What Makes SpaceCorp Stand Out
Lead mankind's exploration into outer space! Build bases on the Moon and Mars, survey the rings of Saturn, explore the vast oceans of Europa, and send generational Colony ships to Alpha Centauri and beyond, all in one sitting! SpaceCorp: 2025-2300 AD is a fast-playing, turn-based, sci-fi strategy game, playable in 60 minutes or less!
Using a clever card-driven, hand-management system, SpaceCorp plays in under 60 minutes, and has many exciting game modes, from playing against aggressive AI's to playing against a devious, hand-crafted, card-driven automa. It also includes optional era situation cards to add additional variety.
Do you have what it takes to lead mankind into the future?
In SpaceCorp, the player explores and develops outer space over three eras. The player controls an Earth-based enterprise seeking profit by driving the expansion of humanity into the Solar System and nearby stars. In SpaceCorp you can …
-
Assemble a spaceport at a Lagrange Point.
-
Launch an exploration mission to Mars.
-
Mine asteroids.
-
Earn profit from exotic resources discovered on the Jovian moons.
-
Discover microbial life in the subsurface oceans of Charon.
-
Decode exo-DNA to develop radiation resistant human pioneers.
-
Undertake a mission to Alpha Centauri in a generation ship.
-
Break through technological barriers to achieve faster-than-light travel.
-
Establish a colony in the Tau Ceti star system.
-
Each of the three eras is played on a different map:
-
The first era, Mariners, covers exploration and development out to Mars.
-
In Planeteers, players settle the outer solar system.
-
In Starfarers, players send missions to nearby star systems and establish interstellar colonies.

Community Insight:
It would be hard for us to suggest any changes to this outstanding digital game. This is our favorite space themed board game that is very challenging to get to the table to play all 3 eras. The digital game lets us blast thru all the eras anytime and anywhere! Would love to see a pass and play feature in the future. AI could be better, but Im comfortably challenged by the medium difficulty level right now. Cant wait to play the expansion.
Top notch implementation of a great board game game.
The update fixed the crashing. Now we can say this is a fun game and we await the dlc.
This is an excellent presentation of an excellent board game, and it doesnt require a 3×4 table. SpaceCorp is a challenging game with interesting mechanics that do not require doom fleets. There are many ways to win and to lose. The AI is no slouch. If you are unfamiliar with SpaceCorp avail yourself of the excellent manual linked to the app after doing the tutorial. This port does an excellent job of presenting the complex mechanics to relieve the player of mundane chores. Kudos to the developer. The fun and challenge is in the nuances of strategy, and while you ponder your next move, the excellent sound track creates the setting of a sci-fi adventure without ever becoming intrusive or annoying.
The update did the trick. Now the game works perfectly. We are enjoying the implementation of the board game.
Core game is very nice. But with Ventures, a lot of combinatorial possibilities appear. Lots to explore. Also helps us be a better player at the table when we break out the boardgame.
How can you go wrong? No bugs so far and it plays the same. We are hooked and $7 is so much better than a single coffee.
While it isnt as graphically impressive as other modern boardgame conventions, its a well done rendition of SpaceCorp. We havent encountered a single bug in 5 plays, and either that AI isnt that bad at the game, or Im the worst SpaceCorp player on the planet. If you like the game, or just like space themed Boardgames in general, youll get your worth out of this offering.
Tutorial doesn't work the greatest (e.g. If you leave and come back it's confusing what you were doing because the tutorial text may go away) and no online multilayer yet, but the game is playable. We've found navigating the board a bit difficult. Improving the pinch to zoom functionality would help. It's there but janky.
While we havent yet played the board game, this seems a faithful implementation based on the rule book. It is very fun and (so far) very challenging, but we are new to the game so maybe we will get better. The tutorial could be more complete, however. It includes multiple AI opponent levels and even implements the board game solo AI as an option. The developer is very responsive and is working on fixing the crashing issue on devices with lower memory.
Im enjoying the game, but Ive run into what we think may be a bug. When we get into the second era, some of the cards introduced into the deck are blank. They do have a effect on the game we can see values when we perform an infrastructure upgrade, for example, but the cards themselves have no art, no text, and are just white outlined playholders. Have you run into this before? We have not tried reinstalling yet. That will be our next step. Anyway, hopefully this is an easy fix. Otherwise, enjoyable game.
Over the years, we've dabbled with many board games on iOS. SpaceCorp is an excellent addition to our favorites! The gameplay is smooth, and the controls are easy to grasp on a smalls screen. The setting is compelling and the music is excellent. The board game is a lot of fun, and we find ourselves appreciating the random aspects of the game after each play through! Our only issue is a lack of multiplayer! If the devs see this, we'd love to see that added. Games like Race for the Galaxy still have a great MP scene on their app even a decade later.
