This game is amazing. We love it in VR and the fact that its cross-play with iOS and even has gyro controls is so cool. We love that we have the option to fully immerse ourselves or just sit and flick with our finger.
Pretty good version of the VR game. But some holes and courses just dont work in a mobile app. Sometimes the ball gets stuck to the side of a wall and you cant grab it. Or sometimes theres no way to hit the ball hard enough even though youre at max power. So, good but not great.
We have every dlc on the VR version and love the game. So getting this version for $2.50 was a no brainer.
Would give the game five stars cause the game itself is amazing but every time we play the game it always needs to redownload maps we had already installed the previous time for some reason so we cant play them offline. Apart from that its the perfect mini golf game.
Super fun, amazing courses. Love this on the Meta Quest in VR which got us playing it here too! Great price too.
Its not allowing the in app purchase of the new forgotten fairyland course to work. Please fix.

There are several holes in the VR version that you do trick shots with, which means lining up entirely different than the pocket edition somewhat forces you into. In Tourist Trap Easy, you cant SEE the direction before hitting in a couple holes that go downward. Player should be able to pinch and rotate the screen or zoom in/out a LOT EASIER than currently exists.
This Game is fun we play it every Monday Night with our Grandfather, Dad and Uncle. Could you maybe get permission to make a Undertale Course.
We love walkabout mini golf on the Meta quest. Ive downloaded all the DLCs. – But for some reason on the Apple iOS, version on our phone. No matter what we do, we can only get the free courses to load on our phone. We cant get any of the paid DLC courses. The Get Course button in the app doesnt do anything. And if we purchase a course in the App Store itself, it doesnt show up inside the app. We have uninstalled, reinstalled, and tried everything we can think of.
Huge fan of the original game. Im away on Work, and couldnt bring our oculus. So, we did the best next thing. We bought the app. Im very impressed. Still working on some of the controls, but we think Im gonna get it. We cant wait to try it out with our friends. After that, Ill have to write another review.
Literally our favorite mobile game! Relaxing and fun to play solo or with friends. Plenty of worlds to explore.
Mini golf perfected. Dont waste time or money on any other products, just buy this one and dont look back.
When we first started playing it was great but it has been acting very buggy you play the first hole then it just stops your ball disappears and wont advance you to the next hole except on tourist trap.
Game is awesome, had some issue with gyro stuck on but it got fixed.
This is an amazing app! We own and love the VR one but also love the opportunity to play it on the go on our phone. The Only reason for 4 stars is because the fox hunts are not available.
You cannot connect your meta account with your iOS account, which means you cant have all the things you bought on meta.
Ive played the vr version quite a bit and helped beta test the pocket edition. The early tests werent great. We deleted it. Glad to see the final is so much fun! Good goin, guys.
This is the only golf game we will play. Absolutely love this game. It www our favorite on the meta quest 2 and our favorite phone game.
We gave it 3 stars on release because gyro controls were the only option. As someone who enjoys playing games on the couch/in bed, having to stand to play was a dealbreaker. Im so happy to see they finally added a pull and release option when you hold the phone vertically, which legitimately makes this THE best minigolf game on here. Now if only we could figure out how to get the all in one bundle.
April 13. We came back to update. We wish that we could give this more than five stars. We had a chance to play in a group while we were traveling and its amazing. We were able to play in a group of five people without any problems and we didnt miss our standing Sunday playtime! OROGINAL we have been playing the VR version of this for years. We absolutely love it and Im so excited to be able to play this on our phone. Im very interested to see how this is in multiplayer! So far gameplay is very easy. Its smooth. And we havent found any problems at all.
We have this for our meta quest. Yall so good we dont mind paying twice for content. But could you package them for iOS please? Best multiplayer golf game ever. We love this game.
Play great with all the levels and its really fun. Really wish it had crossover saves from VR.
We recently suffered a back injury and have not been able to play WMG in VR but thanks to this handy app we dont have to worry about missing out on family game night. Takes some getting used to but for 2d its pretty awesome.
We have played this game in VR for years. We are so glad that Im able to share this experience with friends and family that dont have access to a VR headset. Kudos to the devs for crafting such a great experience and continuing to support it with exciting content.
Been playing on VR for years, we own all the courses and this way of playing isnt as good as VR but its solid! The pull back meter NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. It needs to be longer, the difference in power is very inconsistent. The difference is a micrometer in whether your coming up short or hitting it off the course sometimes. If this is fixed it would be 5-Stars NO PROBLEM.
This game is incredible. Im shocked its only $5. The App Store should be ashamed by how far buried this app is on their store. We had to scroll halfway down the games home page to Top Paid Games and then another 150 apps down before we saw this game. How many other incredible games are buried by the App Stores garbage curation algorithms.
Really enjoyed the Oculus version when we had it and was STOKED to see the mobile version when we got our new phone. Really clever and good theming as well as good feeling physics. WELL worth the 5 or 6 bucks.
This game is so good, we need more like this on iOS! Its the FULL game, just like the VR version, except with some features that make it nice to use on mobile. The fact that it can be played as a mobile game with swipe gestures or as a pseudo-VR game by actually swinging your phone like a putter is awesome. We also love that the multiplayer works with people on PC or Quest! Its a great way to play with friends who dont have a VR headset yet. Absolute gem and fantastic value.
Ive had more fun with our friends playing walkabout mini golf than probably any other game, and Ive been playing games since the nes. Highly recommend to anyone, and every dlc course is 10,000% worth it. Slapping dimpled balls off the wrong side of a hole and still having it ricochet into the cup is an amazing laugh out loud experience.

