Description
The Swords of Ditto is a compact action RPG that creates a unique adventure for each new hero of legend in the relentless fight against the evil Mormo. Explore a delightful but dangerous overworld, brave menacing dungeons, and improve your hero in a charming village, during your quest to overcome the evil that plagues the island. Unleash the mystical Sword of Ditto for an unforgettable adventure filled with delightful characters, extraordinary loot, and heroic battles!
Unique Adventures Linked Together: Each adventure becomes its own legend, both distinct from those that came before it and part of a heroic legacy that bind together. The deeds, successes, and failures of each hero’s adventure have implications for those that follow including the ability to find weapons and recover loot from history’s fallen heroes.
Weapons, Items, & Stickers: Wield the traditional sword and bow combo alongside the decidedly less traditional vinyl record Frisbee, magic golf club, and colossal foot from the heavens to put Mormo and her legions back on their heels. Collect and equip stickers to boost up your hero and add perks to their gear to become powerful enough to banish the wicked sorceress.
Main Quests and Secret Side Missions: Approach your legend however you see fit by battling through dungeons in any order, completing side missions through dark caverns and deep wells, or confront Mormo right from the start for the ultimate challenge.

… And thats for better or worse. This is a fantastic game and the artwork is beautiful. Its a great format for mobile play too, due to the nature of the time loop and adventure style. If youre a fan of Zelda, and rogue-likes, youll love this. We will say, the touch controls need an overhaul for movement. It feels finicky and unnatural. Maybe an on-screen analog? It also feels a bit slow. Lets hope an update fixes it!

This game is just the right mix of adorable and fun. The story is quirky and has a nice sense of humor, too. If you like Zelda and other 2d adventure RPGs you will love it. Its got similar gameplay elements but with its own funny twists! Im not sure why people dont like the controls, its perfect for mobile. Maybe they arent used to the virtual joystick… This game also costs way less on mobile than on the other platforms (steam, ps4, switch) which cost $14.99. But its the same exact game on mobile.
We have to say we were very pleasantly surprised when we first started our way through the tutorial. The visuals are really amazing for what they are and very smooth. So far the game seems great, our one grip is the movement feels a little… Off? Like moving in a straight line feels really slow but strafing and moving diagonally feels closer to what we would expect. We gather that Ill adjust as we play on though. Fantastic game. Definitely worth the five bucks.
Positive vibes for this game! One of thee FEW & BEST games out worth the price. The game has a old school Legend of Zelda type feel with a new school twist. Great graphics and nuances in the game play the various toys aka weapons you get to use & power up to defeat enemies as well as different characters you can play from badges you collect along with smooth controls and game play should be one of the best games of the year! #YOUGOTAWINNER.
Well worth the price, this AAA title feels right at home on the iPad (I use a first gen Pro). We also use an mfi controller and have had no issues whatsoever. This fun adventure game has a quirky sense of humor that reminds us of Double Fines games. This publisher has released some great games and we hope they continue to do so (and not make them Arcade exclusive). It follows standard troupes with you being the silent hero-type, going into dungeons for loot and leveling up until the time comes when you must face down the big bad, Mormo. There is a slight time element to the game but we like that. It keeps you from dawdling for too long and balancing between exploring and completing quests. The game rewards success with more challenges and new areas. Our only wishlist item would be if it could have coop multiplayer, we dont know if thats possible on the iPad but if so that would be fantastic!
The animations, the gameplay, and the art style all fantastic.
TL;DR – Buy this game. Its the best mobile purchase youll make! Graphics: Beautiful with excellent animations! Soundtrack: Superb quality! The style is both retro and modern at the same time! Gameplay: Tight, responsive controls! (Especially when using our Xbox One controller) If you enjoy old school Zelda, this game will make you feel right at home! Youll have plenty of tools and upgrades at your disposal to play the way you want! Story: This game pays homage to the games of yesteryear. The story is straightforward and it just works! Youre the hero who must slay an ancient evil! If you die, another hero takes your place 100 years later. You dont really need to know much more than that, but you can always read up on the lore if you want. This is probably the best game we’ve ever played on a mobile device. This is the kind of game we grew up on and we really hope they make a sequel! EXCELLENT JOB, DEVOLVER!!!
We love this game, but we want to play this game on controller. We connect our ps4 controller, but we couldnt control it. Does it has to be a specific kind? If not, can you please add ps4 controllers on.
Why we love this game: Well its simple. It plays like a top down Zelda game with a Twilight Princess feel to it. Of course its different in many ways but its so fun to play and a joy to look at. Has alot of replay value and Im sure thats done on purpose Im loving this game so far now off to year 300! Great job devs!
Normally, a game like this would call itself free while holding progression hostage for real cash. If not, it wouldve most likely charged a subscription directly or through Apple Arcade. THIS GAME IS BETTER THAN ANY APPLE ARCADE GAME AND ONLY CHARGES YOU $6 ONCE!!! Watch the video, read the description and buy the game! The ONLY thing we would ask for will hopefully come in future updates and that is MULTIPLAYER! We really want to play this game with our wife and son but as of now… No multiplayer. Huge thanks to the devs on this one! Youve answered our prayers with a game that surpassed all of our high expectations. We’ve enjoyed Devolver games before but this game is pure premium perfection!!!

