Sandbox is the unlimited sequel to our Strategy & Tactics: World War II. We’ve abandoned historical restrictions and turn limits making your task deceptively simple – take command of any European army and lead it to victory in World War 2.
You can recreate the actual politics of the era – or not. For instance, as Great Britain you could side with the USSR to crush Germany – or you could disable the historical alliances and lead America to conquer Europe…
Random events like guerrilla movements, landing operations, and voluntary recalls will ensure endless replayability and the uniqueness of each game session. You’ll be making your own history!

A creative layout of war tactics. Highly recommended for fans of the Axis and Allies board game.
Terrible at playing the game but we still love it.
We have had it for 2 days now. Couldn’t stop waking up to play it.
This game is truly amazing, we’ve had it for years now and it’s basically the only game we have on our phone.
Every time we press load/new game and the tutorial the app crashes.
Started out great but it a day in the ads start hot and heavy… Which would be fine if it didn’t crash every other turn. Would 4.5 stars but playability severely hampered.
Game is fun but can’t do anything due to ads and crashing constantly now every time we try to play it crashes…
We couldn’t play the game. We tryed to load the tutorial but it just closed us out!! This game isn’t that good because of this. We have an IPod 5 and it won’t work.
We love this game so much we can’t stop playing it. We’re so glad you guys came out with a update it’s been to long since the last one. We have one problem with the update. Whenever we try to look at our achievements it just gets stuck in the loading screen. If you guys could fix that, I’d be extremely thankful.

We usually hate games we play but we just can’t bring myself to give this game anything but a 5 star.
Great game, lots of fun. If you like risk or strategy games you’ll like this. In app purchases aren’t required.. But you may find removing ads and adding Asia down the road worth it. We’ve been playing for over 2 years without a purchase but now considering ads and Asia. Great updates so far! Areas of improvement: Diplomacy. You can’t make alliances and in some scenarios it’s way to hard and impossible to win without in-app purchase of resources. -Negatives- 1) ads are really annoying 2) the very few impossible scenarios.
Listen, this game is actually good, but needs improvements, patches, etc. *When you disable alliances, and play, as soon as you attack, everyone attacks you and the game goes to crap. *Needs a proper political system *Include all continents on the map, because America isn’t located in Africa… *Whenever we surround enemy division(s), It should be easier to kill them *Add in a manpower system, or something. *You should be able to form your own alliances, or have the option to join other ones, but you should need a good relation. Okay, that’s it. Most of this sounded dumb….
Deleted this worthless pile of crap for the last time. If the developers don’t want to write a game someone would want to play, then to hell with Herocraft and to hell with their apps. Previous version of our review: This game is astoundingly complex, amazingly well programmed with very few bugs, and provides a great variety of choices every turn. Unfortunately, it CHEATS. We don’t like playing card games with cheaters, we don’t like playing board games with cheaters, and we don’t like playing against a computer opponent that is deliberately designed to CHEAT. If you MUST have it cheat, at least let the player turn it off so that it plays fair by the same rules the player has to follow. We love most things about the game, but we’re always right on the edge of deleting it in a rage at yet another cheat it did. This would be such an awesome game if only it didn’t make us furious all the time. Is THAT how Russian chess players are so good? When they’re about to be checkmated, do they reach into a bag and put nine queens on the board for their side? Would you want to play chess with a computer that did that?? Deleted app, but we’re starting over on the theory that the cheating is probably based on our ‘level’ – we’ll try to beat the Turkey scenarios BEFORE Romania, with a 16 income per turn, gets to buy 7 bombers on turn 5 and 10 elite infantry on turn 6, since it’s obviously pointless to try afterward. We guess the only way to play this game is to make sure you lose more units than you kill, to keep the game from cheating against you later, right?
We really like this game, the gameplay is very interesting, but eventually it burns itself out. One idea that might make this game even better would be something like a map editor, where you can change the starting territory, armies, incomes, alliances, etc. That would be really cool and something we would pay money for.

