This is just a great game. It takes the basic mechanics of Tetris and adds power up style blocks that can be strategically used to clear multiple lines. One of our favorite games; if you ha e not played it yet, youre missing a great gaming experience.

We see a lot of people saying that this is a good Tetris clone but we honestly think that this game has enough differences from Tetris to be considered a altogether different game. We really enjoy the mechanics of this game because they reward you for setting up moves ten fold. Its so satisfying to watch all the pieces fall in to place winning you that huge score.
Slydris 2 only similarity to Tetris is the method of clearing lines and the fact that pieces fall from the top, thats all. Unlike Tetris this game has gravity, something Tetris does not have. For example: In Tetris when you clear a 2 lines with a T-Block turned on its side causing all but one of its parts to disappear, what happens to the left over piece? Does it fall down the well, or does it remain floating in place? Its the later, Tetris pieces float, Slydris pieces have gravity which can lead to combos. This gives it a Puyo Puyo like feel, but without any rotation. Future more the game allows you to serval options, from moving pieces near the bottom or at the top of the grid, or the new pieces coming down. This game is great, it replaced 1010 as our go to app when we feel like playing something on our phone. We like that are several strategies for earning points and staying alive. We like the several color schemes that can be shuffled once you unlock them all. Most of the Ads can be skipped after five seconds if youre too poor to buy the game out right for three dollars. Theres a little X button that appears after 5 seconds. We also like that the app can save our progress and we can switch from speed mode to classic mode at any point. We like that it actually has a functional leaderboard. Here some things that could improve the game further. This would be difficult but if there was a next screen so the player could see what set of pieces are coming next would be very beneficial. Or perhaps one to three, reshuffle buttons players could use if they dont like what appeared at the top of the grid. One or two undo buttons would be nice but Im not sure that would work if a move ends the game. An undo button is helpful if we accidentally slid the wrong piece. Add a day mode or a screen thats white rather than black, we use the invert feature when its too bright around us so its easier to see. If you are looking to develop the game further you can add themes with backgrounds other than black. We love black its our favorite color but you could add a sky, and a landscape in the backgrounds too. Lastly if you could add a page to where players can understand the scoring system, thatd be nice, we have a basic jest of how to rank a lot of points but Im not entirely sure. Anyways its a fun game, 5/5.

We never understood why everyone was addicted to that dumb game Candy Crush, glanced at it, but too much going on for the eyes, but this game here is PERRRRFECT !! Colors, music, and skill is perfect . Thank you Developers . Im 42 y/o, in an exciting very well paid career and this game has our attention for brain muscle working out. =.

Sometimes there are games that define a genre. Sometimes there are games that improve upon a genre. This game definitely has done both, in our opinion! We remember when we'd be on our Gameboy as a kid and play Tetris and be so mesmerized by fitting little blocks together. Even in highschool, when we'd be done with school work, we'd play some Tetris online on the school computer. Now, Slydris takes Tetris and but a simple, but interesting twist and we'll be damned if it isn't better or just as good as Tetris itself! The graphics are gorgeous and each unlock-able skin is neon eye-candy! The unlock-able music tracks are also wonderful as well! The only thing we wish is that there was more options to spend our gems on. More skins/tracks/modes would be very awesome to see! We have two things we'd like to see in the game. We'd like the "drop" button to permanently be a part of the game, and we also need some "T" blocks! Other than that, Slydris 2 is a wonderful, addictive game that is beautiful, yet fun to play. It is definitely worth 3 dollars to get rid of ads, hands down! Looking forward to putting more hours of gameplay into this game and will be enjoying it for a while.

Paid the 2.99 to remove ads. They arent bad at all but wanted to support the good work. We only try f2p so good choice going that route.
The reviewers giving low stars are idiots, plain and simple. First off, its NOT a Tetris clone! It has some similarities but the gameplay and strategy are completely different. If you play it like Tetris you will have a bad time. Second, if you hate the ads, delete the app. Giving it a one star is stupid, because the game is amazing. We bought the no ads version because we actually have more patience than a goldfish and could see it was totally worth it. That said there are some things that need improvement. First, no idea what the skill level settings do. Doesnt seem to change the game at all. Second, there needs to be an option to skip the easy early stages like you can in Tetris. Once you get good these slow early stages are boring, even in timed mode. Finally, would be nice to have the option for other shapes. These get boring after while and would be nice to spice it up with some T shapes or long Ls etc. But overall we keep coming back and we love that it saves your game even when you shut down the app. Totally addictive and fun.
A highly addictive and challenging game. We quite lose track of time once we get started.
Slydris 2 is really fun and addictive. We like the fact that you can play in short bursts between doing other things. But, we find it hard to put away.
There are some tweaks, like getting to turn blocks or scoot into areas on a move, but overall a good new twist on the Tetris puzzler kinds of games. HUGE issue with ads interrupting DURING an active game! Just for that itll never be 5*. Never drop ads in the middle of active play, Holy crap is that an infuriating thing.
We wish there are different color options and patterns that we can pick or choose our colors for free.
We loved it at first but now Im feeling like there's something wrong with the app. The danger signal starts up too soon and there's still room at the top. We can't do any where near as well as we did 50 games back.

