A Glimpse into Topsoil
Topsoil is an original puzzle game where you grow plants and work your garden’s soil.
Your goal is to harvest as many plants as you can before your garden fills up! Manage your garden by placing plants of the same type next to each other, then harvesting them together. The more plants you harvest at once, the more points you earn, and the more soil you turn over. If your garden fills up before your next chance to harvest, that’s game over. Keep growing and you’ll discover new seeds, tall trees, and friendly birds along the way!

We found this game looking for some kind of gardening resource app. Since then we’ve been spending wayyy too much time playing it. Its a really lovely puzzle game thats challenging enough to want to keep playing because its not frustrating in that way that some games get. After playing for almost a week, we just now discovered the achievements and milestone menu… Im so happy to have stumbled upon this app because its basically everything we ever wanted in a mobile device puzzle game app, from the sound effects to the graphics to the deceptive simplicity of its appearance. Thank you to the developer for creating this game :)
Doesnt force you to view ads unless you want more plays, so we so bought the unlimited plays, because that attitude in game development should be supported.
Such a fun little game. Not much to it but every time we lose we want to jump right back in and try again. The developer hasnt updated it in awhile, which doesnt affect gameplay. We just wish he would expand the game somehow and add new options, features and difficulty levels.
Edit: happy to report that the game once again works on our phone, thank you for the update! Hadnt played in a few months, came back to see that, unfortunately, the app crashes immediately when opening now. We’ve had this game downloaded for awhile, its one of our favorite puzzle games we’ve found on here, hope this can get an update someday!
One of the best puzzle games we’ve played in recent memory. Gameplay is reminicent of Triple Town, but with a challenging twist – took a little while for us to get into it, but now we’re hooked. The business model is fair – we don’t mind watching an ad in exchange for plays. Everyone needs to make a living! Our top score is 588.
We bought the game because we were just playing it so much. But we’ve found that after a certain point we kind of topped out at a score of like 3500, cant really get past that part. One of the things we like so much about some puzzle games is you can just keep playing them indefinitely and just continuously get slightly better at them. We would play more if the mechanic allowed us to progress just a lil bit more… Maybe Im just not good at it yet :)
Precisely what we needed in our life right now. Easy to play, difficult to master, and yet eminently generous in its design. The perfect amount of plays to start off with and a fair business model. We wish we could pay to get bonus plays every couple hours instead of just infinite – we like being told to go play something else. :)
Favorite game but when 15.0.02 updated it will no longer function. Help please!
Rarely if ever do we suggest gamemakers muck up a game we like, but heres a suggestion. Developers: consider capping the maximum number of free plays somebody can accumulate. Also, lower the price for unlimited play. Without tweaking these or other variables, we cant see how youll ever get any more money from a casual player like us, but we want you to succeed.
Definitely one of our favorite games to waste a few hours on… We love that Im not bombarded with ads; its more of an optional thing for extra plays. The only thing that would make this game better is if there was an update that added a few extra types of plants, and maybe another version with a wider grid to compensate for it :)
A matching game with genuine strategy! It is also visually lovely and has meaningful achievements. Ads are totally optional and never intrusive and give good payoffs. Absolutely worth trying! It is our new favorite for puzzle games.
The art is really simple but that makes it such a pretty piece. We love how theres plays so you cant really play non stop, get bored of it, and delete it. And the mini goals you have are fun as well. Im loving it.
A lot of people complain about the ads, but we think its very fair! An ad for 3 plays, no limits! We have 80 plays just from collecting them, plus you get 3 plays a day for free anyway! We wouldve immediately paid for no ads, but $3.99 is a bit much! Still, we respect this developer for the very fair business model. GAMEPLAY: very addictive and challenging! Its so simple, but you need good strategy! Im pretty new to the game, so our high score is around 500. Its hard, but SO relaxing and fun to play! We rarely give 5 star reviews, but this one earns it in every way! Highly recommended!!!

