This game is literally so cool. We just reached Fort Kearny. We think thats what its called. Its very good though. Its a good good good good good good good good game so far we’ve been very impressed. We love it so much this game is it anybody agree with us please.
The Oregon Trail is a wonderful game that brings the past to us via screen. Its accurate, its beautiful, and honest? Pros: Accuracy, gameplay, mini games, wagons, peperony and chease (peperony and chease is actually a thing in the game, although how its correctly spelled is Pepperoni and Cheese) Cons: What time stuff happens.
This game is so good! We highly highly highly recommend this app. This is an epic game for adventure lovers and story choices. The developers who made this game have our full respect ! We are addicted to this game!! We play it every day for like5 hours!! We love how its constantly updated and always here for fun. This game is our new favorite! Visually stunning we loved the original and we love this one even more. We would recommend this to anyone who loves a game of choices and surviving because in this youll have to be smart with your choices to beat this game and survive.
We usually am not a fan of mobile games they have to many adds they feel mindless and cheap but this game we genuinely have enjoyed playing so much the graphics are stunning the dialogue is lively and captivating its not a pay to win and there is so much to the game to explore the gameplay is fun and entertaining we’ve literally sat and played it for hours which we have never done with a mobile game we dont write many reviews but this game was genuinely really incredible so we needed to share.
Loved this game as a kid! Even more so now! Wish it was a available outside the arcade so our friends could play it too!
This game is super fun but there is one small glitch. In tall tales if you tie and do a rock paper scissors you lose. Even if you did something like rock verse scissors and your rock you lose. Please fix.
We got to fort Kearny, with 1 traveler!!
Went through the demo, which was great. Selected our team and logged in tonight to play the first round. App had forgotten the players we selected, and every time we tried to exit the app so we could try to find our original team it automatically selected someone for us without any other option. No point playing with zero agency?
Apple has completely ruined the game by allowing political bias to determine how the game is done.
We dont care how good a game you might have made. As soon as we got to the title screen and we saw you were talking about the indigenous peoples perspective we were done. You found a way to ruin one of the most iconic games of all time. We didnt think that was possible but good job.
This is just like the old Oregon trail that we have always loved but this one has many scenarios and is improved in many ways. So much better then any game that has tried this and failed miserably.

We love this game. Probably one of our favorites asides from Cooking Mama! A suggestion Id have is to add a Character Refresh option so we wont get stuck with people we dont want in the beginning. Also Id like to see more girls with black hair in the options because we want to rename them and put our name in! We think a good idea would be to add pets too. And if you buy horses, an exhausted character could ride one to restore stamina, while dogs can search for various random items scattered around the trail. We know a lot of people who traveled the Oregon Trail also had cats, so those could help with fishing too. Id love to be able to cook meals for our characters. Or have more interactive bonding events between them all! These are all just suggestions which we think would totally enhance the experience, though. The is game is super great as is.

The depth and quality of this game is on par with a computer game.
Playing the OG version as a kid, we can say the modern version is nearly everything we want it to be. The gameplay is surprisingly deep, its much more educational than it used to be, and unlike the old version.. We didnt live simply to hunt.. Instead in this version, you hunt to live. Dont like murdering four legged fur monsters and murderous birds? Instead you can fish, and subsist getting all your meat that way if you wish. We love the varied character traits and backgrounds to the characters as well. It makes the game connect deeper as we play. We dont really play app games that often, but if Im flying from Oregon to DC.. We can flip this game on and the flight seems like its only 40 mins long. Nice job, development team. We adore this game.

We’ve loved this game since we played it back when we were in middle school (a long time ago) and had been wishing we could play it again some day. Its back & its better. We love it even more now that they have a new Texas version. Im so happy that theyve added our home state to the game!!!
We’ve only played a short time, but this is honestly the best love letter to a classic series. We grew up playing many hours of the Oregon Trail, and this just feels right. So thank you! Thank you for giving us a chance to feel nostalgic without frustration of playing the old game!
We love this game! We picked up the original online and thought- this is a bit simple! But then we found out it was on Arcade, and discovered our new favorite game! It includes perspectives from all sorts of people who were impacted by the Oregon trail, including tribe members, people of all races+gender, and people with different backgrounds! For example, one person might be an emigrant, while another has lived at Fort Kearny all their life and joined in along the way! Our party is all women, and we love the fishing and packing minigames! This whole game is a beautiful, puzzling, and modernized version of a classic game, and we would recommend this to anyone!

Im planning on replaying this over and over.
This game is the cream of the crop for Apple Arcade, and learning how to play and tackle its challenges- even more with the fairly frequent updates- is a lot of fun. Our only current issue is that in more recent updates the art style for character portraits has changed pretty drastically, and its somewhat distracting, especially during conversations where old and new characters interact. The original portraits are quite lovely and match the rest of the game beautifully, but if the current artist has a different style, perhaps updating them might improve consistency?

Love this game. Obsessed with. We think we’ve found a bug tho. We have an exhausted ox and tried going to the pasture for exhausted animals and our party didnt offer for us to stop. We thought this was weird when we would select the pasture and not have any exhausted oxen and they wouldnt acknowledge the stop but we thought it was just cuz our oxen were fine. This time we really did have a tired ox tho and they didnt stop.
We’ve been playing for a few weeks now and we love this game. Its a refreshing take on an old classic, adding many features while staying true to the original.
We personally think this game is really fun and enjoyable. One idea we have for the game is that you should be able to be a pioneer with you family/group and travel west. But thats pretty much it and overall we love this game.

This is an awesome game and we can play it in the car so we like that we only wish you could design your own avatar and pick the traits and we would also like if you could make your character a kid. We would be very happy if you added that.
