Community Insight:
Thank you devs for creating such a sweet game to help us during the day.
This app make us so happy when we are sad or mad.
To start, we were falling in love with this game, its cute, and we do like how relaxed it is and promotes you to check in on yourself + we generally really like the design of these guys. However, morally we dont really stand with the prevalence of AI features within everything recently and how unnecessary they are and taxing to the environment. Notably, in mental health settings, AI chatbots have caused issues pertaining to advice as well as create an unhealthy parasocial dynamic between users and said AI. We think when it comes to socialization, users should be encouraged to seek interaction more meaningfully between other individuals. Id be a bit more relaxed on this if there was a feature allowing you to turn it off, but playing this knowing the feature is supported in the first place isnt really comfortable for us and Im not sure whether Ill continue playing due to it. We had friends who were willing to be referred as well, but declined upon finding this out.
OK we LOVE COLLECTING ALL THE VOIDPETS AND we HAVE ALL OF THEM AND we HAVE THEM ALL TO STAGE 5 EXCEPT FOR ONE. They dont have a plant to get them to come to our garden, atleast not that we know of, the Voidpet is charity. Does anyone know how we can get them tbh?? Okay but seriously though we love this game, we also hate the feature for the exploring thing thats like your teams power attracted stronger foes like bro we dont need that we just want to level up our Voidpets to level 20 (atleast we had them all leveled up to level 20 before that happened) we also love this game so much that we lowkey created our own Voidpet and its so silly and the Voidpet is called silly we lowkey wish this was popular enough to be its own fandom but its a little app that only 1-2 people made a video on in TikTok, and the Voidpet TikTok account, but all it talks about is Voidpet DUNGEON and we want more about Voidpet GARDEN Anyways in summary this game is so peak and we love it we js cant get charity and we need to know how.
Found this game basically completely by chance while looking for a replacement for a mental health app that we fell in love with but had almost no free features This. Is. A thousand. Times. Better!!!! Just complex enough to capture attention when you want something to focus on, but simple enough not to take you from your real world/real life. We also love how it helps us empathise with our own emotions in a way we otherwise tend not to do. We hope this sticks around, keeps growing, and spreads to more people its such a joy its replaced our doomscrolling! And another excellent thing for the quality of experience NO ADS!!! There is a premium tier, but theres no FOMO without it, either. If we could rate twenty stars we would. Highly HIGHLY recommend.
We downloaded this app when we found it sometime in April of this year (2025). Since then, Ive used it EVERY DAY! We used the free version for awhile, and then when we were able to pay for a year upgrade, we did just that. To be able to keep journal logs of our days and talk to our pets has been well worth the payment. It has significantly helped us in a way we never saw coming. We recently also got sober, March 11,2025. So Ive used the app to track our sobriety and make journal entries about it and various changes and events in our life since. We have recommended this app to many. We never forget to log a day because, this app has been a huge factor in our recovery. Because of our love for this app, we also downloaded voidpets dungeon and have been gifted the e-book: Hands of Greed:The World of Voidpet. And we can say that the other app and book are amazing as well. However, we would love to see more things added to this app in particular. Make it more involved with the garden part, and interactive with the voidpets. Other than that, we are an avid Voidpetter (? If thats what you call it) Im so over the moon with this app. Thank you to the creators! Please keep voidpets going because, Id be really darn sad if it ended, ever.
Just try it, 10/10 Its hard to explain how incredible this tool is and how much it has helped us. We struggle with depression and anxiety and ADHD too. This game is the best low pressure way we have found to log our emotional health. Its calming and relaxing while still being engaging enough that Im opening it again and again. Its not judgmental if you miss days and usually has some kind of encouragement for consistency. The way that it blends journaling activities and meditation with a creature collection and battling game is amazing. It shouldnt work but somehow it does. As you play, it will also sometimes remind you of previous journal entries. Being comforted by your own words from days or weeks ago is amazing. It has so many features that we have only just scratched the surface. We are grateful that it is free to use as financing can be a huge barrier to getting help. Like any therapy tool we think its only worth what you put into it, but Ive found it to be a game changer for us. You cant know if it will help unless you give it a shot.