It is so relaxing and calming we love it.
We liked this game so much we immediately bought the IAP for unlimited lives to support the developer. This is just deep enough to keep us interested and coming back for more, and not so deep as to be complicated or frustrating. And the design is gorgeous. We used to play Triple Town, and we actually like this better. We also like that you can close the game at any time and it saves your progress. So its perfect on a break or commute. Thanks for a great game and pricing it fairly with no ads or IAPs!
This used to be our favorite puzzle game and Id play it all the time, only now when we click it to open it immediately crashes. We uninstalled it for an extended amount of time, reinstalled it recently, and still- crashes every time. Is this game still functional??? Really miss it, and we have no idea why it doesnt launch now. If the developer is on here, please advise!
You have to really think playing this game. It is challenging and addictive. No adds unless you want to play more games then the daily 3. And if theres no sponsors its no adds just more games! First review we’ve written for a game. We feel its that good!
We love this game, we’ve been playing for like two years now and it never gets old. We love that theres no timer, we can play at our own pace.
Puzzle games aren’t really our thing, but this game has us sold! Maybe we are a puzzle guy after all. After your first round the puzzle starts to unravel and your eyes are opened to a much more engaging and rewarding adventure. The style is Zen like and has you smiling the whole way through!
First off, there are no ads, even though this is a free game. The colors, shapes, sounds, and gameplay are all very pleasant.
The most original game we’ve found in ages. The theming is perfect. The gameplay mechanics are perfect. If you like infinitely generating puzzle games like solitaire or minesweeper this is for you It’s almost all strategy, the rng will get you sometimes but you’re meant to strategize around it. It’s really quite clever. Pay for no ads; it’s cheap, it supports the devs, and it’s totally worth it 5/5.
The graphics are really clean and simple, everything works well, the sounds are spot on, and there are minimal ads. Just a really great idea put through a really great execution.

This game is an instant favourite. Nothing gets in the way of playing; the challenges are endless. If you’ve played 2048, Threes, or Triple Town, this is a game you must play.
What a lovely match three game. Nothing too fancy, but what it does it does well. It REALLY relaxes you. Even when we ran out of areas to match we wasn’t mad about it, like in other match three games (cough) Candy Crush (cough). The gameplay and graphics are simple, but that’s part of its appeal. We almost balked at the infinite lives for $3.99, but we’re so glad we went all in. Thank you Nico Prins for your relaxing take on match three games AHHH!
We love this game. We love it so much we had to find our old phone and charge it just to remember what it was called and download it again. The aesthetic is wicked and its just a fun, chill little game that makes you think. Highly recommend.

Fun game that’s different from anything we’ve played before. It starts off easy, but the more you progress, the harder it gets. Strategy is a big part of getting as far as possible.
We love playing this. We hope in the future they give us the option to create custom maps and let us choose the map sizes to challenge us with.
May 2023. We love this game and play it on our iPad all the time. We have it on our iPhone as well but it can never be opened on the phone. We hope the developer will fix this issue soon.

… One of the best. Very annoying that we cant say we never want to use Game Center for this app. We dont know why it was added, it makes no sense, and now we get annoying sign in prompt every time we play.
The game dose so many things right. We love the idea, the look and the atmosphere. It can be a simple, relaxing time waster or you can plan out your moved like a chess game. But it feels incomplete. The balance is off. Perhaps if you add rare wildcards (swap two tiles, remove all with birds, remove one tile for free, etc.) it would add depth to game and game play would rely more on strategy and less on luck.
The game is great but Im tired of running out of plays we wanna keep playing we do not want to keep having to wait to play.

Constantly crashes, when it works we love it. Bought the app, but asking for refund because it immediately crashes upon opening.
You’re severely limited to how much you can play. Not worth it.
Typical sneaky cash grab… You can only play a few times per day unless you pay $4… What a rip off. Deleting. Never buying an app from this company again.
