So we just got it a few days ago and Im doing decent, its very fun, lets start with the good. 1 despite the games simplicity it requires a lot of strategy, 2 the art style is very nice and fun to look at, 3 good character design, 4 the music is fun, 5 its just fun in general. Now the bad. 1 not enough content in order to get more players you need more content more troops modes and so on. 2 the ghost assassins are way to overpowered why not take their ability percentage down to 10 and have it increase with each upgrade we feel like it evens it out imo. Final verdict 8.5/10. One last thing please add more battle deck slots. Btw theres an exploit people use to dupe their soldiers by moving them between towers to go over population limits please patch it thank you.
Personally we do love this game. We have played it for a couple of years and thoroughly enjoy it. There is one reason that could quickly be fixed and we would stay, but we highly doubt they will do it. We personally think the Paladin character is far too strong defensively and is a crutch for unskilled players. They make it to where either you have to have a Paladin killer in your squad or you will eventually deal with an unskilled player (60%+ off the time) that hides behind them and has no other recourse because of their skill level. At this point you will lose copious amounts of troops sometimes 3-4 to 1. We are done trying to compete with cowards who hide behind these and offer no other strategy. We are deleting the game after this review because there is no reason to allow these people to hide behind something like that because theyre incompetent to play. We tried using the Paladin, but it makes the game slow and boring. We hope you all enjoy, we did love this game, but Im unwilling to put up with this so stupid people can compete.
Game is fun unless you go against someone who has the ghost assassin. When a ghost assassin is on the other team we immediately surrender as its a waste of time to even try to win. The 80% chance to downgrade your tower means you start the round spending more troops than them and there is nothing you can do to win unless your opponent makes a blunder. The troop needs their success rate to be seriously nerfed or have the chance of it being a building to be nerfed. Either way it ruins the game once you get to a high league.
If you play this the only bad part is that you have to turn it up. This should be 5 stars because fun team ranks new characters and more you should play this if we didnt persuade you enough NO ADS! Clash Battle have fun and hope we persuaded you Love, Unknown Cool Dude Love it stay fun.
This is our favorite game currently on our phone. We see a lot of complaints about unfair matchmaking and cheating but we have never experienced this. When you win you go up in trophies, and lose you go down. You go against people at similar trophy levels which implies similar skill. We have never experienced anyone cheating. Many people complain about the players who spend money and are better, but of course they are, because they spent money and upgraded cards faster. We have never spent money on the game and still have fun playing. Our only complaint is that there are a ton of map setups going through the game, but sometimes it feels like we get the same 10. Other than that super fun.

Its a good game but when you send troops it should constantly send troops.
Omg this is such a great game (not the way its ran by devs but if you say it the even block your reviews). Gotta hide the meat in the soup on these reviews or they delete them. They Cat and py to win people get all the breaks. Discord is a joke its just fanboys and devs rubbing elbows. Love this game. Its so awesome. We gave it 5 stars so maybe people will see this.
Awesome fun strategy game. But you need to penalize surrendering. Its frustrating when you make a move that gives you an advantage and they just give up.
Ive played this game for a couple of years and currently rank in the top 30 and we want to address some of the negative reviews. Pay to Win: yes, you can spend money and level up faster. However, Ive only had the battle pass ($10/month) and just recently started the monthly gem pass ($10/month) and have leveled up to max cards for our main deck in a couple years. Spend money if thats your thing, but not needing to spend a lot is one of our favorite aspects of this game. Unfair Match Making: this just isnt the case. The match making is the same as other games like clash of clans. If you win, you earn trophies. If you lose, you lose trophies. If youre good, your trophy count will be really high and youll play people with higher card levels than you. As your cards level up, you will compete at higher trophy levels. Cheating: its happened in the past but doesnt exist at all now. People that complain about cheating typically dont understand the game fully yet. Rush Attacks: lots of people rush, its an easy strategy especially at lower skill levels. However, there are also plenty of strategies that counter the rush. Join the discord channel and learn strategies more quickly. Lack of Support: the support in this game is actually the best Ive ever experienced. Just join the discord channel and its super easy to get the help you need. If you like strategy games and dont want to spend a fortune, this is a great game to try.
Never paid a cent in this game and got to level 20 but the map gets maxed out and you cant do anything with the extra resources you collect. Seems odd you cant get anything past level 20 on the map.
Please fix this cheating issue it happens right around this time it just doesnt make sense. AT ALL.
This is the 4th time we have posted as they just delete negative posts. Horrible service that admits to fraud. Join an alliance and discord and you can progress. Otherwise enjoy sticking at 6900 max. They should just advertise this from the start to avoid fraud instead of telling you that once you send in a question. Stay far away from this game unless you want to join an alliance and discord and spend roughly $50 per month.
