Really love it. We would recommend ultratus version if you especially gonna start in hard mode. Dungeon kits really helps.
This game is so nostalgic from when we were a little lad, and this the the only mobile game we can play for hours.
The game is amazing! A walk through memory lane and is better than we remembered. Tons of fun and worth it in the long run. We ourselves cant afford to buy the whole thing so Im stuck with the demo but to the rest of you reading this we HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING IT because the challenge is fun and makes you think your fights and dungeon crawls more as well as the many MANY things to buy and collect theres never a dull moment in this game of chance! Maybe we can one day afford it but for now Ill just replay the demo over and over.
Room 5,10,15 are boss rooms in the dungeons. 3 times now when we go into the room the lever spawns underneath the boss. So when we move there it only give us the option to switch the lever, which we cant do until we kill the boss. But it wont let us agro onto the boss because the switch is there. So im just stuck. Please fix this. We love this game played it when we were a kid so happy its on here, spent the money to play it more just nneed this fixed.
Great game, we recommend you install it! We used to play swords and sandals when we were younger and this brings back memories. For us to be able to play swords and sandals wherever we are! Really fun just wish we didnt have to pay to play the entire game! Its worth it to play the entire game though! Great game overall! Definitely a 4 star if it didnt have the purchase, also we do feel like there can be some more adjustments to it, to kind of make it a more fun experience such as making it a 1gb game for some other stuff added such as being able to roam around the city and tavern. If this was added though, it would be a huge game, and probably around call of dutys size game like in gigs. Probably 4 or 5gb would make this easily possible. Doesnt even need to be like that just like to be able to roam the stores like the menu thing to buy stuff, then to be able to click on it and be put into a 3D game like the dungeon! This would be absolutely insane and a game changer.
It seems that every time the game freezes up after we defeat a gladiator. So when we go to restart the game it gives us the option to start a new game and does not have our previous gladiator. This has happened 3xs on this game and once on SAS 2. Even after the upgraded purchase to continue playing.
When we try to descend in any dungeon our character just disappears and doesnt go farther into the level. It happens in every dungeon and we can only go back to the surface Edit: Ive encountered another bug where the gladiator keep just doesnt show up. And the cloud background is the only thing there. The only way of leaving is closing the game entirely. Ive gotten as far as we can in this game without being able to descend farther but now Im stuck. Id like playing this game and would like to finish it especially since we paid for it.
Cant beat Hypogeum level 10 boss because its on top of the lever.
Spent over 30 minutes trying to find rats for the 2nd quest really boring dont waste yo time.
Why defeat lumberjack our screen always black.
The only big problem we have is after we defeat lumberjack it gives us the dialogue as if we defeated big moo and the whole save crashes and we have to start all over.
So basically After defeating the third champion. An ad came up. After that ad came up we closed it and then the game bugs. Our best character gone because every ad doesnt let us exit. We did try restarting but now its stuck on a black screen. Please fix our game we swear. Ive worked really hard for our character. Thank you.
We really like this game. However, our game will no longer load. It wont let us play our current character. We dont really want to restart so we hope this is fixed.
Beat the tree boss arena champion and the game black screened. If we restart and load the character its still a black screen. Fun game but some bugs make it literally unplayable.
So its sword and sandals, what more do you expect? Well we honestly expected a lot more. Swords and sandals 2 is our personal favorite of the series, but since the whole game for S&S 2 is pay locked (dont worry Ill make a review for that soon.) this had to do in the meantime. Ads of course arent bad, but it gets to a point where it gets worse…. WAY. WAY WORSE. After the first arena champion kill the ads somehow bug out the entire game. Now what do we mean by that? Well the ads appear after every time you lose or win a tournament battle. Now why is that a bad thing? Well something strange happens when this happens and it will make or break your entire game when it does happen. The ad pops up right on the victory or lose screen. And will actually bug out the game somehow into either not bringing up the return to town button prompt, or just not leaving that screen at all. Yes. The ads literally soft lock your game. And the only way to get out of it is through closing the entire game and waiting 10 seconds for the intro bull crap to play through before you can get back to your current progress. Its pitiful. And its not like it has a rare chance of happening, no no no, this happens every time you win in the arena. And the logic as to how this happens make no sense. So we guess go ad free to avoid this? Which means you have to pay to avoid this glitch, right? Sounds about right. Pay money to avoid the mistake of the developer. Well after that salty note, the only redeeming factors in this game is the game itself. Its a very immersive story with great characters and even greater quests. However. That doesnt save it when a glitch to continue the story of the game will make you want to tear your hair out of your head for when it happens. Its sad and pitiful.
Had to hard quit the game after every arena battle when we had ads. Doesnt get boring very quickly.
We paid for one of the subscriptions but now that the update has come in it says that we havent paid for the subscription and we were wanting to play the dungeon crawl but now we cannot because it reset our payment towards our subscription.Besides that though we absolutely love this game its a great game we just need our payment fixed to where it shows that we have paid for a subscription.
Its okay we got ultratous mode and never got our armour.
For some reason after level 20 the game wont show items in our inventory icon whenever Im in the dungeons.