The game can give you a place to go if youre stressed out or you need to vent, also there are advantages that you can go do with your Voidpet. Its a really fun game and we recommend it.
We love Voidpet Garden a lot, and it has so much to do to care for yourself and the garden in it, plus the voidpets are so cute! Theres just one thing that could be better. If possible just adding in unlimited chatting with your pets would be great. Sharing your thoughts with them unlimited in our opinion is very healthy and positive. It makes us feel like Im such good friends with the pets. If this were done for free, Id be much happier on the app.
We really like this app. Its helped us with our mental health and the art is so cute.
Your game is good. No. Your game is great. But there is a MASSIVE problem with it. The micro-transactions. Look, we get it, its impossible to make a game with no ads and no micro-transactions AND be free. But Im not saying to COMPLETELY get rid of these offers. We suggest a way to entirely hide every trace of these stress inducing offers, like a little button, and maybe add in a donation feature that is much more calming and casual. This game is about MENTAL HEALTH and be bombarded with Upgrade Now is very stressful. All Im saying is that if this were to ACTUALLY be implemented, you could really show that you listen to and you CARE about your community. Thank you for your time, we hope someone reads this. -Echo.
This game is very good. Not only is it fun it also helps with emotional health.
It's a cute game, but we're not entirely convinced this company is not collecting or selling data especially because of the fact that they have an AI chat bot in it.
We downloaded Voidpet Garden because we enjoy Voidpet Dungeons and was curious how that world could translate into a self-care app. The idea of turning emotional awareness into a game mechanic is creative, but the execution feels scattered. The app lacks clear information architecture and task hierarchy. When opening it, you are immediately confronted with too many disconnected systems: mood tracking, gardening, battling, quests, etc. None of these features feel prioritized or connected through a cohesive flow. There's no clear entry point, which makes the overall experience confusing. The core interaction loop is weak. Behavioral design depends on a simple trigger, action, and reward cycle. Here, that loop is buried under seemingly unrelated mechanics that compete for attention. Checking in with your emotions feels secondary to maintaining plants or collecting pets, which dilutes the intended purpose. The constant context switching creates unnecessary cognitive load and limits engagement. Discoverability and affordance are inconsistent. Wellness tools are hidden in nested menus or appear sporadically, making it difficult to form habits. The interface looks charming but prioritizes aesthetics over usability, which reduces clarity and function. The monetization model also hurts the experience. Core features such as viewing are locked behind an expensive subscription. For a product marketed as a mental health tool, hiding core features behind a paywall feels misaligned and tone-deaf. Finally, the content depth is shallow. Prompts and emotional tracking feel generic, and there is little opportunity for meaningful reflection or long-term progress. Apps like Daylio or Finch deliver much stronger structure and feedback for building consistent habits. The concept of visualizing emotions as creatures is excellent, and the art direction is appealing. However, without a clear focus, strong task hierarchy, and accessible reflection tools, Voidpet Garden feels like several half-developed ideas competing for attention rather than a cohesive experience.
This app is more of a garden app then a mental health app.
Its a really amazing app with great artwork and characters the only thing we do wish is that you could link it to Voidpet dungeon and maybe move over voidpets to each respective app. But still definitely worth getting.
We cant even lie this game is helping us so much mentally in such a fun and calming way id definitely reccomend it if you care about your mental :33 some more personalization options would be rlly cool or being able to see your last entries with out giga would be pretty neat but we understand yall gotta pay the bills lol.
Very helpful self care app with diverse gameplay, from pet collection and pet care to turn based battle. It has all-round good quality game design and it even helps us remember to drink water and calms us down when Im overthinking. Voidpet Garden is a fun little game and a helpful daily companion.
