We never write reviews but this one game really deserves it since its so well done. We discovered this game a week ago trying to get more into puzzle games and boy did this blow us away with well everything. Cant wait for strange case 4.

Love this series. The story is great and the puzzles are fun but challenging. Our only small issue is that there needs to be more cues on what to do next either contextual or verbal. Like during the part in the basement in the operation room, it was a little hard to follow imo. But really good game overall(:.
Overall we feel the game is much shorter than the first one – we were very exciting that we got the super power back and then the game ends not long after this, which made us quite sad. There seems to be much potential to carry the story further – we would hope to see more interactions with the psycho friend, or more tension with the doctor. The game control seems better – at least theres no things-too-small-hard-to-click problem. There are some excellent puzzles, but in our opinion there are one or two puzzles we dont quite get the logic (yet we were lucky to get it right.) Used 1 hint in the entire game. Saw some people complained about chapter 3 – we found if you accidentally enter the wrong ending, just close the app – it will be at the last state. (we thought there are multiple hints that the game is designed this way, and we dont think its reasonable to blame the game on this.).
It kinda seems like they took ideas from the Rusty Lake games, put it in their own game and called it theirs. The music also sounds a little bit similar. And this second game (Asylum) has almost the same concept as The White Door. With keeping him in the room, him being claimed to have something to do with the alchemist ( as Bob has his memories with Laura), etc. Dont get us wrong, this game is nice as well- a little hard to understand sometimes- but still fun overall. That was just an observation (and reason we only gave it 3 instead of 5 stars). ALSO if you havent tried Rusty Lake and like games like this, YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY PLAY THEIR GAMES AS WELL!! .
This was such an enjoyable game. We had been hoping youd make another for years after playing strange case 1. The art style is perfect, the game is challenging without being outright impossible. Thank you for this creation! Its been much enjoyed and if more come out, Ill be right on those too. Great job.
We love this game so far its really good and has amazing detail, but , it is a bit hard.
This wasnt as good as the first Strange Case. We appreciate that they added combining items, but we wish they kept the items on the right side of the screen like in the first game. You also dont get the alternate vision (shadow?)until much later in this game, and barely use it. So its overall not as unique and fun as the first game. The most annoying part is there are multiple endings, where it basically ends early if you make certain choices. We dont mind the alternate endings, but give us the option to just go back one step and make a different choice. Dont make us redo the entire chapter. Redoing puzzles Ive figured out already is aggravating and unnecessary. We dont even know the full ending to this game because on our 3rd redo of chapter 3 we accidentally walked upstairs again and Im not doing it all over a 4th time.
Quality is way different then the first game and we got pretty upset because we were almost done with chapter 3 and we hadnt even fully closed the app , we switched over to another app but this one was running in the back and when we went back to the app it made us start chapter 3 all over again ! It was just not worth going through almost the whole thing again so we deleted it.
We played the strange case 1 & 2 Honestly we have to say if u like these type of games u should play it we loved it really Not that easy games u think habibi . U wont regret it cuz we didnt.
Revision of our one star review, the bugs that previously prevented you from being able to complete the game seem to be gone, but there are still some small ones scattered about (the phone in the final level: if you enter the correct number then go back to the phone, the first digit you enter will trigger a message about it being the wrong number), but overall the game was enjoyable. Kinda wish the ghost vision was in more of the game, but we guess it makes sense narratively.
Super cool plotline and makes the player exercise a bit more common sense and independent thinking to learn what method to use to do the puzzles rather than how to solve the exact problem. Aka very good.
Great game overall! Loved the first one and preordered the second one as soon as we could however im having trouble with the gear part it doesnt seem to be working and the hints dont tell us much so Ive not been able to complete it but it is a great game and we will continue to play until we pass.
Cant move past the first part and hints arent helpful. Oh well.
The last game in the series was pretty solid and this one is no different. The puzzles were challenging but still made sense, even if we did get a bit stuck in the third chapter. Its story is a little more coherent but Im still a bit confused about the last game. Cant wait for the next one.
It was good. But way too short compared to case 1.
There is a small visual bug when you get to the part where you have to pour the different chemicals into different tubes until it's all one chemical (also in chapter 2). If you go too fast the image of the tube that is pouring go to the wrong spot, and it looks a little funny with the chemical pouring out of thin air and the tube somewhere else. This does not affect the gameplay, though, as the chemicals still are it to the right spot. Overall we really enjoy this game, but a few bug fixes are needed before it can be as good as the first one.
We beat the game a bit too quic and now we need a 3rd game! Please make one soon!!!!! Thanks.

Ive had to start over 3 times now because the items werent spawning because we skipped a step unknowingly. This game is good but has a lot of bugs. If you miss one little thing, you have to start over from the beginning.

We dont see how anyone can finish this game without using hints. Many things just dont make sense how you would figure that out on your own, for example they randomly throw math in there with zero indication youre going to need to do math. Even then sometimes the hints are not helpful, showing you only the result and not how you get there.
There is potential here, but there are too many bugs. If you use the wrong inventory item, or fail to use them in the proper order, you can never get to the end. If you stop before the end of a chapter, often re-entering the game requires you to start over at the beginning of the chapter. More frustrating than fun.
Maybe im a nerd but we love these puzzle games like cube escape. The game is just a little spooky and the puzzles make us think hard.D-riding these games, we proudly watched the ads to continue playing hope theres more games to come.
We are stuck on one part could you please add hints but they have to re-charge that you dont spam it and you can disable them too would be a really good idea the reason we are saying this because Im stuck and Im not done with the game yet.
We love these games and im usually not one to write reviews or anything, but im genuinely stuck in the first chapter. Im not sure what im supposed to do. We got out of the first room and into the doctors office but im stuck. We dont know where else to go because its all locked. Someone help us please.
Loved this game and the previous. If you love escape rooms and a good story with a creepy vibe this is a great game. No purchases necessary, though you can choose to donate a small amount to the creator in place of a few ads, and you can play without wifi. Found the first game a few days ago and played through it quickly and was pretty excited to see the sequel just got released. They are fairly short which stinks, but Im already very excited to see what happens next to the protagonist in the 3rd game. Loved the story and puzzles! Good job LabeledMan. Cant wait for the next game.
The game is a great sequel to the original but Im writing this review because the good ending is impossible to achieve on mobile since in low section of the room on the bottom right station where you need to undo the screws the top right screw is impossible to get as our iPhone thinks Im pulling down the Notification Center. Because of this we cannot unscrew the final screw and cannot complete the good ending.
Most of the puzzles were engaging and fun. Only issue for us is that the soundtrack is just one song on loop, which gets very repetitive. One of the items (hotel keyring) is glitched and appears in inventory with the title item.trinket.
Pretty challenging puzzles. Very short though. We loved your first game as well and we ordered the second one as soon as it was available for preorder. Finished it in a few hours. Hope there is more to come.