We love the game. We didnt feel pressured to buy the upgrade, but we did anyway to support the developers. The thing we noticed is that when first starting the game, the privacy button at the top right seems to be almost entirely cut off. We can still press it, but it makes us feel as if Im missing some of the screen area. We havent run into any problems because of it, just thought we should mention it. A couple spelling errors. Also when in the dungeons, it seems really hard to accurately choose where to press. Tapping on the actual square we want to go to does not work, its like we have to aim an entire extra square in that direction to move where we want to, which makes traveling in the dungeons kinda irritating.
Okay we bought the ultimate pack bundle and its not loading in what do we do great game tho.
So we love Swords and sandals played it since we were little but in this app we got to like level 27 and then when we went into dungeons our item bag didnt work and we couldnt use torches thus we got killed by grudars and the grim reaper.
We could play all these games all the time, just wish theyd put the rest on the mobile platform, theyre so great.
These let us relive our childhood!!!! But once we get to a certain part of the story everything glitches and it doesnt let us move forward w the story… Only if this was fixed.
We enjoy the game, but its absolutely Firestone in the dungeons when sometimes the squares just cant be clicked. Ive tried everything, and just some levels we cant go deeper because it cant click on the door. Id love if yall could work on that.
We grew up on this game and it brings back so much memories. Even though there are some minor bugs, it still holds a place in our heart. Keep up the great work.
Everything is great except that when we got to the frozen cave and cathedral the sentinels and dragon boss dealt damage straight to our health while we have over 2k shield points please fix.
We cannot tell u how many infinite fights Ive gotten stuck on because they regen health like tf dude why is that even a game feature and it force closes as soon as we click start on some right but for the most part this game is fire.
Overall we like the game and the idea and am a huge fan of the series, but maneuvering in this game through the dungeon severely needs a patch we think maybe for new phones or something. The squares clicked on are inaccurate. (Played on IPhone XR, some of the screen can be cut off at times as well).
The game was a big part of our childhood! Its great to see that it was converted into a mobile game. We didnt mind the dungeon part of the game and there were a couple bugs/ typos here at there. Overall would highly recommend to friends interested in this genre of games because this franchise has done extremely well over the years. Saying that, we did have some major issues with the game… Some of the quests definitely felt like chores and the ones where the player was required to fork over copious amounts of gold for convoluted quests were infuriating!! One bug/typo we encountered while playing was when the player is required to pay 40,000 gold to HeChaos for war funding. At the time, it was a lot of gold for the level we were at!! And then later the game said that the payment was only supposed to be 10,000 gold…. Some of the ailments encountered such as vampirism or poison were so punishing while in the dungeons we ended up avoiding those features all together. The arena champions being animals or monsters was kind of a let down for us as well, we were hoping to fight those unique formidable gladiators that the games are centered around. There were other little things here and there but once again this game was fun and amazing aside from all the problems and we wouldnt take the time to write this if we genuinely did not like the game. The last major complaint for us is THE COMPLETE LACK OF VALUE AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE MAIN STORYLINE THERE ARE NO MORE QUESTS NO MORE BATTLE PIT BATTLES NO DUNGEON FREE-ROAM WHAT AM we SUPPOSED TO DO WITH MY GLADIATOR AFTER EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED AND we HAVE NOTHING LEFT.
Wanted to get into this played sas since we were a kid. Started an archer and its impossible because theyre ranged only. Bought the full version of the game made another character after giving up on the archer and the first fight is over 300 turns now because they set the health regeneration so high.
We didnt expect much from this game but we feel like the fact you have to constantly go into dungeons to fight arena champions is really annoying, its also the fact that the combat in the dungeons is really poor, you cant move around so if you are running low on mana or health when fighting an enemy youre done for. If you could just do the arena fighting more than the dungeons we wouldnt be writing this review.
Ive created 3 different characters and at around tournament #10 the game crashes and stays frozen and will not continue. We own an iPhone XR and this is obviously the apps issue. Its a shame because we absolutely love the game to death but am unable to continue.
Loved it. The only thing that would make this app better is if they had a player vs player mod, that would put it on a new level of addicting.
We find the game very fun and humorous but we're having some kind of weird bug to where the game crashes whenever we try to leave the dungeons.
We like this game but its was online why you removed the online mode.
As much as we love this game, and even if we grew up with it, we wish it'd have more features and less bugs. Also we don't really like the dungeon exploring, because our favorite part of the game was fighting in the colosseum. We think we'd be better if the exploring was optional and not required for quests.
The most addicting game youll ever play but we cant get outta the dungeon so we cant face the third arena champion plz update soon we love this game but we cant get any further.
We hate the dungeon darkness! We couldnt see anything! We want an update where the dungeon darkness is removed! PLEASE make that happen or we cant even get past the first arena.
The dungeo doesnt progress to the next floor it just freezes.
Great game. The game still has some bugs tho, which the dungeon possesses at trying to enter/leave the steps. The dungeon also has another bug which is you cant click on some floor tiles for your character to move around:/.
Fun game pretty buggy right now tho.
Homestly, this game is just S&S2 with two extra, extremely bland and buggy gamemodes. It needs much more content and fixes for it to even be considered a stand-alone game. Don't get us wrong, S&S2 was great, but we're wishing we didn't buy it twice.
