You can pause it so you can take a break off from it and no one will die or get sick they just stand in the same spot you put them just click options and press pause simply as that.
We have had this problem for two days, and we wanted you to know that we have no idea how to get food. We restarted the the game so we could get help. It says nothing about how to get food. Even when our people say "worried about food." Other than that it's a great game. You did a great job with the game by the way.
Its a good game but the flaw is food runs out too fast we played this game for about two days and we cant get the fruit from the tree, grilled so we cant have food. We like the details of it, but thats the flaw. Also that is why this game has two stars. We were looking forward to this game and it left us disappointed. Last Day of Work please hear our plea and fix the game, Thank you.
You cannot complete all of the puzzles without paying real money.
We left our tribe on pause and a few days later our tribe was deleted. We grew attached to our tribe and we wish to have our tribe back.
We gave five stars because us our sister and our family one bad thing villagers die that's right die we know bad.
We like the game, but one person who rated 1 * is complaining too much. Hey, if your villagers die, there's a start over button on the menu, am we right!? So these complainers BETTER shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(.
We used to play the free demo on our pc and it was a blast. You do need to watch them until you get them on a sustainable food source,but once they learn that you're fine. Our only issue is the 9 population limit- you need 20 for puzzle 12 so why not make the limit 20? Other than that, it's awesome.
If we were ever able to purchase the full version, would it let us transfer our data.
We love this game and have been playing it foe a few months. One of our villagers reached the age of 100 and died!!! Is that even possible.
This game is so cool but it's hard to do certain things so can somebody tell us how to finish the stew.

We LOVEEEE virtual villagers 4! We think it's our fave<3 we just love the puzzles, their just our level, and the selection of people, and we've made a very Special bond with our Little people<33 we really don't mind the ads! Just x it out! And most of the ads are just a banner in to top, no biggy! We're planning on buying the full version.
We love the game except when we try to shake down fruit, it just poofs out of their hands! Please HELP.

Love everything about it except we can't make babies our last female and we need more villagers and she won't have babies suggestions help? Worth the time and money.
For those having trouble with the fruit cooking, well you have to take the rocks of the cooking pit next to the fruit trees, than when you're done with that you grab the rocks and take them to the fire and wait until the rock heats up one by one, It takes about four.. Than get the leaves on the tree next to the blueberries and take them to the cooking pit, FINALLY you can cook you're fruit.
Please make a version that shows the stork bring a baby! We cannot play anymore if you don't! We are a huge fan and we are BEGGING you! PLEASE.
We love this game, but when you shake that fruit tree they catch the fruit but it doesn't go back to the food bin. That is our only issue, but overall, it's a Great Game to play.

It's a really good app and all but whenever we try to cook it says it's too hot or cold. How do you cook on here.

Ok we absolutely luv this game and ive had it on our ipad for a while now, but recently, when we try play it and it shuts down at the loading screen and wont let us play the game. Bug problem? Plz fix!! :(.
We think it's better than all the rest!!! Virtual family is cool too! This is the only one of Virtual Villagers we kept!!!! It's so fun we check up on them everyday after school and before school! Get this it's defiantly worth the download.
We had this game for our iPod touch and saw the HD version available for the iPad and had to get it. We love how clearly everything came out. Wish the ads weren't there though. There is a bar of ads that pops up across the screen at the very top every now and then. It does not get in the way making you accidentally click it. It just shrinks and stretches the game window a little when it pops up. Not as annoying as other games with ads.
We it but then we didn't becuz idk how to cook the flowers and the fruit.
Another great (and possibly our favorite) addition to the VV series. And honestly, we don't really care about the ads if it means a free app.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!! Ssssssoooooo fun and amusing but the ads are really annoying. Can you please get rid of them in the next update? You don't have to, but it would be more fun and easier if the ads were removed.
This game is good, but u can't populate if u dont have the full version like us. But that, it's good.
We honestly love this game, and we were finally actually getting the hang of it and surviving. The only problem is that EVERY single baby we had was a girl. Eventually our last male died, and we couldn't do anything else with keeping the population going. We wish that the boys and girls were more equaled out. Other than that, it's a great game and super fun.
Could have a bit more excitement.
When it comes to choosing your characters in the beginning you should be able to go back if you like a characters strengths instead of rejecting all the others to get all the way back to it. For the baby's arrival we think it should be 45min instead of the 256min or whatever it is.

