Give back our old style cards, cant see if card is fully traited, plus mana colors not easy to see, plus bronze medal troops does not show, plus to many things going on a card that has been hit by another troop almost impossible to see how much armorand health left. Its totally a crappy design.
We quit this game because real life did not allow enough time to complete guild obligations. However, one complaint is that there needs to be some variety in guild events. They are too similar. Also, please revamp treasure hunt. All in all, super fun and there is tons of stuff to do. Many old-school D&D references.
This was our favorite game prior to the last update then it kinda fell apart. It crashes or slows down to over a minute per turn then crashes. Please fix this!
Can the server of the Campaign please be looked at. It will not load. It keeps spinning balls.
We’ve been playing Gems of Wars for years, and we really enjoy it; however, today, we awoke to the new upgrade that changed the card displays in combat. As an Old, the numbers are too small and too close to the card colors to be readable for us. We played the Daily Adventures and was rewarded with an intense headache from eye strain. Im afraid if they dont change it back, this will be the end of the line for us. At least give us Olds an option to see the numbers better, please.
What happen?!? Why change the look of the troops on the new update. Im very disappointed. We don’t like the new look at all. Terrible, not playing again until fix. One of our favorite games have been ruined.
Who came up with this update? Awful. You cant even see the health or mana anymore. We’ve been playing for 5 years. Im considering uninstalling it at this point.
Our controller that we just bought, the backbone does not work. No button respond and let us play the game with the controller please can we get some help with that?
The new update is terrible. The UI is blurred, hard to see, can barely see health bars, mana is confusing especially for a new player, gold trim looks terrible on troops, Mythics look bad, there is no reward to get that light blue border on making a troop mythic. Players are leaving globally as we speak. There are guilds that have open spots all over the place. Players equal profits and good customer service makes people spend. We have been in a chat with over a hundred players who are going to quit until they are heard. The new weekly event is trying to lower gem savings and is a cash grab. Everyone we have talked to will never buy gems. We have spent money where it is needed like on Dragon armor. Cramped up game play makes for a unpleasant experience. We loved this game. Also your player base is adults not 7 year olds. This will fall on deaf ears like treasure hunt did when a admins girlfriend/wife liked it as is so there was no change. People have 10s of thousands of treasure maps. Pay attention because attention gets paid. A fix to this update bleed would be allowing players to revert back to the old UI or keep the new one. Another option is giving the players the ability to choose what aspects they want on and off on their UI. The choice should be the players.
Tired of awesome looking games with neat ideas that then waste your first 15minutes forcing you to do things instead of playing the game. This is another one, zero stars.
This game was five star then they did this very stupid update and ruined it we mean we’ve been playing for 5 years we lost our first account but we restarted a year ago because this game was really fun but now you cant even tell how much attack armor and life a card has and you cant even tell its level or rating its just so stupid please fix this game we cant even play it now and we doubt Im the only one.

We have been playing this game for a long time as we thought it to be an awesome game. We usually look forward to the updates of a game because the game usually gets better but unfortunately we are starting to dislike the updates to this game as it keeps getting worse!! Bummer!!

