Simple format. Good games. Closest app to the newspaper. Best sudoku app of several we've tried.
Only thing we would change is the back button. The swipe up motion is really lame and doesn't always work. Just make it a regular boring button.
Best board layout. Works with latest iPhone software OS (10.0.2). Superb game options.
Love this game. We're on the Hard level now and it's still challenging.
Having switched operating systems as well as devices a couple a times and gone shopping for other Sudoku apps, this one still prevails as the best and most functional. You could be picky and want more functionality suited to your personal wishes but let's get real here… In the days of yesteryear If we didn't like how the pinball machine was playing we simply went to another machine rather than contacting Bally or whoever and ask for a redesign. Our only observation is that we have begun to recognize puzzle versions in repetition, perhaps we are playing this too much. Maybe some puzzle versions need to be added. However, still the best Sudoku app out there and more than well worth 99 cents for the ad free version. Lastly, when we switched to another OS, we received immediate and excellent support for our questions. Thanks guys.

We really like this game. We have played this for years and it is our favorite Sudoku game.
We have used the paid version for years. With the paid version, you are able to see the game timer and you avoid the ads. There are many options for how the game displays the numbers. We like the ability to use bold numbers and colors. You can use as much or as little help as you wish. You can gets hints and validate your progress.
We love the layout and it is very easy to use.

Great layout easy to use for Matt and several levels of difficulty.
Sometimes we break down and have to have a hint and we would love to know what it is doing or a playback on the hint or why or slow it down or keep repeating what it's doing so we can learn. Sometimes it just throws a number in there. We would also like a non penalized validation of the cell markings after they are all filled. Sometimes the puzzle gets very full of guesses and it would be nice to learn how to interpret all the pairings.
It lets us get right into the game at the desired difficulty in one tap, and works like we expect it to.
Great Sudoku app. We use others but always come back to this one. (we don't rate apps normally).

This is the best sudoku app we've ever had. We've tried others and they just don't input as well. Only app we've been playing for 3+ years. All our other apps we've gotten tired of. Not this one.
We played this a year or two ago and then we got a new device and a different version of sudoku. We did get used to the other format, but after finding this today we recall how much more intuitive it is.

This the best format for playing we have seen yet.
We're addicted to Sudoku. We've tried many apps, but this one hooks us with the timed games that report how we did relative to everyone else that day. We used to do cell-first entry, but found there was so much extra poking, we've switched to digit first. We used to use the free version, but some advertisers got enragingly insistent, switching us off to the App Store repeatedly so much so that we couldn't place a number anymore. We're temped to lower our star rating for allowing that, but better that we pay for the app and be done with the ads. We're bummed that our history didn't follow us to the paid version, so we'll offer this advice. Use the free version only long enough to conclude like we did that this is the best Sudoku app out there, then switch to the paid version so you don't lose so much history. Should they lose a star for that too? We think not given how much we use this game.
