We love this puzzle due to the brilliant colors & ability to put the numbers in the margin. Unfortunately, the timer keeps crashing ..no time on board. This is a nice feature & we continually try to beat our time. So, we have to delete it & download it again. Pain in the butt.
This has been our fav sudoku app for a while. But it recently developed a glitch on we think the easy level or the gentle level where the timer doesnt start sometimes. And when that happens your record is permanently in the top 100% of user and you cant reset it without deleting and no the app and trying again from the beginning then you do it again because it will happen again. Other than this glitch the app was great. But we had to delete it.
The game itself is great. The ads are loud making it unsuitable for quiet entertainment.
It's still our favorite Sudoku app. We paid for add free version years ago and we still love it to this day. 5 stars always.
We love this app. You can pick how hard (or easy) you want it to be. The layout is beautiful. It has everything you need to make guesses that don't count against you while you're figuring out what number fits where. What more could you want. It does have some advertising in between games, but so far they aren't obtrusive with loud sound and it's easy to "X" them away. The addition of sound was a bad idea for us. There is no option to turn the sound off. Out in public, we have to turn the sound on our phone off and it might take several days for us to remember to turn our sound back on.
Very responsive app and pleasant to look at. Our only complaint is we were trying to cut screen time for our eyes and do pen and paper Sudoku, but this app is pleasant. Oh, well.
This is the best free version we have found!!!! Ply it way too much.
We are adult wife an mom so we have difficult time learning things with numbers we can do checkbooks and bills but this game is amazing we love it we do wish you could make more easy picture way rules and have one for just simple game for those of us who struggle we like search words and we cant do crosswords but we were taught a little by a lady who recognized the reason we have trouble no one ever picked up on this so if you could do that it would be awesome thanks.
Our main gripe is that there is no option to turn off the autocorrection. It doesnt let you make mistakes. Thats not fun. Its a super beautiful accomidative version of a classic and we love it for that, but it needs to let us make mistakes if we want to.
We tried to find a pencil icon to make the number bigger but we cannot find it.
The X to close ads sometimes will not register a tap/touch so one cannot continue back to game. Only way to get back game is to turn off device a restart.
Video ads ruined our favorite game. We play it at night and we need it to be silent.
The variety of difficulty settings are great; we can feel successful with a quick win or after tackling a tougher challenge.

We have had this game for years & its our favorite game out of any Ive played.
We enjoy playing Sodoku more than any other game but we particularly enjoy this version which easily allows us to do the challenging ones when we have time for them and the gentle ones when we really want to challenge ourselves on speed. The colorful display after completion of the puzzle is an additional delight,.
One of the very few game apps Ive never once deleted from our phone. The interface is clean and easy to use, and the app has continually improved over time. Honestly the best sudoku app on the app store. Purchase the pro version and play all you want without any interruptions or prodding for microtransactions. Amazing for situations without internet access. One of our favorite apps for airplane rides.
So enjoy playing. Very relaxing. Seeing both numbers and colors we believe works different parts of our mind.
We love this game. Very addictive. Our only qualm is that we wish they would flash your score up after a game before they go to an add.
We really enjoy playing sudoku and like that there are the different challenge levels. It fits our many moods..from a quick fast easy (mostly) up to an involved deep puzzler! Something for everyone, every Time.

We like the colors and the game play is great! The hard levels are very hard as well witch we really like, lots of fun.
Best Sudoku game Ive played. Really enjoy it. Like the ability to change levels easily and enjoy challenging ourselves through our times. Is there a possibility of a level past expert? Like insane? Our best time in expert is under three minutes, so up to new challenges.

Love the game very good for focus on visual and reflex and the using or non using of them. We went from 8:20 tp 3:08 in five trys.
This is the best sudoku game we have played from the App Store. We have tried about five sudoku games on here and this one by far is the best! Great puzzles, from easy to difficult, assistants while playing sudoku with colored/lighted numbers to help you where the number(s) you are looking for to fill a block and graphics and colors are amazing! Thank you for a great sudoku game! FINALLY!! Oh and it's worth the $1.99 to upgrade the game, you get all puzzles and no more ads.
Our favorite game before bed. Always go to color sudoku. Love easy to expert options and color adds some fun and optional way to play.

We've played this game for as few years now (free version). We've been thinking about upgrading to the "pro" version because we play it so much. This game is well built, and we've had no problems using it.

This is by far the best Sudoku game Ive used, color makes a huge difference as well as the ease of use.
This app will make you a better sudoku player. It uses a different color for every number which helps one to quickly see which numbers are present and which are missing. The app records puzzle times for completed puzzles and ranks you among all players for each difficulty level, compelling the competitive spirited players to constantly try to race the clock. Penalties are assessed for committed mistakes and the mistaken number automatically removed from the board. This saves some frustration and helps to keep scores more consistent. Other themes can be applied if you don't care for the rainbow, but we recommend giving it a try to see what a help the color can be. We've played this app for years now and have yet to find one that is even nearly as entertaining.
This is by far the best sudoku game! We love the colors. The puzzles are challenging and its fun to see how you are doing compared to other players.

Great adaptation of the famous Game. We play it in EXTREME MODE every chance that we get, in order to clear yet challenge our mind.
There are video ads after some games and the audio overrides whatever you are listening to on your phone! Not cool. Otherwise it's a fantastic app. If their audio didn't override our audio we'd def give this app a 5 star rating.
Why would we go looking for another sudoko app? We like this one.
Black background makes it easy to look at, colour-coded numbers make it easy to track progress. Updates have given us more options for gameplay.
we agree 100% with Mysteries4 above. Also, we love the 2 keypad system, but it only works on our iPhone. Loved eliminating time PENALTY. Thank you! We still like the timer though for pacing and exercising cognitive flexibility.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the double keypad? It says to turn it off. Turns itself right back on. "Use pencil". No pencil anywhere. We. Don't. Use. It! Rarely on a difficult one. Then we can get it back. For a right handed person, we have to reach across to enter numbers. So very irritating. Please help.
We really enjoy Sarah's game. Once we had completed all puzzles, we were able to reset the game and enjoy them all again.
It is a good game. The colors helped us to figure out the game. The new colors for 8 and 9 are too alike so hard to distinguish. Thanks. We always recommend your game as the best.

We've got a few sudoku apps, but this is hands down our favorite. We especially love being able to use both colors AND numbers at the same time! And the colors are so pretty <3.
