The game doesn't work anymore. This was an incredible game. We had recently gotten a bunch of giftcards and calculated the amount of money we'd have to spend in order to get to a certain VIP level, only to find out that the purchases weren't working. We contacted support and they said the game is being taken down…? We're so confused, we loved this game. Now we can't even get past the loading screen when you open the app. What is going on.
We can only play the game on Wi-Fi.
Tales of Yokai is a Gacha idle rpg with a focus on instant gratification. There are so many systems and implementations that you will find it addicting and hard to put down as you can progress at rather quick rates before things start to slow and the grind becomes more gradual. Ive played a lot of mobile Gacha games and Ive only seen about 3-4 like this one. A heavy component in a game like this is knowing how to effectively use your money. While technically free-to-play, games such as Tales of Yokai offer you many many deals and tons of cash shop options. Some people can be quick to label this as pay-to-win, but it isnt. Its part of the strategy of the game, how to utilize the deals most effectively without spending too much. Honestly, thats part of the fun. While there isnt much story or depth to this game, It does involve a lot strategy and if you know what youre getting into, its a good time sink.
As a fan of idle games, we think this game is very good! Some of the yokai in it are so cute.
This game is completely for those who f2p. Help us kill our free time. The graphic is nice too.
Every time we try to start the game it keeps telling us that it cannot connect to server even though we have internet.
Its overall not bad the 3d style is something to get used to but lots of free/cheap stuff and a cool feature of doing many battles at once example arena, campaign, bosses, tower all at the same time.
Just wanted to ask a question, am we the first review.
This game is fun but our current experience with trying to log in and getting stuck on a pop, is why Im not giving it a higher review . But we hope all the bugs get fixed and this game thrives.
We had a good time at first but then the shikigami trial came up and it wont let us do anything can you fix the bug please.
We like gacha games and we dont worry too much about spending money on a game.. But this game has too much stuff going on. We do have a problem of clearing all the red dots next to things we need to do so we felt a bit overwhelm when we log on and theres so much to do! We felt more like it was a chore instead of enjoying the game. Other than that we guess its alright. Some ppl may feel more engaging with so much stuff to do, just not for us.
Game only seems to work when Im at home on Wi-Fi, doesnt ever work on our 5G or LTE.
