True skate is so good. If we didnt have true skate Id have nothing to do all day. Its so fun. Its just like the best skating game Ive ever played. Nothing beat it.
We got sandbox subscription and when we press import mod it says mods are disabled in startup options make it more simple.
This game is very cool. It allows us to see other tricks that we dont know yet and then try them on a real skateboard.
Quality game but we were promised a console version years ago. Sandbox is great but this isnt gta 6 it shouldnt take this long.

This game is the best skateboarding game good mechanics nice gameplay, but we just wish there was more maps that were buyable with the currency you get in the game, it would be nice for us free to play players. Like three original true skate maps would be good.
Love the game but we when we go to SLS Miami the park is invisible.
First off we wanna say that this game is awesome, we play it all the time and we love it. The reason Im only giving 4 stars is because of a few reasons. The first is that when you purchase a new deck after 20 minutes of playing with it, it gets so scratched up from skating with it. We think this problem could be fixed by just adding a reset button for it. We tried fixing this ourselves by equipping a different deck and then switching back to the one we had just bought, but when we tried to switch back, we had to buy the deck again. We also think that the way you get money in this game should be different. Instead of getting money for just skating around, we think you should get money by doing the missions and getting 100 for the first mission 125 for the second and it just goes up by 25 for each new mission. This would also solve the next problem we have which is that everything in this game is very expensive. This can be a good thing because it encourages people to grind for the stuff they want but is made kind of stupid because you can just buy the money but we also understand this from the devs perspective because the need money. Overall if youre reading this review, please download this game, its amazing.
True skate is a super fun game theres no doubt about that. We love how its physics based and the tricks arent just the same animations. However, this is also THE buggiest game/app we have ever owned, we mean that literally. Its bad, really bad, half of the time the app just crashes for no reason. Then gets stuck in this loop trying to open it but it crashes so you have to constantly delete the app and reinstall it just get out of the crashing loop just to be able to play it. But then all your settings reset and all of your in game mods erase its beyond frustrating. More than half of the features just stop working like the replay editor the camera stops blending smoothly and does whatever it wants. The shop is beyond buggy even though they just revamped the whole thing. Its frustrating because this game has SO much potential to be incredible. The last thing, the lack of content. Its not right to have to rely on members in the modding community to keep sandbox alive (in game paid subscription to mods) because without them it would be dead. Its mainly one person who adds new stuff thats it. True skate every now and then adds new SLS maps but thats it as well, no street maps, no creative made up parks, just these smaller SLS parks most players dont like to skate they want street maps. We really hope they fix a lot of stuff because this game could be 5 stars EASILY! But for now, it doesnt feel like a finished product.
It is soooo pay to win we rate it three stars Becouse it costs so much coins to buy a different skate park and always wants you to buy everything as soon as you log in. And you get coins so slow. And we always get bored of the main free one so we stop playing the only thing that is making us not delete it is we paid money to get it Becouse we thought it would be a fun game with a lot of different maps and tricks. We like the missions though we are pretty sure that is the only thing we like about it. We recommend knowing that if you want to get the game you are going to get bored if you do not buy a different map. Thank you for reading.
We previously bought the Schoolyard for bolts, but am now unable to use it since you made every park available for purchase with bolts.
We cant pass the nollie pop shove it mission. It says thats what Im doing. Even in practice mode it fails us. Very frustrated with it right now but everything else is great.
Not a long review. This game use to be great, been playing since we were in 4th grade. Im 18 now. Game literally opens then closes now. Thats it.
Game is solid, fun game, but it will not let us restore in game purchases the only way for us to get our things back is if we buy them all again.
Play this everyday since it came out. Please fix how to do impossibles like it used to though.
Everytime we try to open the app it glitches then exits immediately after can you fix it.
Played this game for years on android. Stopped for a while and recently decided to start again on ios. We wasnt able to get our account back with all our skateparks and skateboards, but sam from customer service did great work helping us get it back. Thank you sam. Also overall a great game, 10/10.
Hands down the best mobile skate game there is, and we'd even go as far as to say it competes with the likes of big console games such as Session and SkaterXL. This is just as addicting.
With all the customization options, Im surprised there isnt an option to adjust how slow the slow motion works. We would be happy with a slightly faster version, and a sliding scale would be perfect. Additionally, it seems shameless to open the news section every time we press the replay button. We purposely didnt open the news because Im not interested in it, yet without fail when we press replay, Im forced to open the news menu. We would give five stars if even just the forceful news was removed.
Truly our biggest gripe is that you USED to be able to Ollie by simply applying pressure to the screen where the tail of the board was. They have removed this feature as far as we know so now you have to drag your finger to Ollie. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK! Why devs? Why.
Ive been trying to pass mission #46 for over 2 hours already, Ive tried everything like reopening the app, and fixing up our settings and we still dont understand how to do this mission. Very confusing and its starting to piss us off.
Tl;dr Played for years, even back when achieving skate points was significantly harder Maps we bought never refunded when they wouldnt launch since 2022 Fast forward 2025 and the app wont even launch. The developers gave up on this game.
One of the first game we buy whenever we get a new device, its so good. If you like skating or just need a chill game its work EVERY penny, you wont regret buying it.

