Community Insight:

Its actually so annoying that the spin is always as the top we would rather it be in the middle cuz then we know we wont scratch if we forget to reset it its always at the very top.

We wish add new pool table like diamond, predator, rasson.

Trust us, add new table, new ball, more realistic cloth.

Developers must release this to android.

Could you please add vibration feedback to the game? Example: When the cue stick hits the cue ball & also when the ball goes into the hole the phone vibrates. It feels interesting while playing. (You can add this feature as an option in the game setting. It would be great. Thank you in advance for listening to all the user comments and quick updates to make this VirtualPool even better & more enjoyable.

Seems with each update it gets worse. Been playing this a long time and again career mode wont launch and just crashes the game. Hustler career mode works now and then but is also faulty. Hopefully we wont have to delete and reinstall yet again as we will lose all our data and be at zero. Very frustrating.

Game ang b li v vn ci t im cht ca bi.

This is by far one of if not the best mobile pool game. How ever we dont understand why the developer would charge to play other game types like 9 ball for example. We would understand a supper op cue or something like that but not another game mode, and before you ask we know that its for the developer to make money.

This new version is streamlined a bit from the original iPad version but its the only game available that is actually very close to playing real pool. If you play the tour the tables will increase in difficulty which is what you want. Nothing comes close Virtual Pool when you wanna to feel like shooting but cant get out there to do it. Give this a try if you actually like shooting and if you want to improve your game.

The most recent update is terribly flawed. 1) The controls and navigation are no longer intuitive. Impacts finger movements. 2) You can no longer tap to remove the ball counter. It makes it impossible to view longer shots. 3) The program crashes after touching the play button. Restarting the phone and resorting back to a fresh install does not help. This version is not even close to the past release. The pinball option is a waste of screen layout. Otherwise we love what youre doing with the app.

Why change things that didnt need to be changed? When we opened up our vp4 we noticed it was abit different and after some time realised it had been updated for the first time in a long time. Our career and our tour games became unplayable as our cue wouldnt shoot the cue ball. It would pull back ok but pushing forward to shoot just wouldnt work. So we figured since it was an update then uninstalling and reinstalling would probably fix it. This did work and we were able to shoot but NOT as normal. Not only did we lose all our pro tour and hustler games but To our horror everything had changed on the interface. Shooting the cue is no long done by putting your finger on the cue and pushing forward but now the cue is at the right of the screen and the strength of shot is now determined by how far you pull back but instead of pushing the cue forward you let go of the cue. Putting English in the ball is now done horribly different. You click on the cueball at the bottom of the screen and you are then greeted with a big cue all with a dot and you move the dot according to how much English you need. We could go on. We have been a fan of virtual pool since the early days where we started with VP2 we think. We used to be a regular on game spy for years playing with PC with vp3 and VP4. Circumstances took us away from pc playing and a few years ago discovered the phone version which Ive loved and never stopped playing it since we installed it. Now this update has completely ruined for us. We hate it now because its not the game Ive loved and played for many years. We dont know if its possible to revert back to the previous version but if not Im going to have to uninstall and find an alternative. We dont think Ill be able to find a pool game as good as VP4 was before this update tho. Very sad.

We still play this game on our computer. The app is a big improvement over the old one. However there is one bug where at a certain point we can no longer backstroke and we have to quit the game. The backstroke mode doesnt detect any touch on the pool cue. We play 3C. Thanks.

The best Pool simulator ever we give you 5 star but please update the game frequently in month for better experience These are our request for next update : 1. (The most important one) please add ONLINE multiplayer section to the game ( No matter how hard artificial intelligence is, playing against humans with different levels of difficulty is more enjoyable ). 2. Add Slow Motion feature for REPLAY : You can add an option that by holding the REPLAY button, it will slow down in a smooth and cinematic way at the moment of the shot, which is an attractive effect, and by releasing it, it will play at normal speed. 3. Add Chalk function : Chalk is an Inseparable part of pool & cue please add it to game ( you can add it as an potion in setting for who want to have this option as an extra feature ). 4. Add custom a section to store : VP can earn more money from different custom for cues, more tables and locations, more tables colors (There are several colors already in the setting, but more colors in different tone can be more attractive, for example, more common types of green, blue, red, and light gray) and even more balls custom with different styles and fonts. If you add more custom to the game we will buy them all ;) 5. Add vibration function in mobile version : Vibrate the phone when cue hit the cue ball and also when a ball drop in hole, it can be feels cool ;) 6. More details for tables fabric : Add an option in setting (same as color) for Adding realistic details to tables fabrics (like Hawg Pens table texture) Big tables are soulless, unlike the small tables in the start of the game for example: Garage, Pit shop and Hawg pen, adding details to the big tables makes them more realistic graphically. Thanks in advance VP.

