A Glimpse into Spades Card Game*

Best Spades Game. 100% Free. No in-app-purchase. Provide best user experience.

A standard pack of 52 cards is used ranked from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.

The four players are in fixed partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other. The first dealer is chosen at random, and the turn to deal rotates clockwise. The cards are shuffled and dealt clockwise.

The player to dealer’s left leads any card (except a spade). Each player, in turn, clockwise, must follow suit if able; if unable to follow suit, the player may play any card. A trick containing a spade is won by the highest spade played; if no spade is played, the trick is won by the highest card of the suit led. The winner of each trick leads to the next. Spades may not be led until either some player has played a spade, or the leader has nothing but spades left in hand.

The side which reaches 500 points first wins the game.

Too many ads and some very hard to stop and return to the game.

A add every hand. Come on. Need to splaying scoring better. Not the way we learned.

Really enjoy it. If we could change one thing we would reduce the number of Ads.

Adds a introduce and politely. Summer too loud summer very hard to delete. And way too frequent.

Enjoyed this gMe very much until ads appear throughout the game. Way too many. The game itself rates high. Norte seems.

Our partner is terrible at playing Nil, if we pick nil she does not support our plays. Other than that we enjoy the game.

We used to really like this app and would have given it four stars until today. We updated our app and now Im getting an ad after EVERY hand. We understand, and dont mind, the need for free apps to have ads but one after EVERY hand is ridiculous. Im going to give it a couple of days to see if theres an update that cuts way back on the ads. If not then Im deleting the app and finding another.

" we love this game, it keeps our mind in alert mode every time we play spades"

We enjoy playing this game and we like the fact that this app has an undo button.

Great game!! Really fun to play.

The entire history of teacher appreciation week is a made up lie by the national Pta Teacher appreciation week was started in Flint Michigan in 1980/81 school yr by Terry Dudley Douglas. The Pta was losing members so to gain fame and fortune the PTA started lying and claiming to be the founder of TAW. Children are dying trying to get a education kids risk their lives everyday 4 the opportunity to learn. They deserve the best and honest experience in education PTA do not care about what children learn contact the PTA tell them to respect children and remove the PTA lies about teacher appreciation week. The PTA just wanted money.

We love this game and we play it about 6 times everyday. It has 3 levels and although it’s a computer, it’s fair. You will win some games too.

We enjoy this game, it allows us to brush up on our skills! It would be fun to change partners, or maybe we have learned how to.

Opponents tend to routinely under bid hands. Also the game locks up when computer is losing.

Don’t waste the space on this game it is really lame and anything but real spades.

This game is geared for the male computer to win. Very unfairly designed!

Chauvinism which is unfair. The women are outplayed.

Great game! Keep improving the partner.

Allows us to relax at the end of the day. We wish we could see Ann’s finished book numbers before the next game appears – Ann’s scores are covered. Need to reposition her scores by her head maybe?

This could be an awesome game to play if the players were not so slow! It is frustrating waiting forever for them to play a card. Too bad!

Partner does not bid hand. Really messes up on nil bids.

Love the game of Spades but the way this game gathers points is ridiculous.

Computer parter is really bad a supporting nil bid.

This game cheat. They will cut your books and then play a card they just cut and the opposing team always get the better hand and work together, but your partner constantly cut you.

The programmer that wrote this game had no knowledge of how Spade is played. There should be multiple updates to correct these flaws. We have played over by our partner besides not being able to bid his hand even close. This is by far the worst game of Spade we have seen.

Overall not a bad game. Best of the three we have tried so far. Two suggestions: first if any player goes nil no one try’s to make them take a trick ( except we do ). We have gone nil a dozen times and have always made it. Second there needs to be a bid of zero. Separate from nil. Sometimes a hand is so bad that it does not look like you could take a trick but just good enough that it is not worth trying for nil.

Enjoy this game. A lot of fun when you need to hide what your doing at a meeting.

Seems like the other players (seats) always hVe all the spades. In 5 hands we’ve had 2 times with (1) spade. Also our (mate) trumps us all the time. We do not feel that the game should block out suits not being played. We should be able to throw a 2 of spades to trump the hand when all we have in current suit is very low. We would have that option in real spades.

The game is set up that The player Ann often overbids her hand and cuts her partner which results in you losing points. We started paying more attention and noticing that sometime your winning books are given to the other team. The other team holds out by not playing the suits that is called. You can’t do that because you are blocked from playing any other card if you have a card from the suit that is played. We don’t want to play that way because in a real game it is called reneging and you lose books. We have enjoyed playing the game but all the advantage is given to the other partners team. It becomes very frustrating because the computer knows what you have in your hand. Hoping that when updates they make the game fairer to play.

We love the game except our partner (computerized) does not understand the concept of going NIL and when we go Nil it’s our partner most of the time that burns us. Did the computer programmer not understand the game?

Great game. We would like to be able to play many styles. Like joker, joker, deuce. Instead of the straight suit spades.

However Ann our partner has horrible eyes & face we have to look at – should be able to pick what our partners look like she also overbids which causes us to try to underbid so we don’t loose the hand- all 3 trump there partners all the time & none of them know what a ‘nil’ bid is & we get so frustrated when our partner starts taking books we just turn the game off!!! We never get the hands that the other 3 consistently get & our partner never leads off in a way that communicates to us what she’s got & then she trumps us all the time. Very frustrating at times!!!

Not the best spades app. Does offer blind nil (+200 points if you succeed). Partner does not know how to play a regular nil. Partners like don not change. Maybe this is a beginner level.

It is not fair. Your partner will bid 0 and throw a spade. Or will bid 7 or 8 and not have the cards to back the bidding. It looks like the house knows what is going to be played. You don’t win 97% of the time.

Ann is a very poor bidder. She Always over bids, and does not cover us when we go nil. She plays higher trumps on a trick When she is the last player unnecessarily. It is so frustrating, if we underbid to compensate for her overbidding, we get a bag over trick on our team score. The competing team do not play together poorly, they seem to be able to play hands more realistically following their partner’s lead. When we go Nil, she always sinks our ship unnecessarily. Also the opposing team is allowed to sluff off and play an unled suit. Of Course this is an untrue picture if you are counting cards and watching for suits they are void in. This app needs work, but overall it is fun to play mindlessly.

Our computer partner threw out an ace after we threw out a king and set us. There’s no blind nil, and our partner was constantly bidding higher than what they could make.

Game is fun but does not follow conventional rules from the hood.