No controller style can ever mimic direct interaction with the skateboard, and actual physics. They drop FREE maps thru LIVE events multiple times a year or If you opt to Sub to sandbox, you instantly expand your map arsenal by around 100 original Community Created maps. The replay system has tripod cameras, custom fisheye cams.. And you can keyfram between them.. Adjust FOV, zoom, height etc.
Been playing this game since a young buck, Best mobile skateboarding game out there, That we can find. Grinded so much, 1,500,000 coins , none bought. ADD STATS THAT WOULD BE COOL.
We were upset because we couldnt find exactly what we were looking for. Which is still a problem! We seen three Reddit posts asking the same question we had. We went and re rated because this game is really fun. Micro transactions are the worst thing to happen to gaming. *Redownloaded this game after years of not playing. Was really looking forward to getting some new parks and fully exploring this game. Went to go get a park and its 200,000 bolts?!?!?! Thats two parks for FIFTY DOLLARS???? Even on the App Store each and every single park is marked at 99 CENTS. If thats really how much it costs we will never play this game again. For fifty dollars we can buy an actual video game.

First thing we wanna say is we really like the gameplay. Ive probably had this game since mid 2010s and the fact that we still come back to it sometimes says a lot. HOWEVER, like many others have already said, theres content we paid REAL MONEY for back in the day that we no longer have access to. Decks and grips we paid for back in the day are completely gone without a trace. A 3 pack of maps we bought show up but only 1 of the 3 will load. The others say invalid lighting data. It gives the instructions to delete the content and redownload but nothing works. The fact that they are asking you to pay a subscription for all features of the game when they dont even take care of the OGs who got them to where they are now is a disgrace. ZERO BIG BOOMS.
If you have any idea how to skate or interest in skate this is the game for you we know you might see the price tag but we think it is the best 2 dollars we have ever spent. We love how it is offline and it seems like you whoud half to grind for a year to 100 present it. Also love there is no adds.
This game is amazing, we have very few issues and have played it consistently for years. The only issue we have is that every time we grind up 10000 coins and buy a custom grip tape or deck it always crops it completely wrong, and we were surprised the first time we did it to see there was no setting to crop the image. Almost every time we have to do multiple attempts to get the image just right and it would make it so much easier if you could add a step to crop the picture you are adding before putting it on the board. Thank you very much this game is super fun!! Please consider adding this.

We cant stop playing. Its so unbelievably great! We used to skate with Bam Margera, he actually plays this quite often. This is just simply one of the absolute best skate apps out there. Download it you wont be disappointed.
We should get a way to edit how we want the image to appear on our custom deck inside the app. Is kind of annoying having to edit it outside of the app.

Been playing this game since it came out when we were a kid. Love it and cant say anything bad other than the game stealing our coins and boards constantly. We make a set up and spend 50k, no biggie. But when our board doesnt load in anymore and we lose it randomly k also lose 50k which is a lot of grinding. Also lost love park and mondo ramp. We had to grind all 400k coins we never wanted to spend money on this game. We did get our coins back once before, when it glitched and we lost 80k coins randomly. We were able to contact true skate support and get those coins back. Now ive lost over 100k coins, love park, and mondo ramp. 500k coins gone just like that. We love this game and have no criticism about it other than our game always bugging and we lose a good amount of coins every time. If possible id like them back :D.
Love the game but it cost soo much to unlock a new map.
Ive bought multiple maps, some USD some with the in game screws or whatever. MULTIPLE times our purchases delete and will never restore. Ive had all the maps LOVE park, the alley, the factory (load fails), Munich, SPA, the hangar. Etc. All deleted and we have to play to get 200,000 points again which takes months and months.
We love this game and the mechanics, but we find it ridiculous that we either need hundreds of hours grinding for bolts or pay FIFTY dollars just for a couple skateparks. Idk who thought that pricing was good but its absolutely absurd.
Ive had this game for years and Ive bought many decks and grip tapes with real money and now theyre just gone? Theres no option to buy them anymore theyve just been removed from the game, its not just one or two things theres a lot of content missing! Its annoying. If we knew that these things would eventually be removed we wouldve never bought them.

Ive been playing this game since we were 8. Technically speaking its great, you pay 3 dollars for the best skateboarding game on mobile, but its only half the game. If you want to be able to play on more maps, make your own maps,customize your character or install anything made by the community you have to pay an extremely hefty monthly price for what should be the price of the base game. Its a scam. The only reason it gets any stars in the first place is because of the game play. Do better devs.
Everything about the game is great other than the fact every time there is an update it resets our custom graphic on the deck. And everytime is 10,000 credits wasted.
Had this since about 2015-16. We have SLS 16 maps that are on our account on our iPod touch but for some reason not on on our phone(iPhone 15). We have many decks and grip tape bundles purchased with real money that are just gone. Support responds whenever they feel like it or they just dont. Connecting accounts is painstakingly hard for no reason at all. Always a problem trying to get Facebook or Apple to connect. The gameplay and idea is there. However Im afraid the developers are dull and money hungry. Stop pushing for buying all this paid content when it randomly disappears so there is no point. And stop adding new content and not fixing old bugs. Missing Light Data on a mobile game map? Seriously? Even small unity developers dont throw errors like that. Fix it.
Have bought lots of maps before and all of the sudden they are gone, and cost like 50 bucks per map now, just stopped playing because of it, we used to spent hours over hours with this game and pool 8.