It's a pretty good game, but we never have enough tech points to do more advanced things and our people die after a few days. But in those few days of game play, it's a fun game. HOW TO PLUG THE HOLE IN THE STREEM First you need a villager that is an adept scientist AND an adept builder. Clear all the debris that is next to the waterfall When you get it all cleared, you will see a stone kinda shaped like a boomerang by the ocean that the waterfall used to land on before you cleared it. With your villager that is an adept scientist and adept builder, drag it on the stone and it will take it to the hole. Hope that helped.
We really do like it we even have the first version on our computer, but the limit on population we really lame. We understand because it's free but at least limit it to 25 so we can finish the game.
Anyone can tell us how to clean the moss covered over the odd rocks pls.
We love the game, and we don't mind the ads, but please limit it to at least 15 villagers! We mean, as soon as we got this game we thought it would let you have at least 15. But it will only let you have 9! How am we supposed to earn trophies?! Please update. We would not even mind if you limited the amount of players. Thank you.
This game is amazing we spend so much time playing but, there's a couple thing that really bug us. 1. We stopped playing for a few hours and 2 of our people died everyone was starving and our stream wasn't flowing. 2. The stream should stay flowing once you have cleared all the debris. We like the fact it's realistic and can get clogged again but if we have to play non-stop than we won't be able to play the game. 3. The last thing this game is to confusing, if we didn't cheat by looking on the internet we would not be where we are now. Example: how is anyone supposed to know that only an almost master scientist and builder can place the keystone for the river.
Grab fresh water ( from the top bowl next to the waterfall ) grab a rock next to the stairs (the fat one thats short)and your villiger will put it in the fire and wait until it is red then grab it and they will put it under the couldron of fresh water ( must be filled first ) and then grab the three differ herbs ( the red one close to the mausolium, the yellow one that you see in the little ditch next to the stairs of the research place the rocky one and last the white one thats almost under the stairs the short fat one and next to the rocks ) then once theyre all on the table drag a villiger to the cooking area and their action will be cooking and the pot will steam but heat up another rock as it will eventually get cold ( when there is no more steam ) then put that rock in again and just let it do its thing. Rating not five cause it paused and it pauses freaking eternally and not just this one.
We made it really far and now we're at the very very low capacity. We want to just continue our game but we can't if we've bought the new version.
But we were disappointed to find our population limit didn't go up after finishing the collections. It didn't say that part in the instructions. We can't really finish the last two puzzles, and we have come this far so we guess we will see what other free games there are that are similar. Fun puzzles though, they make you think. We like the little people too.
We remember playing the first virtual villagers on a palm pilot we think, fun game though difficult when we were that age. We were happy when we found out the games were for iOS, so we quickly got the free versions of all of them. And though every game is fun and unique in its own ways, they all suffer from the same stupid flaws (not sure about the 5th one as we haven't played it yet) 1) no zoom? You'd think a touch-based port of a game would support multi touch… 2) pop limits? Hey we understand you gotta make money, but tech costs are already large, and they are in-app payments, pop limits are just annoying and don't make us want to buy the game. 3) random resets? Fr too often our game randomly gets reset, and obviously this is annoying. 4) babysitting? And no, we don't mean taking care of babies. We mean having to watch over every villager to make sure they don't get distracted, or even to make sure they correctly "learn" how to do a thing, like pick fruit or pick debris. Why can't we just drop them on the fruit tree and trust that they aren't so stupid so as to not know how to pick a blackberry? If we drop a villager on a blackberry bush, if he's to learn, why not make him fail, and then try again automatically? Having him get distracted afterwards is just extremely annoying and is just a stupid game mechanic. We know this is an old game and probably lays on deaf ears, but at least any new comers to the game will have something to expect.
