Used to play it a long time ago and go back into it. Its still great we guess they took a hiatus for some years and are back online now. We wish the developers would send updates for what theyre working on or if the barb worlds are coming back but otherwise great game.
Has a lot of potential but we don't see anyone playing.
Im the loser in all the chat rooms and suk jesters micro one. This game is just the greatest. Game play is ok, but we like the small dik of Jester so we play.
The game has a lot of glitches, which are apparently getting worked in, since 2013 Also there is rampant cheating in the game, people duping the app on emulators to have dozens of accounts. The game dev is perfectly ok with it and refuses to punish people who cheat, its killing the game.
The original Valor app, even though its no longer getting new worlds, runs better and with less bugs than Reforged. Also there is a very poor system of communication within the game not just for player to player but also basically no way to communicate or gain information about the game from the app itself. It has more bugs than we can count on two hands and they dont ever seem to get fixed. The worlds are many times too fast, too short, and pretty much all the time dominated by a group of people already previously in a guild. And to bring up the guilds. Youre screwed if you dont get in one and even if you do, unless your spending money on coin to boost and/or constantly on the game & in one of the many third party communication apps they like to use, your basically just fodder for other people who have a previous group who no life the game and have sometimes anywhere from 2-10 alternate accounts to further boost and monopolize the entire world. Not always fair. We recommend to new players dont use a single free coin you get until you have found one of the very few rare worlds where you actually have a chance of winning and not wasting every coin/$ you put into this mess. But in the end the potential and everything you could want is there. It just needs some more work polishing up the many issues. If there was one thing we would like most of all is for better communication between player and the system on basic information about the game, help with bugs & issues, dates & times of worlds, and so on.
We just joined up again after seeing its back! Love this game so we hope that Im not wasting our time. Is it truly back? Or is it just a shell of what it once was.

We played this game YEARS ago and cant remember why we stopped. Finally rediscovered it today and was so glad to have found it again. We know it can be time consuming waiting for upgrades and such but the gameplay itself to us is addicting and wish we could find other games like this in this art style and not all these new, poppy, cartoonish and colorful worlds of this type of game we see. It just isnt for us. But now that Ive found this game again we can see us spending a lot of time trying and retrying anytime we lose because – well, its just fun! We wish we could personally reach out to developers just to say please keep this updated as much as you can just so we can play it as long as we can. If theres anything else similar to this Id love to try it but right now this is THE version of this type of game Ive liked the most. Dont give up, make a guild or friends if you can, and if not just enjoy it! Its amazing. Thank you.
This game is by far one of the most unique and difficult games on the App Store…. It took a month or two before we started to get down the basics. But Im so glad we stuck with it. The community is fantastic. Valor isnt a very noob friendly game, but once you start to get it down it is one of the most enjoyable games out there.
It seems simple. Join a guild, build up your city and troops and conquer the world. But it takes team work, high levels of activity and strategy to make that happen. It's the only game we've played where players get an adrenaline rush when under attack and talk about some past worlds for years. Lots of fun.
We have been playing since world 28 and after all these years there is no game quite like valor. If you can get pass the outdated graphic and bugs Valor can become very addiction. The pro and con of valor is that it is a guild driven game, it is nearly impossible for you to solo and win the a world by yourself. If you are a new player looking for a hardcore, high risk, high reward strategy game then look no further. If you are a veteran, then it is a great time for you to come back and support the game you love. The new designers and owners are keeping true to the origin and is mad at work improving our game. The customer support is on point. They replied back by e-mail within seconds on a SUNDAY! Remember that Valor is under a small team, so their hardwork is coming from dedication and passion. What more can you ask for? Be a part of something you love from the ground up.
It has gotten a lot better since the new owners. It is fun to play once again and we've been playing since world 15.
Most used app on our phone, total valor junkie! And please don't give a bad review for glitches people, we you just message quark, they are quick to fix the problems! All the more reason to love this game! 4 yeas later still love it. Even more so that new ownership improving issues.
Valor is an extremely fun and addictive game. It takes strategy, cooperation, and greed (lol) to succeed. The creators of the game are constantly making improvements to it (beta games going on now) and truly listen to players input. Many will start valor but not finish it. Here are a few tips to get on the right track. 1) realize it starts slow when building your first city 2) message players near you and find a guild to join quickly 3) read the help forums to find tips/tricks 4) realize its only a game…a really fun game! Give valor a try. Especially if you are a fan of any type of multi player sim game.
Game is very time consuming by that we mean addicting it's very fun and you can meet a lot of Great People game makes you think a little it's a team based war game, strategy is everything. New owners of the game r Doing a good job so far fixing bugs banning people who abuse rules. Come join us.
