We have the original Snood for our iPad that Ive used for ages. Im not thrilled with the new cluttered start screen when we downloaded to our new iPad. The basic game is the same but the simplified older version is much nicer with showing scores etc.

Playing this game reignites the familiar feelings of coming home after middle school, firing up the old desktop and hearing that satisfying fanfare after disappearing all those smiling, shaky faces.
Ive been playing this game on our Mac for many years, but get very frustrated on the iPad version. We have yet to get to level 50, losing the majority of the time due to never being presented with the needed color. Its frustrating to get 20-30 Snoods in a row in every color but the one needed. Clearly the app is designed to force you to fail. Also, when choosing to watch an ad in order to get another life, the ads can sometimes be one to one and a half minutes. Thats significantly longer than any other game that we play.
This was a 5 star game until the big update. Stats are missing now? Please bring them back.

One of our favorite game of old.
Im an original fan of this game, bought back when we were in high school in the late 90s and even still have and wear our SNOOD hoodie we got in 2002 or 03. Played it on our gameboy too. We didnt realize they made this game for Mac and just bought it. Really am loving it as its pretty near identical to the original version. We saw it had an iPhone version and downloaded it, only to find our purchase doesnt translate to the iOS version and you have to watch ads or pay to get tokens. We also noticed that your failure feels really forced. We dont struggle to get the correct snood color on the Mac version like we have been on iOS. Feeling very cash grabby and Im honestly disappointed. Id love to play a mobile version of this but Im not paying again (and more than what the Mac version costs) to play on our phone. Love snood, have always been a hardcore fan, but this was kind of a yikes and no thanks for us. Guess Ill stick to playing in our Mac.
Am in top 9% of snood players we play every night to relax. This update is killing us! The board is smaller, danger level seems shorter. Perhaps this update is to get new users, for but for us old timers please make the old version an option. We are really disappointed.
Love the game but its still not back to the original full screen board in landscape mode on iPad. Please bring that back. Otherwise we love Snood.
We were really pleased to find Snood, a nostalgic game, largely untouched and played it a lot during a difficult period in 2025. That version is a five-star game to us. We completely lost the desire to play with the update as its got a different vibe, one we find stressful rather than soothing. Please make the update changes a setting shift, leaving the old set up as an option.
We play on our iPad in landscape mode, and suddenly its gone! Its impossible to hold an iPad steady with one hand in vertical mode. Wont be playing until you fix it AGAIN.
This most recent update seems to have made the game board smaller, at least when Im playing in landscape orientation. Its frustrating to have the board smallerIve been playing this game for years to wind down at night, but now we feel like we have to squint to play. It would be great if you could enlarge the board back to the original size.
It not only helps us wind down after a hard day, but its fun to play anytime So simple yet fun! Our grandkids love it too.
Ive always loved this game. We play on our iPad and the latest upgrade will only play on the vertical, we want our horizontal option back.
App was great until last update. Snood classic was just like in the 90s until now- new UI is ugly and distracting, play area is smaller, and also you cant see the backgrounds while you switch. We like classic because its classic, now its messed up :(.
When is puzzle mode coming? This is why we paid for this game.

Ive been reading reviews and am surprised so many people are having trouble. We play on our iPad, it doesnt freeze for us. We havent noticed it playing against us or not getting the color we need more than normal. We will say that we keep our iPad and apps updated. We love the game, simple but still fun.

We love when we get to shoot the snood monsters at their kind! It make them disappear. Our favorite part is when the brick wall, it makes the level harder.
This was our moms favorite game when it came out and its so fun to play now! We love that they kept with the original feel. Endless fun.

We used to play Snood on our desktop PC in the early 2000s and really enjoyed it. One day about a year ago we looked for it in the App Store and, lo and behold, it was there! And, bonus, the classic game with the old-school snoods was available. We play it every morning now on our phone.
Ive been snooding for 20 years and have no plans to stop.
We played this back in the 90s but this lazy port to iOS is clearly written to be a cash grab by an aging out of touch programmer. It could have been good but the in game purchases or subscriptions and not clear on what they provide and only the $20+ one allows unlimited play. Apparently we unlocked other features but we dont see any difference in the game. Also you are able to continue after failure if you use consumable in app purchases currency or watch an ad. The leaderboard does not reflect how many times someone did this to get the score they got. It could have been great, but it is mediocre at best, a lazy port with predatory in game purchases at worst.
Amazing game that we hadnt played in 20 years. It popped into our brain and delivered a great memory and a fun game. We wish the full version were a little cheaper, but its probably worth $20.
Im glad to be able to play the classic version of the game still! What a throwback. We took off one star because the end game is annoying, sometimes it takes like 20 snoods to knock down just a few remaining snoods. We think the game state is delayed because after only 1 type of snood is remaining, often 2 more random types will get pulled into to the mix which can cause more delays in finishing a level.
We were so glad to find this game as an app, we used to play when it was on PC! Love it.

Love this game, but it need to have an Ad free option as well as no Microtransactions on the Rare Snood power ups. This is why we adored the Mac version because it was a complete game. Wish you can do that for the Mobile version of Snood. It Balatro can make a $10 game on the App Store with no Microtransactions so can you. Thanks.