Last week we deleted the app and now we downloaded it again but now there is no chat or am we missing something idk the chat was a third of what we like about the app with no chat it makes the app seem useless. We found it impossible to get past the fifth kingdom without making a purchase to increase the strength of our troops enough to proceed. Losing over and over again is very demoralizing and being forced to make a purchase in order to proceed defeats the purpose and enjoyment of a free to play game.
Ill start by saying that if youre a newcomer considering this game, dont bother. If you do, dont spend any money on it. We’ve been playing this game and enjoying it for yearsits a fantastic conceptbut unfortunately, in the past year the quality and support has dramatically declined. New features are clearly not beta tested, glaring bugs (such as missing artwork for many troops) are reported by players and simply ignored by the developers, and in the games forum, reps for the game rarely respond to feedback, and even when they do, its a one-time well look into it message that never results in a solution. In a recurring event released today, its comically obvious the devs didnt bother to remove placeholder elements in the template. We have spent a significant amount of money on this game over the years, because we do believe devs should be paid for their work, and we got real value from the game. However, thats changed. We certainly wont be spending anything going forward unless theres significant improvement. In fact, things have gotten so bad we wouldnt be surprised if the game was simply shut down soon, as it seems the company that owns it has lost interest in truly supporting it.
Update: devs explain insult as creative bug fix. We upgraded rating to 3 stars. Original review: we’ve been playing for years and love the game, but the latest release includes offers to purchase simple troops and pets for 1 million gems. For the uninformed, that would require a cash purchase of over $25,000! No explanation as to why the eff anyone would think thats a good deal. To accumulate 1 million gems without a purchase would be literally impossible to achieve even if you played every day for 8 hours a day and never spent gems for anything as you accumulated them. This review is to alert people considering this game that the developers have lost their minds. There is no other explanation. Offering to sell their customers a common game resource for $25,000 is the textbook definition of insanity.
The trail teams are the WORST its nearly impossible to beat them and we use them to level up weaker classes so thats out of the table, not only that but the teams all share similar mana and are low level, our team of level 5 and 1 is never going to beat a level 18 team with all THEIR traits unlocked and NON OF MINE.
Its a game with tons of potential but no balance. You can literally get skipped for twenty turns, just to be thoroughly ineffective once you get a turn again.
New update will make it IMPOSSIBLE FOR NEW PLAYERS TO LEVEL UP without major cash output WAS great when we started it a few months ago, but creators suddenly skewed the game to benefit only players with years of experience!! Should have negative stars – ie – black holes as a review!
Hello,Developers Your app doesnt load at all. So then we have to delete it. So please fix the bugs that are in your game app.
We personally love the game as it is a simple and unique match 3 game the graphics are great and the devs add new mechanics relatively often but there is one problem we’ve had the button thats supposed to allow you to link accounts for some reason doesnt actually work it always says that the account doesnt exist but otherwise Its on of our personal favorite games.
Great game, we love how far its come, its a classic that isnt crazy about micro transactions. Great story and actually fun instead of stressful.
This game is fun and addicting and you dont have to waste money on it to get thru levels.
Its not popular. At least we dont think it is but this is definitely like candy crush but for a teen like us. Its so fun. The only problem we have with this game is that it gives too many free things in the beginning. You should work for it and not have it given to you. On PlayStation its very hard and we like that. On mobile its too easy.
We’ve got games at beginner, medium, and pretty well leveled up. Its just not easy and we dont mean we want a cakewalk but jeez, Id like to win a little more frequently.
The console version is relaxing and great to play. The phone version is terrible. Just about everything has a 20% dodge ability, which they do way more than 20%. We actually had battles where they avoided skull damage over 3 times in a row. Also, everything resists skull damage by at least 25%. Seriously people? Going to stick with the console and not going to recommend this game to anyone nor am we going to spend money on it. Youll be wasting your money if you do because the game will always find a way to beat you no matter what team you put together.
We have played this game since 2014. On the ps4, Nintendo Switch, kindle, and our phone. Our wife and kids play in and then suddenly today we sign in and they say we have been banned for hacking. They dont give an option to fix it or contest it or contact them in anyway. Its a bummer, we’ve been playing this game for years and now suddenly cant anymore.
Even after multiple device changes, we always come back to this game in some way or another. We have played this game for so long. We love the game dynamics/game play. We love the card descriptions! Its a wonderful game. Id recommend this for anyone who wants a D&D-ish color matchemups. Theres plenty of other features too whether social world chat or guilds. Theres something for most in this game (theres always gonna be some that dont like the features given). Lots of work in the beginning but nothing too difficult or pay-to-win. You get back as much work you want to put in. Of course there is normal buy in game currency stuff but nothing too crazy outside of that. So for us Id give it a 10/10. We love this game.
We have this game on multiple consoles and its one of our go too games highly recommended if u like puzzle ect.

Even after taking multiple breaks from playing this game we always find myself coming back. Easily one of the most balanced mobile games in terms of F2P/P2W (provided youre in a competitive guild). Tons of content, events, and team possibilities. Definitely worth the download.
This is the best match-3 game in the App Store, imo, and we’ve enjoyed it for a couple of years now, but several days ago, it just stopped working. It freezes on startup every single time. Heartbreaking.

Game is freezing on login. Checked for an update, there isnt one. Playing on IOS. Other games load and play just fine. Fix please.
Some fun mechanics, but to much content is gated behind World Quests that are way overpowered for the point in the game that you get them. The quest to unlock medals at level 20 is especially ridiculous. It blocks you from doing any of the other World Quests that come after. Devs really need to fix this awful new player experience.
After update keeps freezing while loading into game.
The hot fix worked on iPhone but freezes on opening with ipad. This started with latest fix. Too bad, love the game.
This the most detailed match 3 game in the store.. Lots of things to do and level up. Great campaign mode. Events are somewhat fun, our only issue is thats its so obviously a fixed game. The developers have made it blatantly obvious that the gems dont just fall randomly.. Its really sus when the gems fall just right for MULTIPLE turns were computer keeps getting extra turns.. And sometimes when you use your skill, 80% of the time it organizes the gems in favor of the computer or your opponent. So you are almost always penalized when you use your battle skills..
It is a great game but froze too much.
We were having a good time with the game. They have a lot of different in-game activities to do, with very little gated by energy or keys or the like. But improving your cards or classes takes a lot of resources, which DOES take some time. Which wouldnt be an issue, except once you commit the resources, theyre spent. And this morning, we logged in to find theyve completely overhauled one of our cards that we invested a LOT into, and its now ineffective with our lineup. There are hundreds of cards, all with unique special abilities. How are you supposed to build a line up, or even get an understanding of what cards do what, if the cards themselves can just drastically change how they work?
We have become obsessed with this game. We forgot to link our account and lost it with our hero at level 53. Customer support (shout out to OminousGMan) was absolutely terrific, recovered our account within a couple hours!!!! Great attitude, great customer service.
Great game, you can grind it if you want and not feel the need to pay to play. Fun card collecting and leveling system tied in amongst a strategic gem matching game.

If youre a fan of the first two Puzzle Quest games and cant stand seeing the trainwreck that series has become, this is the best place to be. While it goes overboard with the micro-transactions and pop-ups, the core mechanic is just as polished and satisfying as we had hoped. Having a team of interchangeable troops with interesting and wildly different skills makes every game feel fresh. We’ve had a fun time with it on our phone and am downloading on our iPad to play here too.