So we got this game thinking it was just a Pokemon clone. But OH MY GOD WAS we WRONG! It FREED. MY. MIND. If the creator sees this. Make more games pls.
So great we were always in to like organizing and chart stuff so it was fun we love the emotions of the voidpets fun activities and a cool journal you can decorate and if you go to the void you can battle other voidpets and collect vivids so yeah this is great and Im so excited for an update if you have one we dont know what we want but we think you could add a thing or two thanks for reading great game.
The little creatures and their stories are so relatable and make us feel less alone. The idea of battling your npc friends to prove you are getting stronger is challenging but very rewarding. The emotion nourishment tab is honestly our favorite, and the in depth emotions was not something we expected but it has really helped us to pinpoint what Im feeling, which helps us to figure out why, and then we can face that issue. We started with a Sad pet, we named her Tiffany Triste. Not only are the emotions of the pets relatable, but their designs are actually really cool. Whoever is making this game, please keep at it, its amazing. Our only downside is that the chat with pets feature is extremely limited unless you pay for more. A limited chat per day instead of a limited chat forever would be nice, but alas, it is what it is.
Im in love with this, we love the concept of the creatures and the emotions attached to the creatures. We love the battling and taking care of our pets along with our garden. One complaint is that we think the price for the Giga version is a bit much $10 a month, or $70 up front for the year is too much. We think $5 would be more reasonable, but thats our only complaint. Other than that, we love this app.
This is an amazing game. It is full of fun colors immersive activities and fun and cute pets. Everything resets each day to encourage you to logon more often and we love the animations as well as the art style and all the different void pets grow up to have their own look Theres one that looks like a Fox one that looks like a bird one that looks like a cat and so much more. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Something about the app keeps stopping our music (From a different app). We have sound effects and music turned off on this app.
We have a couple of fun self help/mental help apps and this rates right up there tied for 1st place. If you like raising little monsters where you can battle similar to Pokmon (we assume, our only Pokmon battle experience is Pokmon Go!) and tracking your health at the same time, this is the one to go to. We use it in conjunction with Finch and feel that adds to it, but it is a great standalone app too.
Ive been playing Voidpet for a couple weeks now and found that its very nice to have the little in game rewards for doing mental health exercises like physical check ins and meditation. Its got a simple but rewarding battle system that can be switched off if youre more into collecting the Voidpets and dressing them up or getting the coolest looking colors and variants. The main suggestion Ive got is that Id love to see a way to share your profile with friends, battle their pets, or trade! We think some little decorative items for your garden could also be cool, but the social aspect would help us share the game with others.
So we love the game but theres one thing we dont like, we like the non vivid color we wish there was a way to revert a Voidpets back to the void color, its just that the vivid colors clash with the calm atmosphere.
This is the only game Ive ever rated. Ive always been a sucker for personified emotions and thoughts, and that, PLUS the fact its an emotional wellness game really makes us appreciate it.
Im enjoying this game its helping us when Im stressed.
Hello we're a 14 year old guy we love this app we honestly think our mental health has been getting some how better we love it it's the only one we have been using we have not been using any other ones thank you void pet for this marvelous app we are very grateful that this app exists we don't know where we would be at now if it didn't exist :).
Short tutorial, well used text feature, doesn't take too long to get stuff, no ads, and we don't feel like we have to pay, it feels like we've gotten days of content in only two hours.
Im addicted to this game, Ive been playing for almost a week now and this is just so much fun. Super insightful and immersive with the little characters. This also has a hint of Pokmon battle in it! We only have two complaints that otherwise would have easily earned this game all 5 stars. 1. We wish there was a way to have your pets always be in the yard area. Or maybe click multiple voids to summon? 2. FAQ about the little details in the game would be super helpful. Its not clear what type of element is stronger against another one etc. Not sure what some of the crystals mean. Stuff like that.
We were really obsessed with this game for a couple weeks but it became really boring really fast. Adding a friends option would be nice, and improved accessories and decor for the environment would be awesome. Improved mental health interface would be cool too. We feel like there is a lot of potential for this game.