One bug- very difficult to select ball on also,Just wish couple things – skip faster.. Not have to wait for computer to do practice strokes – slow mo replay – undo in career modes let us cheat if we want its just a game.

First off, its a beautiful game. The developers genuinely did a great job at making this game. Its very realistic and the physics accounts for things like cue ball deflection, cut/spin induced throw of the object ball, accurate mechanics when hitting the rails, etc. Heres some improvement ideas. -Online mode. No reason why there cant be an online mode. You could easily make a lot of money on micro-transactions for skins and better performing cues and whatnot. -Needs better AI. Especially with how good the average person can be with ball tracking mode (Im on level 3000 almost on there), the AI just has no chance to beat you, no matter how hard the difficulty is. There should be a Ronnie OSullivan level-good AI for the snooker mode especially. The highest break the AI can get is around 50, and we average about 75 per break. The cushion games could also use an improvement in the AI. -There are some games that you cant play against the AI. Im not exactly sure why, but we feel like we shouldnt have to play against ourselves to play a game.

It doesnt get better than this. Great physics, great controls, great graphics. The AI isnt perfect, but its really good. Some subtle physics that are missing spin induced throw being one. But for the most part everything is perfect. Theres no better pool game on the App Store! One thing Id love to see: the ability to place balls in practice mode. We would like to be able to practice specific shots.

Cool game, good action, we just cant figure out how to use the cue sticks we purchased. We can toggle between the jump cue easily, but we cant figure out how to use our break cue and playing cue. When Im taking a shot, the cue stick looks like its always the house cue. Great game though and a lot of fun.

As great as the previous VP games were, the 4th takes it to another level. While we miss hearing Curlys narration, the game more than makes up for it with a great tournament play system, the ability to buy your own cues, break cues, jump cues and upgrade the cue shafts as well. The one gripe we have, though we are not taking off any stars for it, is that the computer opponent difficulty is to the extreme. We have it set to easy currently while we get used to the new game and the computer opponents are running the table on us. If thats on the easy setting, we shudder to think what the harder settings are like. Love the game though.

Hands down the best 3D pool game around. Celeris did an incredible job on this game. Only advice we would give is to practice your shot control with cue ball. If you just aim and shoot you will probably be scratching a lot. Many negative reviews state that this is why they dont play. Even in real pool this ability to control your cue ball after the initial strike is what separates beginners from seasoned players. Ive gotten much better at this game and rarely scratch as a result of practicing cue ball control. They have made a great game that in our opinion is far more realistic than any other. If you like pool and want an app to be as close to the real thing as possible then you need to download this game. Its awesome.

It took us a while searching the App Store to find a pool game we could settle into. All we really wanted was an old fashioned experience without all of the assistance, like aim assistance or ball trajectories, and without the game things. This has what we wanted, and more. The Graphics and control are excellent. We can turn off the assistance features and, if we want to, we can play solo or against an ai opponent. Theres also a couple different career modes. For free, theres a lot to have fun with. We gave it 4 stars instead of five because when we first started the app it halted and wouldnt proceed. We thought it crashed, but it eventually entered the title screen. Havent had any problems since.

Love this game on the PC and was impressed to find a great port on here. Our only gripe is that we cant listen to music or podcasts while playing. Online play would be great too.

Its a fun game. Live the cue mechanism. If you played other games in this series, you know what we mean. The power of the shot depends on how far you drag the pool back and forward. Much better than those games where you tap on a slider to determine the power of the shot. We took one star away because Ive never, in all our years of playing pool seen the white ball end up in the pocket so often. Seems like pockets are black holes for the cue ball. The tables also seem too fast. The white rolls on forever. Wish we could slow down the tables. Happens on all difficulty levels. Im currently playing straight pool on Hard. Still a lot of fun.

We bought the 4.99 pack and it charged us 21$ we wanna know why.

After playing for quite a while the game has glitches in a way that makes the camera angle unusable and makes the game unplayable. Ive tried closing and restarting the app, rebooting our phone, and manually changing the camera settings. So we gave up and started a new career but it happened again. Please fix this issue.

Paid for the full hame package. Says everything is installed, but will only let us play 6 ball. No way we can get our money back that we can find. Beware! Obviously, we would give this a minus 5 stars.