Recommend this game to anyone, been playing it for 6 years now and it is by far the best war/strategy game on the market when you learn all the ropes and begin to play it. Conquering cities has never been more fun, because it actually takes skill and precision. Great community and excellent new ownership who look to constantly innovate and bring happiness to a community.
Unlike most who try, new crew is getting something accomplished.
You can get wiped out of this game at a moments notice when you have only one city, but if you manage to survive to multiple city rounds, it becomes very addictive. Survival and success is based ultimately on team work which is the strength of this game. Ultimately it is a social game and much of the strategy is in diplomacy, alliances and cooperation.
This game is solid. Both entertaining and addictive. Can't get enough. New management has done a great job refreshing the game.
After years of waiting the new owners are taking charge and finally fixing the game. Many bugs have been fixed and we're impressed.
Make a new Game Quark!! The concept of losing everything you build is what we loved. New worlds popping up every couple weeks. NEW GAME.
This is an extremely simple game at its core that makes it easy to jump into but quickly develops depth and complexity that is still easy to follow. Fantastic game! Only con is how addictive it is.
Fun, engaging, richly complex in its simplicity. While software-wise it could use some improvements/enhancements, it provides for hours of entertainment. Beware: you will develop a double life.
We've been playing this since middle school, so about 6 years ago now. Always kept us on our toes with alliances and full world wars. Honestly takes skill to play. But being a veteran player there were some major changes since it started but now it just seems dead. No new content or anything. Really wish you guys could add stuff and maybe change some of the graphics. A new change of scenery would be nice like actual seasons for fall winter spring and summer in the world would be super cool. Maybe even new unit redesign and added troop types. Keep up the great work and bring valor back to its glory.
After playing valor for a couple years we took a break. Tried hundreds of other games but none compare. Of course there are issues from time to time, but when you have a game you truly enjoy you take the good with the bad. If you want a game where it is extremely competitive, non stop action (after initial build up phase), and a great way to meet people from all over the world then we highly recommend valor. warning Not for the weak and Undedicated. If you are not serious about wanting to play a WAR game then don't. But if you don't then you don't know what your missing. Sry g2g. Cities waiting to be taken.
This game is ADDICTING. If you're new and don't find a guild, you're screwed and probably won't like the game, good news is there are new guilds in every world letting players in. The game needs to fix its clock as some seconds are 3 and others are skipped, to even it out it does this. Money spenders(P2P) have a distinct advantage in the first few weeks of a world. However, once you get a month or two in you won't be able to tell. They have a building for competitions yet NEVER EVER run any EVER(just making sure we're clear here, they used to and it was simple and fun!) WHY NO MORE SPEED WORLDS!? Those 8 hour worlds were beast! We loved them! We think they need to speed up troop speed so 2 is the slowest, 3 is mid then make a 4 be the max, but rename them to 1,2,3 obviously. A button to do a simulation from a scouted city would be amazing. We started playing this game almost 7 years ago. At making this review in February 2017, we're back playing our first world in almost a year. Give the game a shot.
We were having a blast with the game but abruptly it stopped connecting and when we reload it says check your internet connection. We are connected and running fine. Dont know if they need a server reboot or what but want to get back at it.

Valor like any other real time strategy isn't a funhouse for people new to the game. You have to know what you are doing to do well (as it should be). We hate games where it's so noob friendly that we get bored within minutes because there's no reward for being good. We don't know what people are talking about with the "pay to win" players being the absolute best. We just played a couple of months ago and was the top player for like a month and then the top KSA player for the entire duration of the world and we only spent $10. Again, it's a real TIME strategy. We play when we have insane time to devote to the game, and money = time so that's how that works. If you want to be a free player you need time, and if you don't have time or money don't play. Play in an old world just to practice building and join a new world when it opens, wait two days and join the top ranking guild cause you have are top 10 in points. Everyone will let you in :D Now valor has lacked support for a while now, but we see they recently went under new management so we hope that changes things so 3/5 until the support becomes evident.
Love it. Just give us the option to enjoy the occasional old world. Conquerable barb style old world with old world barbs at the same time. Sounds fun. Very fun Update May 14th 2023 Decided to rejoin for the nostalgia. And the bugs are simply outrageous now. The game hasnt been updated in 6 years according to the App Store. We dont think its worth going back to anymore. Not to mention we bought and used gold in a world then it closed permanently after we did it. Definitely salty. Who wouldnt be. We sure hope this gets some TLC. We love this game.
This game use to be so much fun about 5 years ago, but this game has died. The community that use to play this game were people who were open and friendly. Now you will be lucky to get a message back from someone. If your a new player don't even waste your time because you will be entering a world with guilds already established that are much larger and nearly impossible to join. This is a very time consuming game and unless you pay money to get ahead in the game, don't even bother to waste your time.