We tried talking to our pet, just chatting with it, thinking we could do this all the time. We hit a limit, and when we went back the next day, the limit was still there. We didnt realize we had wasted our one and only chat from our pet. Great game, but please make chatting a daily, or at least monthly, occurrence.
This makes mental health and self care feel like a game tbh our only suggestion is to make it so that you have a specific amount of chats daily instead of for the rest of your life because thats a little much. And can you also add a bliss/blissful voidpet.
Absolutely amazing! It has helped us so much already and its only been like 2 days. We enjoy going in and checking on our pets, and taking care of them, plus going to do battles with them and so much more!!! We love how it is called a void pet showing how sometimes if you per se have depression, it really can feel like youre in a void Really great app though.
This is the perfect mix of mental health and game. Its amazing. We would buy the subscription if we were allowed to spend money in games. Love that there are ABSOLUTELY NO ADDS! Thanks to the developers for such an amazing game/mental health app.
This app helped us through a really hard time. In it you care for different emotions, good and bad, equally, befriending them and leveling them up. At first we avoided the bad emotions because they were hurting us in real life, but as we started to care for the little void creatures we were reminded that negative emotions arent bad. Every time we cared for something in the game it reminded us to care for ourselves, all our emotions, and to stop spurn the bad emotions. It was a turning point for us, and this app and the creators have a special place in our heart. Thank you <3.
We love this game. We will recommend it to everyone it Is good for panic attacks and just to calm down. If you are reading this you are probably wondering if you should get it GET IT this game is great.
Unless paid have three times as much content, we dont think $70 USD A YEAR is really worth itno connectivity to the VoidPets Dungeons app, minimal interaction (ironically, VoidPets Dungeons has TOO MUCH going on).
This game is great but we really wish we could invite friends to play with.
Its a nice way to check in with ourselves at the end of every day, its really relaxing and rewarding. One thing we think could be better is the physical check in feature. We think it would be great if the voidpet could respond to your entry according to what option you picked. Since you only get like five moods to pick, it would be nice if there was some kind of response from the pets, for example, if you select that you are feeling bad there could be an encouraging message of some kind. Another suggestion we have is it would be nice if when you upgrade your trees, you could see what theyre gonna look like first.
We were searching through a lot of apps like these and this is the one for us!the art style, monsters and mechanics are just really cool.when we get bored we like to go outside the garden and fight!Although dungeon is more popular, this is the OG.
This is a great game, but Id like to recommend some adjustments. First, pets should have personality. When you text or write letters, it feels less like a friend and more like chat gpt. Second, there should be a quiz to determine what starter you get. Starters determined this way might be some of the rarer voidpets because something something personal. Next, please release the us page faster. We want a custom characterrrrrrrrrrrr! Lastly, Id like an update for the pain sprite. We love this pet but we sorta dislike the sprite, no offense.
We completely understand this isnt a game but more of a mental health check in app. But with all the creatures and color combinations you can collect it feels a bit like a game. We wish there was more to do. The app could be a bit more diverse and interesting. Also the price points for some items are a little high.
We love this one, its so cute, theres not a bunch of ads and bugs, you can easily find your entries and there are multiple tools that are actually helpful when youre in crisis mode. Super useful journaling, calming methods, thought checks, cognitive distortion challenges, we really enjoy this app quite a bit and its helped us become a calmer person overall, thanks for helping us keep our anxiety and overthinking in check. Voidpet garden is definitely worth it.
We mean our mental health is improving ever since we got this app so um yeah.
Against every single mental health game Ive ever played.. Ive always gotten bored of them fairly quickly but THIS GAME. Void pets gardens is such a wonderful past time.
Its like Forest + Daylio + Pokmon Go. A great take on the daily journal genre.
This game is amazing, we love it, the only thing we would say is please give the ai chat feature the most basic memory possible, or allow us to set a name for them to call us. We have literally no complaints about actual gameplay.
