We still have the great original Super Crossfire on a 1st gen. IPad, and now we have this on an iPad Pro which enables us to play it with SteelSeries Nimbus controller. It’s a simple game that requires minimal strategy and is primarily good for hyperfast exciting hand/eye coordinated play. We played it too late the night we got it and couldn’t sleep at all afterwards. But when we want to play a super stimulating game with near strobe effect psychedelic colors, this is a great, fun game. It’s a real plus that you buy it and own it and there are no ads and no attempts to get you to spend more money. In an arcade you’d be out of a dozen quarters in no time but that’s all you need to buy this game.
This makes us remember so much about this game! You used to play it in the Roku version, lovely to see it in we pad. Beat it in a single day! Thanks for the memories!

It really is an old school arcade shooter but slicked-up a lot. Smooth play and up-dated graphics make for some good retro fun.
This game is legit. Developers pretty clearly spent allot of time making it as playable and addictive as possible. We paid 99 cents. At that price you might as well be getting paid to play. Great game.

We gave Super CF a lot of thought since Im not too crazy about this genre but it certainly turned out to be worth it. The game is very stylish in terms of music and art style. Theres lots of content and levels but dont expect a wide upgrade system since the game is not meant for that. Instead, its meant to be a premium fast paced action shooter. Definitely recommended for techno fans!

Really fun gameplay, nice graphics, no IAP, amazing.
Just get it. It’s worth it and perfect for killing time.
But having fun in the process. The game is easy to play and fun like a classic arcade. This feels like a remake of a classic that never actually existed. It’s such an obvious premise to warp/jump from bottom to top and back, yet we don’t know of any game that had a system like this. Beyond the simple gameplay is an RPG element that gives the gameplay depth, a staple of Radian Games. There are a lot of options and levels, which keeps the simple gameplay from becoming boring. That gives it an element of exploration, despite levels being linear. Watch some videos and try it. The good reviews are well earned.
This game is awesome, it’s got a lot of chapters and difficulties for those chapters, once you finish the first five then it’s time for the darkness chapters. It’s even better with an iCade external controller. Definitely worth the $2.
This is an amazing mix of galaga and their own original twist.
We love it, fun and addictive gameplay. The hook here is getting to switch your ships shooting direction from top of the screen to the bottom. This is not only a great idea but works smoothly with a one touch system (thanks for including the ability to change the control setup). You get plenty of upgrade options, great retro meets current gen graphics hybrid. The only thing missing is iCloud support so we can keep our progress across devices…

This game is sick! Slick graphics, good controls (mfi support even), awesome music, and all on a fancy space invader style game. What’s not to love!
The swipe control scheme works great. The game runs completely smooth on our iPad 4 and the looks and sounds wonderful too. The gameplay is a perfect balance between being challenging but not frustrating. All around awesome arcade game fun.

Fun game. It’s good looking, good ( but not great) controls, and very hard. You will play many levels over and over again. Almost as good as Inferno 2.
We’ve enjoyed it thus far… On chapter 3. We think it would be great to have different ‘special’ weapons though.
This game is reminiscent of geometry wars, or super stardust hd. Lots of bright, shiny, explosive graphics with great audio to match. However, unless you’re the kind of person that enjoys playing for high score this game can get old pretty fast.