Before snapping away the gems, user should have an option to preview the color scheme. The crimson color just burned our eyes and also took away 200 gems. Fix it.
This game is original take on Tetris-style games but the 30-second ads every couple of minutes are aggravating. Meh.
This is a really good game ruined by terrible and intrusive ads. Ads that interrupt game play are a very bad design choice and should never be used. It's a shame since this is a fun and interesting game but the ads soured the experience.

This is a great line clearing game with lots of energy. You control the pacing so thinking and strategy are important. It should be five stars. But we hate their ad methods. Right in the middle of a game they take over the screen for a 30 second ad. We dont like this ad delivery model so we uninstalled the game.
The game is fun but the amount of ads is ridiculous and its part of their scheme to make you pay for removing ads. We paid over $400.00 on our tablet. In all honesty we wish we would of bought a android. More free games, less hassle, and better apps.apple took away great apps from the new thin air generation compared to the last model. Our mistake and its sad cuz you know apple doesnt care for their customers. Otherwise they would remove the ads for us but not going to happen.

Cant flip pieces? Why would you make a tetris game not as good as tetris? Blocks can only slide left and right.
We thought this was just going to be like Tetris but its WAY too hard and the tutorial doesnt really give you any helpful insight to strategy or what makes the game different from Tetris.
This is a good game but we Was constantly interrupted by Advertisements Which is very very annoying and tiring making the game unplayable for us.
Its a cool game concept, but being colorblind doesnt help and no point to playing.
1) gotta buy the unlock to get fewer adds. 2) no matter how high the score cant seem to break rookie mode! You get one move to make the choice To go further or crash but the game keeps leaning to the side you cant seem to get to! Play it safe dont get High score. Play it hard and you dont seem to get what you need to make the connection. Game was fun at first now its annoying.
We loved this game from the get! But this last update needed the gams, it was so simple to jump back into a game. Now a new menu appears to choose difficulty and adds one tap too many. And on top of that this new update made the game not fun! Its as if the difficulty selection doesnt even matter. Its no longer a game of skill but a game of constantly staring at the top of the screen and managing what just fell…please fix it. It was perfect. Why mess with a good thing.
Since paying to get rid of ads the game doesnt seem to be playing fair. Lately it far from random. Played 2 games in a row and had about 4 tall pieces rest flats and Ls. Makes the games very short. And its dropping pieces at various amounts even at low level. Fun when we first got it and very addictive. Now we dont play very often. If you have no chance – we can find something else to play.
This game doesnt give the player a decent chance to figure out if it is worth spending money on before the ads start. In our first game we were interrupted twice, once by some annoying woman who woke up our dog.
You can go for a while before you got the adwall, but you will surely hit it. Deleted after first ad. Might be a game there, but we will never know.
Really fun puzzle game that makes good use of touch controls. Feels natural rather than constrained. Music is done well but we usually play silently. Well worth $2.99 to get rid of adds. We need more games like this.
The gameplay is smooth and puts a fun twist on Tetris-like gameplay. We were playing without sound for a while and then we heard the soundtrack and we knew this game was our go-to time waster. The piano on the first soundtrack is awesome.
It's a blitz-tetris styled game, which is fun for everyone who can figure it out. The gameplay is rewarding and smooth, the soundtrack is awesome, and the blocks falling every move gives it a challenging tint. It's obvious that some people can't figure it out, huh.
Its a good game that Ive enjoyed alot, but theres this annoying thing about it. It crashes like a million times while youre playing. So you have to start over again. If the problems gets fixed, the game would be awesome. Please fix it soon.
This is a pretty good Tetris clone we enjoyed playing it. The only thing we find irritating about it is that it shows these ranks at the bottom of the screen and theres pretty much no explanation of experience points or how the ranks work. We would enjoy the game much more if it had experience points and a level up system that works regardless of whether you lose or win the match.
Being a fan of the first title, we were ecstatic that there was a sequel(we were like how can they improve one of the greatest mobile puzzle titles ever). And they did! Superb visuals, an wonderful soundtrack, that feeling of just one more game turns into HOURS. Do yourself and this excellent dev a favor-download this(what have you got to lose-its free!) By the way the ads…if thats the small price we have to pay for stellar gameplay then sign us up.
Another beautiful game from Radian. Nicely done. Fork over the money to get rid of the ads, you wont regret it.
This game is by far the worst iteration on the Tetris formula. The pieces fall instantly and you have to deal with more than one piece at a time, so after a few drops the screen will be almost full. To make matters worse, trying to adjust previously dropped pieces to clear lines causes new pieces to drop, giving you no breathing room. Not recommended, play that EA tetris game which is way better than this.
Considering the tuff to improve genre, Slydris did it very well, taking a classic game Tetris and making a harder yet more satisfying game to play. Then they come out with Slydris 2. Improving visual quality of the 2 dimensional shapes that slide so well into place it gives you goosebumps when they click into place then dematerializing to give you a new high score. Great Job Radian.