We play walkabout on a regular basis with our friends in VR. The only problem that we have is we paid for all of the courses and found most of the lost balls and putters. Id like to be able to use what Ive paid for already.
Playing by yourself its a great very game. Multiplayer? Its fantastic, especially because its a rare game where vr and mobile players can face off.
A favorite of ours on VR now Im able to play remotely with our Son anytime! Very well done on iOS! What a great game that is family friendly.
Ive been playing the VR version for quite some time, and its really nice to have the pocket edition now, because it feels just like Im playing the VR version! Minus getting used to not having the VR helmet on.
We love VR version, have bought and paid for every game that ever comes out and will continue to. Was part of the beta testing team for Walkabout Mini Golf pocket version. Would be a great show of faith. If the people that did the beta testing actually receive the game for free. Lets clarify, Ive already purchased a game and bought the newest ones, but we have not paid for any of the other ones that we have paid for in VR. Wink wink those would be great to have. Dont worry Ill never stop playing this game.
Walkabout mini golf is the best game Ive ever played in VR. And it doesnt disappoint on our phone either, you can even swing! We will buy anything these guys put out.

We love the VR version and we want to love the iOS version. Please allow us to turn off the swing to putt option. It is so incredibly frustrating whenever we just want to use the pole to putt method. Thanks.
Allow the possibility to turn off the gyroscope and, for the love of Steve Jobs, let us listen to background music/podcasts. Edit: a better experience on an ipad than a mini iphone.

Great game but virtually unplayable in many situations without the ability to control camera via the screen rather than gyro. PLEASE add this feature.
First off, we are a huge fan of the VR version of this game and have purchased almost every DLC for it over the years. We were excited to try the iOS version for those times when we want to relax and play some mini golf without moving around. The problem we have with this game is that it still makes us move around! Theres no option to disable the motion controlled camera movement, and it makes us feel kinda motion sick. We would like to see an option so that we can play the game without the motion controls, and look around with more standard iOS controls (pinch-zoom, two finger swipe to rotate camera, etc etc.) Until then Ill have to stick to the VR version.
We (adults) always have fun playing this with our kids. We also play it with family members that live far away. Its a great way to have fun and feel connected with family (that doesnt live near by).
We own this on Quest and have been playing weekly with our friends for a few years. We were a bit concerned with how it would translate to mobile but its SO good! The only thing we wish is our progress would carry over – mostly our balls and clubs but even then, its so fun.
Easily the best mini golf game on iOS. We do wish they offered an all in one IAP to unlock all the additional courses at a bit of a discount. Theres even an in game ad for the bundle but no way to get it on iOS.
We decided to download this app version to play with our family since we had a headache and didnt want to put the oculus on; so the game we played was between one app player and three oculus players. The gameplay and vertical mode with the slingshot was not bad, but because you cant fly around you get stuck standing alone without being able to see whats going on. It would be great if there was a picture-in-picture type thing where in the top corner of the screen it showed the current player who was putting, so you could see what was going on. Also you cant fly around on the app, therefore it would be really great if on your non-dominant hand side of the screen there was a joystick control so that you could maneuver a little more easily. Putting in the vertical mode was pretty easy with the slingshot, and maneuvering to get close to the ball wasnt too bad. However, the game did crash on us three or four times and kicked us all the way out of the app. We had to go back in and rejoin the match each time. Also, one of the players head and ball became invisible, all we could see was their hand and hear their voice, for a bit… Later on, they became completely invisible and we saw nothing of them or what they did. Furthermore, the oculus players said our voice was at a super low volume, and it sounded like we were muffled in the background and they could barely hear us. So, while we had a good time playing, there were many problems that need to be fixed in this app version in order to make this more of a staple way of playing instead of a one-off method for when you have reasons you cant play with the oculus headset. It has a lot of potential and we cant wait for the bugs to be worked out.
Please add an option to toggle off the moving of the phone to look around. Why cant we just swipe to move the camera/look around.
Still fun to play, but all the purchases we made on the Oculus are inaccessible.
