Tiny Room Story: Town Mystery Review

The puzzles were fun and logical. Some were easy and some were hard. The story line is pretty interesting too. If you needed a clue you would watch a commercial. Fair trade.

This game is amazing, we’ve never played a game that was really entertaining, we love the storyline, everything was very detailed. This was an all around excellent game. We hope yall add some more chapters. Like maybe another mystery that could be solved. But thats all we had to say #GREATGAME.

Step 1. Get the game saying, oh cool. Fun way to pass the time. Step 2. Play chapter 1 for an hour and forget an important event because you were too into the game Step 3. Get to the end of chapter 1 and immediately purchase and play the rest because it is AMAZING Step 4. You completed the game. optional step 5. Complain the the makers that we need more Really 5/5 game though! Great job!

This was an amazing game! We spent hours on it by far one of our favorite games everybodys complaining about ads maybe its because Wi-Fi or something but the whole time we didnt have any ads even if we wanted to have a hint, we didnt get forced to have an ad. We think its just a glitch with our Wi-Fi or something. Debating on paying its only three dollars a half to see we probably will but Im saving up for a trip! This was an amazing game we would say probably 12-year-old not 4+, Not because its inappropriate or anything we just think that would just need a 12-year-old to actually be able to figure out the stuff without a hint! Amazing mechanisms and wonderful story you truly never know or can predict whats going to happen next. Its not repetitive like most games. Its truly one of the best games. Its very time consuming, which we like, as we spent a lot of hours on the first one, but its so addicting so you dont have to spend hours you can take a break in between chapters if you want we were just really getting into it. It has nice graphics and scenes. Im playing on the phone so its very easy to maneuver on any device if you can do it on a phone! Anyway, we would rated 10 stars if we could so excited for the new chapter, we actually think we might buy it and Ill play it on the on our vacation!

Very fun game its also packed with challenges and puzzles we recommend it as a game you should download.

So this is the kind of game that is great, and every person will want to download, so this game has NO ADDS( at least for me) witch we all love. But it has one little tiny perk to it. Let us explain. So there are basically chapters in this game, so there is an act 2 too, but we got rid of one star because you have to pay to continue and go in to act 2. We really wish they wouldnt do that, but then again, that is how they get you. Man are they smart.

We loved this game so much and we had a blast playing it. The only problem is when we finished Act 1 we realized you have to pay for the rest of the game which made us sad because this is such a good game.

This game was so fun and we played it everyday! But then once we finished the First Act we had to pay for the next part of the game. It made us really sad because we enjoyed the game so much but could not pay to finish it.

Unique room controls that are interesting. Obscure puzzles. Typical of escape the room games. The puzzles dont have meaning towards the story line so if you happen to notice a picture that is red, blue and green and the puzzle is looking for red, blue or green, then you found the answer but they hide the answer under another puzzle. You will use the hint a lot for which you will need to watch up to two advertisements to get the answer, which we guess is generous. Not for adventure gamers but it tries to make you think its an adventure.

You get totally invested in the game, get your whole family playing (good fun for our kids and we to do together) and you get past the 4th ish level and it becomes a paid game. Not a fan of the deception, tell people up front if youre going to charge at some point. What happened to integrity and honesty?!?! Not here.

Best escape puzzle game we have played yet. Super well made and good story too. Mechanics are awesome and good difficulty too.

This is the VERY first review we’ve ever wrote on the App Store, and its honestly because we just felt this game was worth the time to write it. We originally went with free version but once the trial was over (which was a very long free trial), we decided we HAD to buy it!!! We couldnt stop playing for hours!! And we wish we would have known in advance because if we would have bought it sooner, there wouldnt have been any ads ANDDD we wouldnt have to watch an AD to get each clue, which was a little bit of a pain but sooooo well worth it regardless. Definitely MY TOP 3 best games from the App Store. Dont hesitate !! You will be addicted- P.S : we were cooking dinner simultaneously and we ended up burning 3 pots of beans, just because we were soo addicted and couldnt stop playing LOL!

Fun, new take on the escape room game. Challenging puzzles. Worth the few dollars to purchase the game!

We thoroughly enjoyed this game. Some of the puzzles were annoying so we had to use the hints but overall it was great. We couldnt put it down.

We just finished the main storyline and it is such a fun game! We agree with some of the reviews in that some of the answers to the puzzles are silly or dont make sense. On of the ones in the last level was frustrating because we looked around forever and could not figure out the answer. The chalkboard gave you the answers to the code on one of the doors but we didnt see how the code translated. We do appreciate that if you get stuck the game gives you hints for free. We ended up playing for a lot longer because we didnt rage quit the game every time we got stuck. We love the mechanics of the game and we really hope you guys come out with similar games.

Refreshing change of pace from the point and click games. Puzzles were unique and challenging and very realistic. (For example, in real life one could use pliers to remove hinges on a locked door to get around the lock. Im guessing the user that complained this was an unrealistic solution has never taken hinges off a door? Ya gotta do what ya gotta do!) we loved the little world the writers created, and we loved that you could see in every scene. Really clean artwork! Game is nice and long and you get a great adventure without too much useless dialogue. We hope to see more from this team. Highly recommend this if you love this type of puzzle. (For reference, some other phone faves are Agent A, Gorogoa, Glitch Games, Rusty Lake, Myst, House of DaVinci, the Room Games.)

The game was great, but we wish that you did not have to pay to get more levels.

This is one of our favorite games we hope there are more games like this out there !!!

We’ve never written a review in our life but we absolutely love this game!!! Its puzzles are perfectly challenging and if you get stuck like us lol then the hints are very helpful and only about 45 sec of adds. Totally worth giving a try, we think it is awesome and the story line and graphics are great and its very creative. Five stars in our opinion;)

We are on level 45 we are confused on what to shoot with the tank.