If you liked SNES Zelda and looking for a good game to play with a controller, this is it. People complain about the touch screen controls, but we had no problem with them as well. The game has its own charm and uniqueness to it, that just makes us want to keep playing. Been at it for about a week or so now, beat mormo twice, got a lot of the badges toys, legendary stickers and whatnots. The game has depth to it. Its a longer game if you manage your time right on the overworld. This is our first review ever, just wanted to say it was def worth the download for us. Only thing we would add to the game is that you could sell stickers or items to someone or anyone for some kind of currency. Hope to find more game like this in the future.
This game is amazing all it needs is iCloud sync so people can move from iPhone to iPad. Apple needs to force devs to include this in every game. Its frustrating that if we want to play on our iPad we need to stick with it instead of having the flexibility of using our phone while on the go and the iPad when Im at home.
So we bought to que this game up into the line of titles we want to play with the new Mfi controller rotor riot controller we got, well it snuck up on us, we now play this game every night, controllers are nice once you get down the speed of attacks and so forth, and the RPG elements, leveling, skills, so forth…. Well Im a sucker for it, and the art and music is amazing, we have the kazoo song Stuck in our head, well done devs, you created a gem!
Please fix the way the directional pad works feels a bit wonky.
Just bought this game for $6 and it wont open… We click it and it goes through all the title screens then force closes…

This is our favorite mobile game by far. We have really high standards for dungeons crawler games, and without a doubt this game met our standards. But we just want to say that if you fixed the save file deleting bug and made the controls a little bit better, we would be really happy. But nonetheless, this is still our favorite mobile game.

So, we were looking for a new game to buy that we could get engrossed in. We saw this app and watched the trailer and decided to give it a shot. From the first couple of moments, we were already hooked! This game is a piece of art. Everything from the visual, to the technical. The gameplay is seamless, no lag, no glitching. The artwork is just beautiful. The storyline is fun, and it reminds us a bit of Zelda in a way; which is a huge compliment. If you are reading this you need to just stop reading right now and buy the game because these devs nailed it.
Have to agree with everyone else here and say this game is really great. The controls make us want to eat our own face, yeah, but great game besides that.
The controls of this game are just annoyingly hard to try to get used to and this NEEDS a joystick type controls because the ones in place are a major turn off for a lot of players also the majority of bad reviews are from save bugs that probably need fixed so its not the core gameplay that has the rating so low.
This is easily the best Zelda-like game on the App Store. The graphics are perfect, gameplay is fun and the story is quirky enough to not leave you bored. However, we hope the joystick gets fixed soon, it needs a larger dead space or something as it is currently way too sensitive. Also, iCloud support would be great so we can swap from iPad to iPhone. Other than that, this game is worth much more than the asking price!
This game is so fun and very creative with everything in the game. It brings us back to playing legend of Zelda. There are several glitches in the game yet and am hoping for an update to fix these bugs.
Legend of Zelda + LSD = Sword of Ditto…… Nuf said Edit 1: played a couple days and had to come back and leave an update to our review( FYI this is only the second game out of hundreds that we’ve come back to update). First let us say this game is 100% worth every cent of the asking price and honestly even more…. Its a console quality game with everything from graphics to story to mechanics etc. That are beyond 5 stars…. And quickly let us address the other reviews complaining about the controls/walking-they r either idiots or have a super obsolete phone/pad cause they r as dialed in as the rest of this masterpiece… Basically if u want one of the best if not the best game of this genre-then buy this game-u will not b disappointed.
It good. Us like. But to be honest its a really good game but its easy to get swarmed with enemys, and the bomb enemies, unless you have a ranged toy or add damage on you dart gun they will just make you take damage. So again it good. Us like.

We just purchased this game this morning and its amazing love everything about it so far. But please can you add Icloud save support so we can play the same file and progress between our iPad and iPhone.
This is such a fun game. Its AAA in our opinion. Good luck finding something in the App Store that has this much life to it. Graphics: the cartoonish hand drawn look really is breathtaking. It lends to this world quite well. Controls: very fluid controls. Roll, slash, shoot grab and more very easily. Did not find them in the least bit clunky which is surprising for mobile games. Story: the story is not complicated but fun. Gameplay: locations are quite interactive and lively. The world around you is very cohesive. The characters are fun and all have their own personality. The time passing isnt really too rushed and even the death aspect is rather well done.

Great game the story, the graphics, and the characters are great! Just two thing could you add a joystick because the controls are really hard and difficult to control and learn and could you please add co op so we can play with our friends. Overall great game!
The left thumb virtual joystick doesn’t quite work as well as in other games that employ the same concept, so movement is annoying.
Honestly a good game and well polish. The movement controls however, kind of throws us off. Is there any way to have like a fixed joystick?
Fun gameplay. It is enjoyable. Excellent quirky chiptune like music. Horrid on-screen controllers. Would have been three star for that. But thankfully supports controllers and is played flawlessly with a controller.
Hello, The game is very fun, but we have upgraded to the iPhone 12 mini and the game no longer fits the screen properly. Hoping an update is incoming!
We really enjoy the game but when we dont use the controller support the controls are all wonky and its difficult to move around please fix the controls thank you.
Please add Chinese translation. We love this game but we need to understand what NPC say. Many of our friends wants to play but theres no Chinese translation.
This is 5 star game if were for the controls. If theres one major updat add the option for a fixed d-pad or visible control stick. Im enjoying the story and world building but we cant get past the drifting controls. We roll the wrong direction or wander into a pit due to the off kilter control pad. Hope this is something your team can remedy, for now Im going to have to wait for a fix. :(
Fun game. Walking around is pretty difficult without a visible touchpad.
The graphics are good, the gameplay is good but moving around in the game is kind of weird and clunky.
