Its a great game. A little frustrating because of the limited population size. But that just makes it a bit more challenging. Ill take that over needing to pay. Theres a great wiki for puzzle solutions, and we adore how you arent punished for all your villagers dying. You just get new ones, and they keep the tech points, food, and upgrades you had. Its a wonderful game. Making an elder is hard, cause you cant use the breeding trick, but with an event for either instant master doctor or builder, you can level up farming and research pretty quick, and get an elder. Its takes a bit of luck, cause sometimes the villager just wont do it, but its possible.
U only get a population of 8 villagers and it takes too long to kill off a villager even if it says sick its best to have at least two kids because u need the kids for collectibles.
You can keep your fire going by dragging a villager over to dry wood and he will put more on fire making it last longer but no u shouldnt let it go out.
EVERY USER EXEPT ME IS DUMB BECAUSE YOU CAN RE-MAKE THE FIRE!!!! GODDAMNIT PEOPLE!!! And if the algae spreads upgrade the tech for farm then you can get coconuts from the tree and when the palm trees run out upgrade again to get food from the patch buh-bye peeps.
The game is still fun, but after the iOS 10 update, the tech prices (except for Level 2 Farming) doubled. For example, Level 3 Farming, which used to cost 90,000 tech points, now costs 180,000 tech points. It was better before with the original prices.
We set the females of 20-45 to "parenting" before we go to bed on fast speed. We woke up to 27 villagers! Beyond what is supposedly possible. However, we have not been able to complete all the puzzles because they all died or are to old to have babies now. Have 3 puzzles to finish. These games should all be free in our opinion. This one we have played for many years and have yet to finish all the puzzles. And yes we could get it for the $.99 but why.
Nowyall know yall wrong for making some of these tiers on this game an absurd amount in order to unblock the next level. 180,000 tech points for level 3 farming??? 32,000 just to be able to accumulate more tech points? Thats wild.
Its really cool we like it becase you can do many different things.
Love this game it's not as fun as the PC one but we still like this one needs more updates.

Ok guys, we just found out a cool cheat! Pick a child (any child) and drag them to the tiny island in the lagoon. The island is near the edge near the vines. Put them there. The child is now trapped! Mwahahahaha! Note: If you get off the game and then get back on, the child will free himself.
Finally got the chance to beat it… It was great.
How do we fix a fire in the oven and does it rain everyday.
This gane is great and to you that said you can only have 8 villagers we just defied your logic we have the lite version and we have 12 villageres no im not lying and no no glitch one day we got a message saying that 2 villageres fell through the water fall that the 2 adults knew so there we had 10 but then one of them was a trainee parent so she kept going indoors with one of our villageres with out us telling them to because we cant and then today we went on our game and we had 12 villagers because 2 of our lady villagers decied BY THEMSELVES to go have babies so yea its possible!! ~to emilee To keep them alive "longer" put the game to 1/2 speed that way they dont eat as much yet you gain tech points as quickly as it would be getting if its normal or 2X speed. To get rid of the algea you need lvl 3 farming and we think a master farmer or adept farmer or reaserchers so they will transport algea eating fish to the ocean and ta-dah! You can fish again!! And to get to stew thingy you need lvl 2 exploration and it will show up in the wood pile ~hope this helped! :).
If you start building you just have to wait for the cauldron to appear and the grass is by the coconut trees and one of the plants.

Where do we find dry grass in the game ?!??!! PLEASE ANSWER.
You can remove the algae by completely finishing the farming technology tab. Then drag your professional scientist to the lagoon. They will grab algae eating fish and release them into the ocean. Then you will have fish to catch! Any other questions just type HELP CARLY in the title.
So if your lake has the green stuff, you have to save up your tech points and upgrade farming. You will get coconuts. The coconuts will so be gone so… Save your tech points to upgrade building. After that get a master scientist to look at the narrow stream area where the patch of soil is. After that drag the villagers to the narrow passing between the soil and stream to build a dam. Then drag a builder to the wood source near the thorns to build a scarecrow. Then get your villagers to grow your crops. ( to avoid death of the villagers try to pause the game over night. This will slow down skill and learning but will avoid them to die.) Hope that helps.
How do you get the algae out of the lake.
Its super fun but u should really add like a game you can play or somthing you know like a matching game! :).
If u r having trouble on this game and want to get coconuts or want to get rid of the algae just go to the safari app and search up "virtual villagers 2 cheats." It is a lot easier an has step by step directions. It is wat we use all the time and we can't stop using it so we recommend it if you want to find answers to this really amazing game.

