Very much in the feeling of axis and allies. Pay the $1.99 to remove ads. Its well worth the 2 bucks.
We love it an we beat the whole game.
Great game! But, we would like a multiplayer game on the scenarios ww3 and better dead than red and some others. Other than that, Great game!
We have a ton of fun playing this game and find that it is extremely immersive. One addition though may fit our likings even more. Maybe a mode (for this game or the sandbox version) that allows you to play as one alliance as a whole, to avoid the CPU on your own team cutting you off. A post-War mode where you set what countries are involved, who their allies are in a totally unscripted and freely moving map would make the game much more unpredictable and force you to adapt every turn to meet your objective.
We are clicking the button to buy premium but nothing happens please help/fix this we love this game respond quickly.
We love the game but needs some improvments 1 Nazi flag on germans troops. 2 Need to be able to use any enemy supply centers. 3 Troops need Better Hp bar, and be able to move every unit by its slef. 4 Need to add Fuel needed for troops.
Not a bad game if you know the tactics to use, pretty good game, since we passed the third level Ill prolly buy full version, we rate 4 stars because you can only play the first three levels.
This game is amazing! Its very fun, and we love how there are missions for countries. However, if there is one thing we could change itd be adding in some sort of diplomacy. Its rather lame (no offense) that a WWII game has no form of diplomacy. Declaring war on nations and having peace treaties really make these kinds of games fun. Not to mention relations and other factors dealing with diplomacy.
Is this just a remake of your sandbox war and tactics? (something like that) It seems just like a copy and paste, even some of the game preview pictures are identical After reading your response: Same plot, but by that you mean you have to pay to play solo for a decent country to have fun with? Sure, you can say plot, but you can also say pay-to-play.
We decided to buy a supply pack when we started playing this game. Shortly after, the supplies we bought were gone. We bought the full version of the game thinking maybe it was just a glitch on the free app. Bought a cheap supply pack this time and restarted the level we were playing. Supply pack once again disappeared. Dont play this game! They will just steal you money.
The game is a lot of fun, but your allies will start to capture your territories and fight against your forces. Not sure why the developer did not add a restriction against attacking allied forces into the game. Very disappointing! Took a second look and could not find anything about turning on or off unions. Checked settings and game setup and we did not see it in either. Would love to take another look if you can give us some help on where this is located.
Great except the online mode doesnt work for us.
This game is great and a lot of fun. We like the strategy it takes to complete the objectives, and no limiting factor of completing a mission within a certain amount of time(Thank You!). Speaking on the objectives, we find that we should have the option of completing all objectives in one play through for each country you choose to play. We find that each game takes a while, so it would be nice not to play the same country over and over again to complete all of the task.
This game was awesome! We love how it works and the controls are simple, we just wish you could do more stuff such as joining or making an alliance or have nukes. However, a few days ago we bought the map for Asia which cost two dollars. Then some sort of glitch happened where it deleted all of our data and everything we bought or unlocked. We literally had finished development for the USSR and was this close to conquering Europe. We were a bit upset, but the main thing was that the Asian map that we bought still hasnt given us our money back.
It was ok but it was a little too hard,I think you should put a difficulty level but just an idea.
The missions we played were really challenging which we love but once you beat those you want to move on. But the problem is the cost, (me personally) we dont think that there should be one or two extra free missions before someone would MAYBE buys it.
This is a good strategy game first off dont complain it is hard it was made like that to give you a challenge! We like how the creators made this game it is good and fun to play for free time! Plus it is no Junk or a Scam It is real! Okay the creators of this game have other games you can play on like World war 2 or Medieval wars those games are awesome! We love this one the most though its all about strategy and defense.
We dont get when your playing against bots but cant change anything and its way to hard!
The Spanish and Italians have more military power than the USA.
