We were kind of ok with the pace until it wanted us to take our dude from level 12 to 19. SEVEN levels??? Are you kidding us? Especially when you cant pick who you upgrade and you only got 7 people. F. O. H. We stopped playing when we saw that. Youre asking for too much time, or ad watching, or money.
Theres not much to do here. You click to upgrade and watch them upgrade and thats it. Theres not really any strategy here because it locks options and you only pick the next upgrade. You cant choose the next upgrade on your own. So you just click the next upgrade and sit and watch them upgrade. Theres not a lot of forced ads but theres lots and lots of ads to click on and watch. And probably the worst part about the game is the little icons on the side. You see a picture of something and click it to watch the ad and then you find out what it actually is that you got. Theres no description telling you what youre going to get. Easy pass on this one. We have no clue what Im working towards. We have no clue how to repair the boat. You just click to upgrade then click to upgrade and then click to upgrade again. And you never get anywhere.
Cant upgrade anything at the moment. We need to build a Farm but in order to build a farm we need to upgrade our food picker to level 3. But we have no food picker?!? We cant get any more people because we would need to upgrade our tower but we cant upgrade our tower because we need a farm. So sad it was such a fun game. Not sure how something as simple as this can get overlooked. There are so many reviews of this happening to others as well and still no fix.
All our purchases disappeared for this game and the restored purchases button does not work. We also tried to install it on our iPad and the restored purchases doesnt work there either. We have spent all this money for NOTHING. Scam.
Never seem to get our reward after watching ads. We also never get anything when we claim our daily gift. Feels rigged.
We want to like this game but having ads on every bit of edge of the screen is annoying. For once Id like a game that didnt offer you something every 2 mins and screen spam ads.
All we can do is upgrade our two workers with food over and over. Theres not much gameplay at all.
Why on earth would you make leveling each character a higher price regardless of who youre upgrading? At least let us choose who to upgrade.
There is no way to advance on the third level without a fisherman and we are unable to get one.
We dont think we’ve ever had a game push micro transactions on us this hard. The gameplay is non existent and its mostly about just having the game open. If you want to play mini games or are looking for something to do this is not it. You dont do anything. Just wait. You could speed things along by watching adds (and they will push adds on you as hard as the transactions) but there is no real play.
Theres so much potential for the game but it can be so frustrating! We had to restart a few times since we couldnt get a builder to unlock upgradesthe second time we got a builder but since upgrading your hero its so random we had to upgrade other characters about 29 times before finally upgrading the builder. But then we were met to realize that when we lock our phone the food picker wont do sh!y unless we have the game open at all times.
Less than 5 minutes into the game its pushing micro transactions and later it starts forcing ads whether you click into them or not.
Too many ads, makes it unpleasant to play.
When you pay for gets rid of ALL ads that means forced adds too. It got rid of the forced ads for a little bit. Now theyre popping up constantly. Just another app thats figured out out to get money out of people and not offer the services. Its criminal and eventually the people who do this will be charged/fined/imprisoned.
This seriously is a predatory app that throws you forced app at its finest.
No free ways to get gems Forced ads every two seconds Oh but if you pay no more ads Like the game but its a pile of hot trash Save your money dont play this game.
We have been playing for a short time now and as much as we hate these ads we were still playing.. Up till the adds where forced. Ill be In The middle of playing it it will automatically play an add , that is NOT Ok. We play enough adds while Im playing the game no need for greed uninstall.
We love the game, but it crashes way too often. Sometimes have to load app multiple times before it properly launches.
We’ve been enjoying the game up until now. Fun little game where we can watch guys run around, but due to not having a fisherman Im unable to unlock our fishing rod and Im just stuck with no way to progress! There needs to be a way to ensure the player can progress, either guarantee a character type needed to progress the game or dont lock upgrades behind certain characters. We literally cannot progress.
Every once in a while the game will kick us off without warning and there are glitches in the sound. Also anytime we get a notification banner it freezes our screen and after so many it kicks us off as well. We like the game its pretty fun but the glitches are throwing us off.
It was fun, until it wasnt. After the second journey and about 1/4 of the way through the 3rd, you need to spend money to get the appropriate character to be able to progress. Without that, all you can do is level up your existing characters.
Okay so the game is really fun. It constantly gives you something to work on, the animations/graphics are reasonable for what it is. BUT there are a few issues we’ve encountered during the time that we’ve been playing: 1. Advertised packs/bundles that force you to stare at the product. The little timer on the X is ridiculous.. We mean cmon, really? 2. Audio glitching when using the whip on the prisoner to speed things up. We’ve noticed that on occasion, the whip will make no sound, or it will mute other sounds such as: farming sounds, background music. 3. You guys are charging people to skip advertisements and get the rewards, $3.99 PER. This alone has almost made us delete. Its pure greed. We get it, devs gotta make a living too, but jeez. You made a game that begs its users to open their wallet every 5 minutes. And that alone deserves an uninstall. Other than these things, the game can be enjoyable. Get on, give the lil villagers work, get off. Rinse. Repeat.
Why even bother having and leveling a farm if our gathers/farmers are just going to go fish? Why bother having miners if they are going to go play woodcutter? Heck the only ones who only does their jobs is the woodcutter and the fisherman. Paying $4 for EVERY possible ad is a complete money grab. We paid the $4 for the planes and if the offered supplies arent what we originally paid for we still have to sit through a ad.
The game was easy to understand, relaxing, and we really like the art style. The only issue is that it makes our phone lag really bad so we can’t really play it anymore.
We really enjoy playing the game but Im stuck and unable to progress which is annoying. In order to continue playing we need to upgrade a smith to level 5. The only problem is that we dont have a smith character and dont seem to have a way to get one. We have 6 characters and we’ve already max leveled everything we can. We cant level anything further until we make a forge and we cant make a forge until we upgrade a smith which we seems impossible to attain. Might end up deleting because Im frustrated.
Liked the game and got to the third location. Now it tells us we need a miner level 9 but we dont have one. Spent our gems to try for one and got a food picker. Cant progress now and cant get more workers with out spending. Shame because we were really enjoying this game even though it is a bit ad heavy.
Spent PLENTY of time in this game and it was a good way to pass time over the last few weeks. Yes it has LOTS of ads but they arent necessary so whatever. The problem comes in world 3 when we need a fisherman to continue the game, but even with everything fully leveled as far as they will go we still only have 1 villager with no chance of getting the fisherman or any other villager to be able to continue the game. We want to keep playing but cant. PLEASE FIX YOUR BROKEN GAME!!