Played other games like this one and was not impressed. Game system the developers put together is not bad, community is already established and would not let anyone join their guilds for protection for fear of spies. The UI for messaging and guild joining could be improved. With no guild, bigger players will just wipe you out forcing you to start over and re-do hours of work.
As a long time player we recently came back to the game, we remember how much fun it was and with alittle more time to play we wanted to jump back in, however its impossible to get our old account back as every time we try and send a transfer email it never gets into our account, we would like to get all our old medals back as we worked very hard for them. We tried emailing their support directly and sending the merger email but got no response terrible and unfortunate as we really do love the game.
This game has become truly unplayable. There are about 6-8 people who play who control the world each time one opens immediately. They destroy and take your city the moment they notice you on the map. This game stinks, every 24-48 hours you are starting all over again from square one. They obviously spent their lifes savings on coins to buy power ups because their cities and troops grow 10X faster than yours. This is a horrible waste of time, its annoying there are just a few names that pop up in every world and dont let you play. DONT DOWNLOAD, you wont be able to play.
Came back and played a world with our brother. This game has now become trash. Everyone jumps multiple accounts. There are glitches to even clone accounts. They used to ban people over this but we guess they stopped because from the last world we played we noticed everyone doing it. Looks like we will be in search of a new game again. The Devs arent doing anything but opening worlds at this point so Id suggest finding a new game to invest your time and money in as this one hasnt came out of its trashy abyss.
The developers of this game simply do not care about its player base, worlds are set to open on specific dates with set specs for how the world will be framed. Player base took several weeks to set up a player led world and the dev released it with the wrong specs and refused for 12 hours to change it. The game needs to be sold to someone willing to work on it. It has great potential but the wrong people backing it.
Just so everybody knows, a handful of some of the best players took it upon themselves to force their own rules in the game so everybody is forced to play by their rules. They play politics and make all the decisions. Ive played this game for several worlds and it has been completely ruined not only for us, but for lots of people because this handful of people get what they want and what they want is for them and their close buddies to be the winners in every world. Real great. Fun game. Would play again to get screwed.

The game crashes…. A lot! Also it's Pay to Win, if you don't drop a ton of money in you're done. We've played this on PC back before mobile apps and those were the days! Honestly they should bring back the old style of gameplay.
The new owners have ruined the sanctity of gameplay by intervening on the worlds when they seem fit and giving and unfair advantage to certain players. This game used to be great. Maybe one day when the bugs are corrected and the game doesn't freeze during attacks we'll try again.
We wish the would make all new rules in a new world instead of banning people and letting them get capped by red! They are loosing their minds. New worlds would be better to start new rules! Not in the middle of a world going on and then ban people! Need new ownership now to save game.
This used to be a great game but more and more it has been taken over by people who drop over $100 in each world just to win. Unless you plan on spending a lot of money and get no sleep to keep your cities safe your are just fodder for the coiners.

Management from what we have seen so far is pretty bad and they get their feelings hurt pretty easily.. As for game software, there has always been bugs and there still hasn't been any kind of updates to help or reduce bugs. The game is fun and addicting but when management problems and game bugs start happening, it is pretty frustrating. Specially because hundreds of people actually buy gold in the game so when bugs do happen, management deals with it poorly. That's just how we personally see it.
After playing for many years and through many changes.. We're about done with this game. Having the support team that saw fit to use third party apps to communicate with us, then decide that players using the same third party apps violates terms and agreements, only too then ban players because they didn't like feedback. Well, we can't support any game that contradicts itself this badly. More than that… Continued issues with servers and updates that have been promised for over 5 years. . This game is dead.. Looking for something better.
How can a world be considered new when they have players with 1mil points and then drop newer people by these monsters when there is a clear disadvantage? Don't understand and don't plan to stick around to try to.
Game has a ton of glitches, a ton of bugs. It is unplayable. Nothing works as it should. On top of that company is taking money for in game purchases but never gives you gold for winning. Complete disaster.
For a while it was interesting. Yes, they get you on build speed ups, but not too bad…had an interesting mini-war with one of our neighbors, until we reached the 10K point threshold and suddenly one of the super guilds just swooped in a bunch of armies, and swallowed us whole. Turns out, they just farm players, letting them do the logistical work, until the city is worth just claiming. Don't waste your time.
This game has some serious issues stalls all the time and customer service is even worse than the game leaving us feeling ripped off (don't spend any money on this game)or you will feel this way to.
Well when the game is up and working it's great. Currently has crashing issues, can't launch attacks, can't que buildings without it crashing, can't get into forums without it crashing. It's a real pain in the posterior end!!! Needs work.