This game is so entertaining and very strategic! If we were to pick only one game to play on this for a year, it would be this game!
This is one of the most addictive and fun game we ever played, all we wish is that there would be a co op mode, and a more save slots and lower the price to buy stuff. But over all great game!

We love this game it is awesome but let’s say your playing as America (my Favorite to play) it is very very hard to win or take Berlin or other important towns unless you disable alliances but if you don’t you are going to have a very hard time winning and we find it very unfair playing as America because it is very hard to win so please add a thing where you can add your starting regions that is all we need so please add it.
We love this game, but we just can’t figure out how to change alliances. It is never explained and we can’t find out online, and we really wanna try playing communist Germany and fascist France.
Great game but we were dissatisfied that it does not include the cough cough americas and all of Africa it would be so much more awesome if they created a huge world map.

Have played this game MANY times before. Had minor issues, but an utterly fantastic experience. However, we reinstalled it on our new iPhone SE and it will load to 40% of a game and crash. Please fix so we can enjoy this awesome realistic game!
We like it so far, there’s only one problem… Objectives are hard to find on the map. They are not clearly marked and some of the things are not explained in tutorial. We still don’t know what a few the icons mean.
We love this for one because we love history and because it’s semi addicted. But lately we haven’t been able to play since we got our new iPhone. What we mean is that after we try to load in as a country the game kicks us out of the app and it makes us go to our home screen. So fix please. But for a good game mechanic would be making a diplomacy system and have the option to not starts at war and to switch sides or go through allied lands and to earn income by trading with allies or neutral we think that would bring a lot more people also all provinces should at least give you 2 income cause some nations like smaller nations don’t make enough cash to survive two turns like Estonia Belgium and Chekoslavakia which should be making at least some money. And make the objectives like cities more noticeable and realistic. That’s all overall 8/10 just make more important updates not like the last one.
We just got our brand new iPhone 7, but our favorite game does not work. When we try to enter a game as any country playing any objective it gets to 40 percent loaded and sends us back to the home screen. It don’t understand and we have tried everything. We love this game and we are a huge WWII fanatic and this is our way to get into the action. After you fix this bug with the iPhone 7. Please add carriers with mid ranged fighter bombers like the Douglas SBD Dauntless. But mainly fix the bug because we Love this game.

We absolutely love this game. It gives a sense of freedom. It immerses you in the horrors and glory of war. Whether your running with you armies across the desert plains of Algeria or fighting alongside your brothers in arms in Stalingrad, this is a great game. But everything has an Achilles heel. Unfortunately if your territory gets too large it will crash. Please fix this so we can continue bulling through Nazi defenses.
So this all started yesterday. We started up our iPad to play our favorite game. But when we get to the point where it asks if you want to start a new game or load a save, no matter which one we press, it closes out of the app. We don’t know if it’s a bug or what, but we’re very upset. We’re to afraid to delete and reinstall because of all the saves we had, that they won’t be there, and because we bought the extra save slots. We just really hope it stops.
Honestly we get so addicted to this game. We would play it all day. It’s multi-faceted and versatile. True strategy game BUT it’s randomly closes so much that we want to delete it. We’ve lost our progress twice already. If they fix that it’s our favorite game. But just as we get really into it and have built a huge land area to defend it crashes on the loading screen. So annoying!!! It’s done this on our phone and our iPad. Please fix or we’ll have to delete and lose our empire.
This game is amazing, but ads pop out A LOT and and block the whole screen like every minute, also some times the add doesn’t actually come up it just leaves our screen black and it stays buffering… Until we have to close the game.. Please Less ads!
Please add an update so the player can change the alliance for its own country because it gets annoying that the AI always changes its alliance and the player can’t.
We love this game. But it won’t load the Asian/Pacific war map. It says it was successful. So either we need our map or $ back.
We do really love this game but seems to take a lot of battery and it’s hard to play even if your play half an hour or so. Please do something with these. Also our phone is game so hard to handle it. We are playing on iPhone 6 we OS 9.3.4.