First off, don’t expect to master this game on your first play through. There is a learning curve and the game can be rather difficult, but that’s why it’s so fun. It took us a couple of play throughs to master the game and the game is still very fun. Money well spent. Also, the game is not pay-to-win. The only reason to spend money in-game is if you aren’t willing to put the time into actually getting good at the game. The learning curve is what makes it fun. Don’t buy resources! Just practice. To Herocraft’s credit, they fixed a lot of the issues we were experiencing with this game. The two expansions used to crash upon loading, but they both work now. The bones of this game are very good and it is a fantastic play through for a strategy fan. Consider purchasing one of their newer versions, but we do recommend contacting their customer service if you have any issues or before purchase. They have been very prompt and helpful with any issues. Definitely a five star game for gameplay, depth, and replay value.
The game is great, fun, and interesting. We’ve played countless hours on the sandbox version of the game (which we suggest getting in addition to this). Our question is, is it possible to play multiplayer? Or is it just for the deluxe version of the app? And if it is for this version can you play between users of the free app and the paid app?
We’ve played some of your other games, like Strategy&Tactics Sandbox, and the Medieval War game, but this is our personal favorite, because you play small (yet pleasantly challenging) levels through a campaign. We call the levels short in comparison to the Strategy&Tactics Sandbox game. In the sandbox game you are given very few objectives to guide you, and it is much more challenging, depending on what character you choose. In Strategy&Tactics if you choose USSR you have quite an easy time surviving and meeting your objective. If you choose to play as Latvia you will die at the hands of the USSR immediately. We enjoy this game because it uses many objectives to guide you and it also uses common terms that most people know, such as how in level 2 or 3 the game tells you to blitzkrieg, to strategically bomb enemies right before rushing them with troops, tanks, and other armored vehicles to catch the enemy while they are dazed to deal a fatal blow. We can’t find anything else to say at the moment, because we’re tired and it’s around 4-5 AM where we live, but to the developers, if you are reading this, 1. This is one of our favorite games under the category of military strategy games (my absolute favorite category of games), even though the first military strategy game we played was Risk, which we also enjoy does not compare to this, both because they are so different, and because this is so much better. 2. We know you probably won’t, but we will ask, considering your WWII Strategy&Tactics franchise/series is so popular were you planning on making a WWI based Strategy&Tactics? We know it could be hard to integrate trench warfare into the feeling of Strategy&Tactics, but our idea is that trenches will act as normal provinces, but they will be extremely fortified, and split so that two trenches will be in a province. Germany and the other central powers will be the only ones allowed to buy mustard gas at the beginning of the game, so they will have the advantage over trench warfare in the early game. Britain and the allies are the only ones who can buy tanks, but Germany can salvage allied tanks after battle and reuse them whisper "and maybe German technology branch could include the ability to dissect and learn how to build tanks" wink wink. Germany should have zeppelin which are invincible unless a province is conquered while the zeppelin is in the airport there, or they are hit with a missile from a plane. We don’t know how you would make Austria-Hungary as bad as it was in the real war, but you could try. Also make it so that part way through the the war the Russian civil war happens and the Bolshevik controlled provinces do not attack the central powers. Other than that we don’t what else to say because anything else would be too obvious to add.
Since we cannot restore our purchase of the Full version of the sandbox game ill write our review for the Sandbox version here. First off let us start by saying this app is amazing. We bought the full version and downloaded the free version to try to unlock all countries. We eventually did unlock all playable countries. We had a lot of trouble figuring out how to beat Poland’s objectives and had a lot of fun trouble shooting and strategizing on how to conquer the world as Poland. For anyone with trouble as Poland, Czechoslovakia, Holland, Yugoslavia, etc just relocate your armies to Spain and work from there conquering Africa. Then work your way into Europe by invading Italy. After you subdue Italy you should have enough power to conquer the weak points of Europe. Now unto the the task at hand. We would have LOVED to see a political option in this game. This would include allowing the player to join a faction at the country selection menu. Playing as the Soviet Union in the Axis or France in the Axis would allow more replayability and would make the game feel different with an alternate history twist. We don’t like how nations join factions at random and if a nation is non aligned it still joins the war. This doesn’t make sense. We were also wondering if you guys over at herocraft would be interested in working on a WW1 version of this game? You could include Asia Europe and maybe even Africa or North America (US vs Mexico). We’ve always wanted a map based ww1 strategy game on IOS and we believe other people would play good money to play that game as they did this game.