So relaxing and satisfying game.
Plane flies by. Ok. Dont like how it forces you to spend gems. Needed a character leveled up. Every tech was researched. Could not make house bigger for more food storage so no raising character levels. Had to buy levels with the gems we were saving for newbie pack. Made us sad.
So we want to start off with saying we really like this game. There arent annoying ads that take you away from the game, the auto run for the workers seems pretty balanced too. The only things we would say as far as a critique or issue would be that our game starts to lag and itll freeze every other frame. Also maybe an option to purchase a faster speed setting for the workers?
This is a cute game and Im enjoying it. The pay for each separate boost and weekly/monthly subscription seems unnecessary and could be a one time payment. But our only complaint about the gameplay is the +5 villagers boost shows that it lasts for 1:30, but the +5 disappear after only 30 seconds.
We have been playing for several days, and we are really enjoying it. So far, all ads have been optional. Thanks for that!
Dont buy the no ads item. Its a sham. Wasted basically $4 to get rid of the ads, which it doesnt doesnt even work. We still get ads for everything. Its a scam. One star until we get what we paid for.
We’ve played games with tons of ads and this one is by far the most annoying out of ALL the games in the App Store. .5 seconds into the game there is just offers and offers and offers and planes flying and animals roaming for a ad to boost something half the screen is covered in them its just ridiculous Im out.
We would say the graphics are cute and the gameplay is pleasantly idle, but we cant. You can hardly see the actual gameplay through the barrage of ad-playing buttons and advertisements for in-game benefits. We get it, you have micro transactions! Dont waste your time. Its just another Advertisement Skin.
A few days of playing this and forced ads start showing up with a $3.99 option to remove them. Nope. Avoid unless you dont mind throwing money at it or being interrupted via random and often ads.

We purchased the No ads, we wanted to support the game and we liked the art. But it did nothing. Plane still gave ads, cow gave ads, pop ups on the sides gave ads. This game is a scam, dont waste your time or money on it. If we could get a refund we would. Shame on Apple for not doing more to keep predatory apps like this away from their consumers.
You basically watch ads for the majority of the time you open the app.

Rating 5 stars. Content regularly being added. There are ads, but 0.99$ to get rid of them is more than reasonable. Like the context of the game and look forward to future additions.
Baked in ads worded as offers. Eventually they will lock your ability to play until waiting on a timer to be ABLE to decline purchasing in app progress. Another failure to greed.
