We like the game but some of the supposedly hidden words dont make sense, they invent words by adding endings compounds like able ment to common words making it an unrecognizable word as the definition is the basic word.
We love the endless hangman game and play it daily but cant find it in the App Store any more to download to other devices. We dont care for this game. You always end up losing. Who needs that? The hard option works great for us on the Endless version. Please bring it back.
We can tell when there is a change in either who creates the words list or that, at the very least, there is a change. Months ago this was a great way to wake up our mind in the morning. Then word usage changed to such specific choices of a particular bush found only in southern Australia or the particle found in the skin…. Etc. Currently the app creator claims to have cleaned up the word choices. Well, yes…. Word choice has changed. Outridden is technically a word but it seems they want to trick users instead of providing solid word choice. People with good vocabularies are put off when they get zero scores by not knowing words that are not used in normal, verbal discourse as relates to English speaking users.
This is the best hangman game we have found. The best thing about it is it gives you more chances to get the letters correct.
…. After enjoying Hangman for a long time, we encountered a very derogatory racial slur. Why?? Theres no shortage of words. Why condone by using such repressive language?!
Love to play. Some words are weird, but the game is thought provoking and addictive.
Game could use giving a hint as to the word.
Poor word choices. Many unfamiliar words. Lots of past tense (-ed) or gerunds (-ing). Rhumbaed… Really??
Too many obscure, non-English &/or archaic words. Too many suffixes added on to "create" a word. Bounces around between American and British English, which gets confusing. And tends to define a word with the word – hardly helpful. Still, it’s addictive.
Always a challenge when we want to take a break, or check our mental aptitudes ( for that particular moment). We love it and play far too often…. Could be choosing less productive endeavors!
Would be better if the words werent so far out. A lot of the words we’ve never heard of.

We really wanted to like this game. We were enjoying it with our 12 year. Unfortunately the words we keep getting are ridiculous. You cant guess them because they are most commonly used. We have successful won and by guessing yet we have had to look up up 85% of the words. If hard new words are what your looking for. This is the game for you. If your looking to play, have fun, and teach a pre-teen. This game is ridiculous.
Learning new words everyday. Very informative. We enjoy playing Hangman. Keep your brain active . Dig deep into your memory to extract the correct word.
This version is a very challenging version of hangman. The words are uncommon unless you work in a biology classroom, Medieval scriptorium or for Scrabble.
This HANGMAN is very challenging but without taking the enjoyment out of it. We have to admit, the words are not all familiar to us, making it more an educated guess on some plays. Im sure if you try it, youll enjoy this great game.

This app uses too many words not related to American English.
This version of the time honored game is great! We’ve been addicted for quite some time, and never seem to tire of it. The memory bank used always has enough new words that it keeps providing a good challenge.
Come on … Using words based on HINDI not even in the Dictionary or Olde English not in use for hundreds of yes!!. Also they make up words that have a base in english as a verb or adjective but do not exist in another form ie adverb, etc like "scrupling" from scruples :(
We used to enjoy playing this with our siblings. Now we dont have to waste paper to do it!!
Its easier to randomly chose words from a dictionary. Harder to chose reasonable words for your faithful audience. We have a doctorate degree and we can not figure out most of these words. PLEASE, MAKE A SECOND GAME FOR THE REST Of US.

This is a great game. We’ve learned the meaning of many words while having fun.
We think it would be a better game if there were various levels.
Having a category to give a hint saves initially randomly choosing letters and use turns.
This game is just plain good old fashion fun.

As a person who normally excels at English, we find that the vocabulary expected of the user in this game to be daunting. There are no options such as easy/medium/difficult. Some of the words are obscure and pedantic. These are difficult or impossible to solve. Neophytes and second language learners of English are sure to be flummoxed by this game.
Some words are too frickin’ rare to be reasonable hangman hidden choices. In a private game among friends, you’d be called a jerk for choosing them and your opponent would likely quit.
We totally agree that it seems these words are…… Ridiculous!! We have never heard of many of them and we know words. Its just no fun. Im surprised at boy howdy. We hope they look into this. Yuck.
Have had this game for several years, without any problems and we still love it. It is as much fun as the one most of us played as children but the words are much more challenging. This is definitely the adult version. We thought we had a good vocabulary but am continually learning new words with this game. When we do not know the word, we can click on the "definition" button and add it to our vocabulary. We recently had a problem with our iPad, which prevented our game from opening. At first, we did not realize that the problem was with our iPad and so we contacted "Boy Howdy". They responded quickly and even though it was not their problem, they took the time to help us solve the iPad situation and get our game to delete and re-install. This is an excellent game with great support!
Love the game. No time pressure and Is still a challenge. Can watch TV and play the game, even. What more can you ask for from a free game?
Like hangman. These gamemakers provide great support. We know many words (probably because we’re 82) but learning new words. However, in our mind there are some that are Scrabblebabble "words" – thus the missing fifth star.

We always enjoy opportunities to learn new words and this game provides those opportunities in a fun way. We especially appreciate the built-in dictionary, since it’s inclusion means we don’t have to go to our printed dictionary to look up those new words. Playing this version of the classic game is a great way to make use of those occasional moments when one is otherwise "indisposed."
Challenging game. Uses some obscure words, medical and scientific terms as well a the occasional British spelling, but is still quite addictive.