Am we the only one to have the level VII not working.

We really enjoy this game, but once you reach the paid content (which we dont regret it wasnt that much) the puzzles become hard to remember tiny details and have very little context clues. We have to rely on the hints constantly to get through. When we see the answer we know we would have never guessed.

After chapter 5 u need to pay $$$ which is really dumb.

This game was really fun at first!! We liked being able to turn around in the rooms, and touch everything even if it did nothing. However some things are really hard to figure out, and while thats great for gameplay we wish that we couldve had some vague instruction on what to do next instead of watching an ad to get a hint, only for the hint to be giving us the full answer. What makes this 3 stars for us is that there are only 2 chapters and after you play the 4 or so levels of the first chapter, you HAVE to buy the second. The pack comes with the second chapter, no ads, and an exclusive chapter which is great, but we would NOT like to pay to finish the game.

The first half of this game is pretty solid. Fun puzzles, good mechanics. Halfway through Act II the solutions to the puzzles become incredibly convoluted and random. Several times we used hints and the answer STILL didnt make any sense. Codes and passwords are all scrambled in weird arbitrary ways that arent intuitive or clever. The game is also in desperate need of a camera or a notes feature. Theres a lot of random patterns that are too much to keep track of. Hints could also be better. A HINT to push the player in the right direction when stuck, instead of just outright revealing the answer.

Tried to take money from our account without us buying anything.

We would say this game is rather fun and different. The camera angles, the storyline and all the puzzles you need to solve has its own uniqueness. Although sometimes it may be hard to find some of the objects, theres a reason theres a hint tab thatll help you. Only reason its 4 and not 5 star is because for the hints you have to watch videos almost every time, unless you make in app purchases (I wouldnt say is worth it just watch the ad). Id definitely recommend this game!

The first level we didnt even get, how do you do the pass world? Its sup a harf.

We love Act 1 but you have to pay for Act 2 and we are not doing that.

We love this game. We love the mystery and the storyline and the art. And theres so little ads we feel like we can actually enjoy the game! We also love that the first main act was free. Its really fun and it feels like youre playing a mobile escape room. We’ve already recommended it to a friend bc we’ve had so much fun. This is the only game we’ve ever been willing to purchase the full version of (especially bc it was 50% off). 10/10 would play again :D.

Love this game. Im super picky on games but this one kept us hooked. Hope they come out with more.

This was such a great game to play. Fun, immersive, addicting, and everything else you could ask for! This is the first type of game like this we’ve played on an iPhone and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If youre thinking about getting it, do it!! PS: thank you developers!

Such a fun and intriguing game. Im ashamed to say how our hints we used but the puzzles were fun and the story intriguing.

Some of these puzzles are actually quite hard however overall enjoyable experience.

We have played many escape/puzzle games on iOS and this one is just brilliant. So fun, so much game to be played, and puzzles that are challenging but very rarely too hard/obscure. We cant wait to see what comes next from this developer.

Perfectly fun, and thanks to the hint system, allowed us to avoid the frustration of navigating back and forth.

Absolutely loved this game. We love escape game that are point and click. This was really fun and had a really cool and interesting story that definitely kept us invested. Hopefully you make more we would love to play more Tiny Room Mysteries!!!

Very enjoyable game, well-worth the few dollars it costs to play the whole thing and then you also have unlimited hints if you get stuck at all. It took us a few days to get through the whole thing and we found it both entertaining and relaxing to play. We hope the creators make more games like this in the future!

We really like different styles of puzzle games, and this one is a really good mix of a few of them. Well worth a purchase.

We see so many reviews about people getting upset you cant afford the game, you get a whole act free and its only $2.99 for two acts no ads and an additional chapter. Like WHAT ??? How is that too much??? We dont understand what the problem is. The game is so well made. The graphics the story line. The game play. The mystery. Us and our bf are obsessed. And still cant believe how cheap it is. Best game we’ve ever played. Hope they make more games like this one !!

This game has a fun story and a cool visual style. A good difficulty level throughout, though we felt there were a few disconnects between a few puzzles and answers. The ability to rotate the map was a fun twist, though on occasion that did make it just a little hard to navigate the maps.

Top tier game, finished it in 4 days sadly. The graphics are gorgeous and simple, soundtrack is pretty neat, storyline is really creative, and it isnt too challenging. The price to purchase the extended levels is worth it in our opinion. Very excited if the company makes a sequel.

We really enjoyed this game. The down side was that we finished it in 3 days, including the extra content. They advertise on Steam a new game coming soon, so we just have to wait. Loved all the hidden references!!! Thank you.

This game scratches that puzzle solving itch like nothing else available on the App Store. We almost never spend money on games, but we enjoyed the first act so much that we had to buy the rest (and figure out where the plot was going). The only thing that could be improved would be some of the most challenging puzzles, which took some mind-reading due to unclear clues. That was very rare and didnt take away from the game at all. More please!

We like to play games where you escape from a location, or just use puzzles in general. And this game has that aspect that we were looking for. After beating the 1st chapter, we bought the additional chapters. We think that we spent our money well.

If you want to scratch your brain a bit? This game is for you. Definitely worth paying 2.99 for the full game.

Log this game so much. Had a lot of fun playing cant wold love to see more of the game.

We love puzzle games, and this one was really fun. It took a few tries to get used to the mechanic, but we liked it. We would point out that some puzzles were off the wall, and even with an online walkthrough, we had no idea how the player was supposed to figure out some of the sequences. In our opinion, it was well worth buying the extra levels. We had a blast.
