This app isn't the greatest in graphics but is fun in the different challenges it has in game modes. The spin is the deal maker, most apps with great quality have the most unrealistic arcade like spin or lack there of, which is the whole skill of bowling. If the graphics were improved, this app would be a strike.

Strike is an excellent bowling app with fantastic graphics. We actually was blown away with how well the game works. The developer spent a lot of time getting the game to work as well as it does. The game interface was well laid out and the coding for it well written as we have had no errors at all. The only "bad" thing we have noticed is that every once in a while is when you didn't make a strike, a pin or a couple pins are laying at an angle where the pin should have fallen all the way down. Other times, when the ball hit a pin but it did not fall down and is way off the spot, on the second ball, that pin is placed on the spot and not where it it should have been placed. All in all, Strike is an excellent bowling app and we feel it deserves a 5 star review.
Fun on the mobile app. Also a lot of fun on Apple TV with family and friends.

Great sounds and graphics. It is extremely hard to roll a strike but that's part of what is great about it. There's no just figuring out the game and getting a perfect score every time. Bought a set of balls to see if they worked better but they seemed to work the same as the house balls. Highly recommend this game.

A very fun game. The touch mechanics are pretty good, although it would be nice to have a way to adjust spin/hook. Still, it's an excellent bowling experience.

This is the best app we have seen so far but could use some small improvements sometimes we get no sound after playing couple games overall it's a great app.
This is without a doubt the most realistic bowling, with the best graphics, and game play. We have spent way too much for bowling games that claim they are realistic, or 3 D. Most have fallen way short, but not this game. If you're looking for a great way to tune up your game…what better way than this game here.
We play this every chance we get. This is the most realistic bowling game we have found. Pin reactions are pretty close to actual bowling. Definitely recommend this game.
Great app. Could still use some work, but definitely the best bowling app we're aware of.
We bowl and we do alright our average is 153 we scored on here a 252 we always place our self on the same board mark when we throw it's always with a spin to the left after we got the 252 score it very rarely let's us have a turkey same mark same throw but now it leaves 1 pin up and we've never seen so many splits but in all we like it we play it a lot.
The game is pretty well set up like an actual bowling game. The only flaw that we can see is it doesn't give you much "pin action" when you are bowling. You have to hit the pins just right for a good strike. Sometimes even hitting the head pin just right gives you a nasty split to pick up on a spare. Other than that, the game is fun to play.
Downloaded the game to kill time during a recent trip, it did the trick, it was entertaining and challenging.
Love the game, it's even better when you play with others online.
We would give it a 5 star however it does not keep track of our scores or achievements. We tried several things to get it to do so however no success. We do enjoy it.
This game is challenging but there are times we should have gotten strikes but did not. Good game through.
It's fun but it's boring aswell when you can never get a strike no matter how perfect the shot is.
Very well done, just not happy that we paid for the game, so we wouldn't have ads running, but, we get ad masts and footers anyway.
If they would have added the ability to add more curve to the shot we think we would like it better.
This review is long overdue. We love the new Strike! We've noticed that we're improving very quickly. Before, we hit our best score and couldn't move past it. You fixed the ghost pins, the physics are more realistic, and we love the bright graphics. You nailed it with this new version.
So excited to have such an excellent version of Candlepin Bowling, the type of bowling we grew up with. Sadly, this type of bowling doesnt exist where we live so we are so happy to be able to play this version with our five year old son who really loves it. Worth every penny we spent on it. Also great Apple TV app.
Nice improvement! The pins arent that stiff like they used to be. The lanes seem super slick now.. Ball hooks like crazy when we swipe in a perfect straight direction. Love the new graphics and all the extra game modes. A few tweaks and this game is perfect. Definitely the best bowling game on here. 5 stars just for improving and updating this game! Thanks.
This game is really fun but it stops SoundCloud from playing while in the app.
There is one other bowling game that came out years ago called championship bowling that reviled all others at that time. Since then Strike has taken its place which we find to be the easiest to play and with most accurate ball to pin reaction. There are only two things missing from this game. "Championship Bowling" had the back ground sounds you would hear in a real bowling alley; music of the times (it had two time periods, the fifties and modern times), and various vocals from the house management. If "Strike" had those incorporated into the game, nothing would compete with it. Otherwise we would give it five stars.
This game is really fun we have to admit but the fact that we cant listen to our own music while we play annoys us. Its the only reason we dont play this game as much as we would like to. If your a developer and youre reading this right now we just want to let you know that if you guys disabled whatever is not letting us listen while we play, it would definitely put your game at 5 stars for us. Thanks.
We have enjoyed the new 10 pin updates on this app, however, having been a candlepin bowler all of our life we find the game here wanting. The pin fall for the game is pretty much 10 pin bowling with skinny pins and little bowling balls. There is little to no deadwood to play off of and there is no randomness of pin fall based on hitting track. Not fun and does not hold your interest.
We were able to throw strikes almost on command but now its all changed ok we can deal with it, but picking up simple spares? Cant throw a straight ball!!! We do like the additional games.
When someone gets out in the middle of the game, the credit you with the win and also asks if u want to continue. So you are bowling a real good game (thats why the opponent leaves) and you have a chance to improve your average. But…. When u r done, the marks are there, but no score at the end, therefore u cant improve your game. Very very frustrating if you have many strikes in a roll, and you cant continue to improve avg when opponent leaves. Going to try other bowling games. They shouldve left the old game before this one alone. We do like the not so long wait for another bowler. The last one was awful in that regard. This one is too frustrating.
New update is horrible, ball over hooks way to much. Cant throw it faster then all goes slower. Ball hits the pins like it weighs 4 lbs leaves a lot of splits. Wish they would go back to previous update.
Recent update has made it impossible to score. We'll put a clockwise spin in the ball and it will go to the left. It slows inexplicably and goes in gutter. Not the same game at all. Feels like a carnival game where the pins magnetized to stay up. We used to enjoy the game and invite friends to play.
This update is terribly inconsistent. We honestly dont know where to start. We have many suggestions though; more pin action, the ball just hits and deflects, the purchased balls should have different hook ratings, the graphics are honestly wonderful, BUT the gameplay just doesnt match with latest update, too many corner pins on pocket strikes, sloppy strikes on headpin hits. We bowl competively and this update disappoints us. Im sure your team can figure it out ASAP. -King, Peter.
The absolute best and most realistic game ever, minus the most recent update.
Ruined the skillz game w a new update. Right when we were all having fun and tons of games going through . Now its like 20 percent as busy as it was if that . They need to switch back the game play ASAP if they want to keep any of there long term players. They need to do it like now before every one leaves and stops playing , Horrible game play . It was 1000 percent better before.
Why would someone totally mess up a good game. You ruined it!! How about a reply from developer. Totally ruined the game.
We used to play this game a lot with local players. Looks like dropping Game Center support also meant losing local function. Well, another game we payed for and really liked bites the dust… Bye.