People are spawning in 200* troops and has 4-5 troops types. Fix your game.
Game is very simple and could be fun but its not unless you plan on spending a couple K Every thing is pay to play. If you want the top troop that cant be beat you will have to spend a lot of money. In edition you can make your troops faster than everyone elses but be prepared to spend a-lot of money. We would recommend staying away because you cant compete without spending a couple grand. As we said it could be a fun strategy game but the greedy company made sure its not unless you spend a lot of money.
Game basically ends around level 6-8 unless you want to pay or grind for 8 hours a day.
We fudging love this game we play it all the time but the inquisitors are OP and SO STUPID they ruin all strategy and theres literially no way to defend against them because they can WALK THROUGH WALLS.
If you dont want to spend a bunch of money or wait for years to be able to get over a level then dont get this game. The only way to be good is to pay for stuff. It is really frustrating to get beat by people who have lower experience but paid for their wins. This game is a joke. It will cheat you out of wins by making your troops disappear as they get to the tower. They wont attack, they will just disappear. Figure yourself out.
The game developers support unethical play that 100% goes against their community guidelines which is really all they are. Their only concern is money. If you like to spend a lot of money. This is your game. You will thrive l, rise to the top, and be able to do anything you want to do. No skill will be needed. Make a name for yourself. If you have skill and not that much money this game is not for you. You will only get frustrated and quit. The game recently during a week long event had some players do some unethical play. It was blatant to all. They used a loophole which in the community guidelines says that type of play will get you banned and its against the community guidelines. But since these players spend enough well you guessed it. They are sweeping it under the rug. They have a discord to promote the community however they wouldnt know community if it was staring them in the face. Spend your valuable time elsewhere. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else as well. If zero stars was possible theyd get that.
We are well over a thousand battles in and now you are kind of stuck with no advancement in site unless you pay. It would be way more logical to make it to where you could slowly level up bit by bit, but now you wait and wait until you can leap. At level 12 you have to gather 1600 cards to level up. Thats insane and takes an eternity unless you want to pay in which case you didnt actually earn it. Anyways, Im done.

Amazing game that we can play for hours. Best if all, no annoying ads and it is absolutely not pay-to-win. You can spend money to advance faster but you don't have to. Love it.
Ive play this game for years and we could never reach more than 6000 trophies. Ive been stuck on the same place for more than 1 year even if we played daily getting every possible reward. We went from loving the gate to absolutely despise it to the point of sickness. Please dont waste your time, disappointing and frustration is what youre going to get.
Hackers/cheaters all the same. They have failed this. The playback video doesnt show what really happens. The developers dont even know how to check their own game too see the hacks. When video playback doesnt match what really happened, its a hack/cheat. Dev are putting limits on legit play, but not stopping the hacking cheating losers. Join the discord? For what? Listen to excuses and no fix? Waste! Nobody cares that money is wasted on this game because the same players cheat, are reported over n over, and nothing happens.
No customer service, just cookie cutter responses to join discord and do strategy with others. Issue is little balance in game, spenders are light years ahead of others, the math on attack vs defense does not add up, uneven match play..did we mention zero customer service.
Very fun game, but for reasons that make no sense they steal 200 trophies every couple weeks.
Too many broken units. Pay to win is baked into the lottery/luck of what tower spawns.
The game is awesome and our favorite but there is a bug that keeps kicking us out of the game when we still have empty space on our iPhone for it and when we have good internet we highly recommend this game but can you fix the bugs.
Used to be fun, but the rare champions have been buffed to where they are more busted then the legendary champions.
We have played the game for a long time but doesnt allow us to move forward in the game. We have reached the max but does not allow us to move forward and they do not give a reason why. If they want us to pay for the free game it should say so . That way we wont waste our time playing.
We find this game completely senseless. Its impossible to get past a certain point without either spending a lot of money or cheating. Im deleting this game and suggest you dont get it.
Previously a 5 star game, but Paladin has turned this from a skill game to a roll of the dice game.
Over last month, we have lost countless fights, at least 25%, to cheaters. We do not accuse them of cheating because we lost but because of what occurs during fight. An example is the match we were last in. We destroyed our opponents towers multiple times after he spend massive number of troops to upgrade. Yet he would constantly have higher troop count than us with after 3m mark having 60 troop count higher even though he wasted a lot of troops upgrading buildings to have building destroyed. This is the troop generation speed hack. There is also a hack where you can send 100 troops against 10-20 and lose all 100 against just the troops in the building. This is the immortality hack. This is just some of the highest frequency hacks we have observed. Another hack we have started to see is buildings restoring 20 troops every second while under attack. This is not the building being reinforced, but gaining 20 troops every second simply for being attacked.
