Please allow us and any others in the NA servers to join other server world wide. Thanks.
Im having trouble with the game. It would like login us in after loading but then it would be saying that the connection to the server has been lost, please login again. Is it because we picked North America? Is that why it say that? Please fix the game it was working before but now its not.

Game has very good gameplay, but the community is small. Just join the Facebook and discord groups to find when other players are online and its great.
El emparejamiento de este juego es pura basura una vez llegas a jugador titular te tocan con players que son el rango maximo con los personajes al maximo y no es nada disfrutable porque por ms serca que estes de ese jugador meten TODOS los tiros y uno a veces open y falla mejoren el emparejamiento y cambio mi resea.
The game is great we only have a few critiques. We think it is much to hard to get talent cards for certain characters. Some characters need 300 gems to get one talent card or you have to spend real money to upgrade them. We think there should be no reason to have to spend real money to upgrade certain characters while the other characters talent cards are unlock-able through training card shards. We also wish that the other characters from the manga were in the game or are added to the game soon.
This is by far one of the best basketball games we have ever played on mobile. The mechanics and everything is great but we have run into a problem of not getting sakuragi because we ended up getting the training cards instead of actual player hoping we can get him whenever we want. We want to if u guys can help us get him and for future references please make it so u can get him first before his training cards. Overall, this is a great game that has great potential.
Im having fun on this game, we love playing with friends but we just wish ranked matchmaking with a full squad was faster to find a match, thats our only complaint. Other than that, im having a blast.
This is the only game on the App Store we ever gave a review for and we can just say we love this game and enjoy it more than any other game we have ever played keep coming with the updates and new things.
We cant join a game in ranked, so we cant do our tasks or anything. We are in super star rank and the queue there is over 10minutes usually. Can you please somehow fix this so we can play. Thanks.
The story for this game has only made it to where shohoku has a practice match against ryonan. But at the same time holy crap they come up with so many things you can buy like little effects and dumb stuff like that. This game feels like fortnite basketball mode. You have to pay to get progress otherwise everyone else is doing KNB type moves and your stuck trying to 100% one single player. Greedy company if you like slam dunk just watch the show this is genuinely disgraceful.
You guys need to add more love to the NA players, rank match on our side keeps q a disaster 15 minutes wait time and if we ever got to play rank, We could at least play 3 games tops. Also, make your AI reliable. Akagi is a center and doesnt do rebounds??? What the heck. Im not speaking just for ourselves but please make it a good experience to us specially if were spending money on this game.
Game was made airtight great only thing missing is a jump shot meter. Bringing a skill gap to who can shoot and who cant.
Downloaded the game and watched the cartoon. But cant never finish downloading the first initial package. Always says Resource download has timed out. 100% sure our internet connection is perfect. Tried to deleted the game and reinstalled couple times. Faster at the beginning and then speed reduces to 0-10 kb/s.