Ok, we've researched EVERYTHING, and we've hit the gong of wonder once and there were five little rain bows, now what will happen?! We have only six people left, and all are too old to reproduce, what should we do.
Hey guys! We see someone has had problems with the freezing so the way to fix this is to go into the options and it should say that the game is paused to touch the normal or what ever speed you want and that should fix it! And one of our favorite games EVER.
There's a really easy trick you can use to keep your villagers from starving when the fish go away called not sucking at this game.
First you have to upgrade farming all the way. One you have fully researched it, take a Master Scientist to the pond and the will catch algae eating fish. Hope this helps. That's how to get rid of the algae in the ocean.
No affence but it's boring a little bit. But we have some ideas. 1:Get more than just 8 villgers on lite version. 2:Get more places for huts. 3:Get more food sorces. Hope to see them in the next update!:).
How do we get the dang algae off the ocean.
Help! We have one female villager left, and she is 69. We don't have the gong, but we have 6 males. Can someone help us? We tried the stew that is supposed to help, but it didn't. This all happened because the game wouldn't let us hAve more than 8 villagers.
This game is really good especially if you're looking for a challenge. We were not looking for a challenge when we downloaded this, so we didn't play it for long. Only download if you want a challenge.

It's a good game but on our phone it's hard to drag them. :( we bring on the on virtual families 2.
If you have full version drag you person to the sand box. There, they will find a handle for the shed. When he is done fixing the handle into the shed, drag your person to the WELCOME mat to get the key to unlock the shed. There you find the fire extinguisher. When the top thing says " he sees the fire extinguisher!" , drop your person there and he will walk to the sight. Also works with lint fires. Game is awesome just got it though. Need help with shower toilet clogs write a review we tried what you said cheat guy works except when she " plays in narrow stream" fun game addicting need a bf think your interested write a review have to have game though.
How do you get rid of the algae.

Ok if you really want a real review for this game read this! Virtual Villagers 2 lite is amazing for a lite version. The main focus of the game are its puzzles. Each puzzle requires logic and observation. If you look at the reviews of people who do not like this game you will see that one thing they all have in common is they complain about not being able to have a child more than once. This is true. In the lite version you may only have one child until one of your villagers die (which will happen). But as we said before this game is centered on puzzles. So if you are coming to this game to make lots of families and babies this is NOT the game for you! If you get the full version you will be able to have as many kids as housing allows. BUT to tell you the truth if you have babies as your main focus all you villagers WILL die, you WILL lose the game, and you will miss out on an amazing game! As for the other complaint about being allowed only 100 tech points we BEG TO DIFFER! These people do not know how to play the game. You can earn as many tech points as you are patient enough to wait for. We will admit that it takes a long time to get very many tech points but that is the genius of the game!!! The whole point is to wisely lead your villagers threw the course of their survival, this requires balance of their time and yours! We have enjoyed this game greatly! We have often become board of games that offer no great trials but this game fills our thirst for a good challenge! If your looking for a game that will take some brain power you have found it and you will enjoy all the well made puzzles that await you. So what you should take from this review is one question… ARE YOU READY FOR A CHALLENGE.
We luv tha game it's just that how do we go to the rest of the island cause we're still in the first section of the island that your automatically on when you start the game.
How can u have a baby somebody help us.
Every time we try to make children, it tells us that we have maxed out our population. But then the population keeps growing on its own? When we come back to the game there's like 3 more children than before. And the only villager that could make children died and now we have to wait until the population goes back down so we can force more children. This is tricky because the youngest villager would be like 40 or 50 years old and can't make children. This game kinda sets you up to fail unless you buy it for 99 cents.