At first we were having a lot of fun playing the game because it felt like we got what the game advertised. A fun strategic pvp game whereas you must capture the opponents tower. Though when we got to 400 trophies Ive realized the games major flaws. First of all, archery towers. Archery towers are if you capture them, youve won. A max level archery tower doesnt need much units. Heaven-forbid, you can have 1. Even if the enemy tries to counter you by sending distraction units to capture your archery towers, just throw up troops to your archery tower because even if you have no troops, the max level archery tower kills 25 troops in about ten seconds. You can repel anything with a max level archery tower. Second, just throwing troops at the enemy. Ive been victim to this several times through getting 600 trophies. Thats when we quite playing because the games strategic feature simply boiled down to, Who can throw more troops at every building possible? It got really annoying and the games strategy and the basics youve learned through the first 200 trophies didnt apply despite the basics always having even some recognition in the late show. Those are just 2 of many flaws that made the game feel unappealing. Though those are the 2 most major issues and if you are patient enough (unlike us) we think youd find the game fairly fun with the unique mechanics making you not only focus on pvp but empire-building. Id also like to compliment the staff and development team. Theyre very nice and patient and they read over a majority of the reviews. Overall, we rate the game 3/5. Might recommend to those patient enough.
At first its all fun. Then play higher level people who probably brag about how great they are at a game where they move their guys back and forth between buildings hundreds of times. Not something we pride ourselves in. Gets very dumb actually.
We keep reading this is a strategy game. But when you are beat by teams 1/2 your power. We mean completely ran over. You quickly realize its garbage. Either the upgrades are garbage or something is really wrong with the game play. Dont waste your time with this garbage. Open a chest, 99% of the time next game you lose. We cant express how bad this is. *** Developer says this isnt true. We beg to differ. Its 99% of the time and Im not the only one thats noticed. Go on FB and look ! When lvl 12 troops run through lvl 14 and 15s there is an issue.

Would be a fun game except for all the issues like enemy towers becoming invincible, your towers switching to enemy ones without being attacked, and a total imbalance towards the enemy even if you have vastly stronger troops and tactics. All of which magically stop happening if you spend real money on the game. So unless you end up fighting someone else who hasnt spent anything on the game or the other person just doesnt play, you will lose. Greed is killing this game.
Cannot update main castle past level 13. Please fix.
Ive been playing this for several months and enjoyed most of it despite some of the quirks. We noticed this week during the Christmas event, several anomalies occurred including the game playing and making moves without us even touching the screen, which was pretty creepy but, we stayed a loyal customer only to try to get in today and have everything essentially wiped clean and nothing left on our username. We believe we will walk away from this one and not return! Sad because we really was just getting in to it.
We have been playing this game for over a year and Ive made many in-app purchases. Our account was suddenly deleted by the developer with no notice about a week ago. We have tried emailing the development company and they have not responded. We would strongly suggest not spending any money on this game if the developer is just going to delete your account anyway.

Dont spend any money on it! We promise you its a complete waste. What a scam. You wont ever talk to a real person. Every response is from a bot. Its a total sham.
Its alright game they just wont put more levels on the campaign seems they just try to get you to do the pvp. Also seen on here that the developers think they are no cheating or hacking in the game they could not be more wrong completely oblivious.
The warriors that throw knives that knock an opposing towers level down are literal B.S. Ive gotten to the point we automatically forfeit a match when we go up against them now. You cant compete against players that use them because you cant level up your towers without spending all your troop buildup. This alone makes us no longer want to play this game in our spare time.
We enjoy the game. However, it would be nice when someone forfeits a match, it didnt end the game for the other player. If someone forfeits, it would be nice if the computer would take over so the match can continue.
Started off fun. We even paid every 2 weeks at first. Not any more. They restricted animations frequency. Shows what a control freak the developing team is. Did someone make fun of your kids match with animations? Super lame. Why dont you release the next level of single player before making game lamer than it is. Im not paying for anything ever again in this game because if these changes. Bring back our right to make fun of our opponent as fast as we want.
Pay to win. Game has a great concept. But as usual once you hit a certain level, you gotta cough up the money.
Support never replies when reporting issues but not sure why this app would mess with our cell . But everytime we used it , our fone would restart or freeze . After playing for over 20 minutes last week , it powered off and took hours to turn back on . We deleted the game and we never had the issue again.