We want more DLC maybe a German invasion of the USA with Japan kinda like man in the high castle style and we would like to play Russian invasion dlc with the two player mode.
It takes a bit to get use to but it is fun to play.
We fondly remembered the lad board games like Blitzkrieg and was astonished to find this game. We are in love with it (sic). Highly recommend it!
As other reviewers have said it takes some learning in the beginning but it’s fun and has logistics issues in the game which is fun and realistic.
We were looking for a game that reminded us of an old PC game we used to play, Conquest.
Fun strategy game. The symbol that shows you can’t build troops at a factory needs to be added to the in-game info. Took us a bit to figure out that’s what it meant.

Not bad… But to expensive for a basic game like this.
After the tutorial the game is mere impossible. We couldn’t get past the first map. The game was interesting and challenging just too challenging.
It takes a while learning effective strategy but it’s not too bad. Just won first battle after several tries so now we’ll see if the game gets better. Tips: block off retreats for enemy, always maintain a retreat for yourself and guard your Air Force by keeping them at least one province behind the front.
We got this app about a week ago and it was pretty fun until we found out the full version of the game is 8.00$ and not to mention the additional in app purchases,if you don’t get the full version you can’t change any setting on online gameplay or when you play against the ai you also get only three missions of the story mod. The developer should lower the prices but until then DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Hello! We remember playing this game all the time whenever we were simply bored with nothing to do or on a long car trip, but now it seems to have stopped working. We’ve looked at replies to other reviews and have seen where you guys say that you are either technologically incapable of fixing the issue or we see that you guys are working on it. 2 years later, is there no estimate or have you guys given up on the game? It pains us that we will never get to play a game like this anymore and we can’t even find anything similar on the AppStore. Thank you all for the good memories we had playing this great game, but we really want to be able to play it on a new iPhone. Thank you!

We used to love this game until we got the new iphone 13.
We used to play this game a lot when it first came out and played it for years after that. This was our favorite game we have ever played on the iPhone and nothing has come close to it on the app store. We are begging you guys to add support to the new phones. Our love for this game will never go away and we hope that one day we get to play it again. We might go and buy an old iPhone or iPad just to play it.

In the next update or game will you at least add something like allies and axis units are able to move into there teammates land cause that means moRe REALISTIC.
Because of it storyline and scenarios, but paid campaigns ruined it , free missions can be completed in one hour At least make other missions unlockable with playing or something like that…(for example ads) And in sand box tactics clear way to unlock all countries and Asia map , because there is hundreds of missions and unlock Asia map is impossible Please read this feed back and make game easy to play.
We tried to buy it and it did not work we got our refund at least but we didnt get the in-app purchase can you fix this? We like the game though. Edit: So we bought the purchase for 7.99 and then when we checked too see if we unlocked anything,I didnt unlock anything! Please do something! Im not trying to be rude… But still,I love This game!

A fun game we’ve played on older devices, but it doesnt work on our iPhone 13 due to the resolution not being supported.
This game has potential and is fun to play but needs improvement. US starts off with a serious lack of funds and separated. We have no idea why they start of with having 4 units in Egypt. Its useless and historically inaccurate. Also the bottom half of North Africa should be given to the US so that they can link up their armies. England starts off with with a dismally small Army, Air Force and Navy. Needs to be increased. Russia starts with the most favorable conditions but this game is made by a Russian company. All we ask is that its starts off more historically accurate. Also being able to travel through a allied country would be nice. As for research it would be nice if armor and aircraft have their own line instead of being combined. Theres more but these are the main ones.
