The team did a phenomenal making a digital adaptation that is accurate to the physical game while adding so much more playability to it as well! Job well done.
Ive only been playing this for a day but its a lot of fun and we have a feeling we will get our moneys worth many times over. The creators of this game obviously made it with a respect for the audience and a love for the game. We do get a little confused about which secrets they force you to play right away and which ones you can keep for later, but thats hardly a dealbreaker. If you are a fan of the board game, and willing to take the six minutes to learn this version, its kind of a no-brainer.

Our anger wants to give 1 star, but thats not fair. This OVERALL is a really well made game. The game itself is super fun and the expansion is worth the cost. However, playing async, we would say we have a major glitch 10% of games which completely ruins the game for us. The most common one is it will randomly end our turn when we still havent spent any movement, attack or income. Most commonly it happens after we undo a move Normally if you try to end your turn and you dont spend everything a pop up appears that says are you sure? But for some resson this glitch bypasses this bug. Id easily give this game 5 stars if it werent so glitchy. We otherwise would give it 5.

Their games are always so vibrant and engaging in well designed. From the music to the animations, you can tell they love what they do. This is an amazing adaptation of the Clank! Board game.
Checks just about all the boxes! Except no local LAN play. To us, thats a major miss and one star.
We purchased the game to play with our wife using family sharing which works great; however, if you purchase the expansion it will not work with the family sharing.
Great digital adaptation, but it lacks content. And now that Sunken Treasures has been released for $9, Im realizing that this is going to be an app that will require around $100 to purchase all available content once it is all released. (Not to mention the large amount of time it takes to each expansion release). The app isnt guaranteed to be around forever. If the content were half the price we could justify the investment, but Ill stick with the tabletop versions instead. We would love if content were released quarterly at minimum to keep users interested, including Legacy editions in the future, which would be a bigger task but so much more streamlined than the physical versions with all of the components and stickers. Not sure if even the Steam version will ever get there, but one can hope, and that its at a price that doesnt make us consider if its worth it.
Clank is our favorite board game and the devs have done a great job building in features to make it easy to see everything that is going on in such a small display. Excited to get the expansions added! Our only criticism is we would love to be able to invite friends to an async game even if they are offline. Hard to wrangle everyone to login to the app so we can invite them.
Greatest board game adaptation to a digital format bar none.

We love pass and play but we are bored of the same map. 4 stars for now until new map.
Love the game. Great implementation BUTthe text is microscopic on an iPhone 15 pro max. Can you add some accessibility options to increase font size please? As it is, its headache inducing to play.
Clank! Is one of our all-time favorite tabletop games, and the digital implementation is excellent except that the mobile experience in particular can be a bit tedious. If you exit the app to respond to texts or whatever, the server is often lost, forcing a restart, wherein you need to wait for it to load, then tell it no, you dont want a replay, etc. (How about dont make a replay the default, so we dont need to skip it every time?) And within the game, the animations look great, but its all just verrry slooow as you have to wait for every animation and AI players turn, even on the fast mode. Please, developer, let us enjoy this great game at more than a snails pace, and without needing to reconnect almost every time you leave the app.
Has some nice features, but everything is so cramped. This should be closer to $5 feels extremely overpriced as is. Animations are very cute, but we wish 'fast mode' was actually at all sped up. We think this app would benefit from looking into Monster Train and how they handle the UI. We're a huge fan of Clank! Catacombs in real life, for reference.
Clank is a great game, but it gets repetitive quickly. The Digital version tries to avoid that by offering Challenges and Heists. Unfortunately that progress isnt saved to the cloud, so you cant make progress on multiple devices. Cloud saves are a pretty basic feature these days. This is a big miss for a great game.
We want to like this game, but, we have played through a few times and see our clank on top as 0, and then when dragon attacks, it always attacks us and not the AI players. The AI players also seem to zoom around the board very quickly as well. We may not be an expert, but, having played similar games, something seems amiss.
Not sure how they have it programmed but the dragon is pretty much guaranteed to do damage every turn.
Very fun game translated well to digital. We love the challenges and solo play w AI. Cant wait for additional boards and rules from the expansions!!! Mummys tomb is our favorite.

Always loved the board game. The ease of play, ability to take back a move if you accidentally take a wrong action, dragon attack animation, and cute adventure pawn animations made this an instant win. Thank you.
This goes across the board with Direwolfs games but please PLEASE make better AI opponents. If you need to, hire somebody like Temple Gate Games (Dominion/RftG) to giter done. Their AI opponents are actually hard. Looking forward to seeing expansions.
Love the board game and this app does it justice. Multiplayer is unstable and Ive lost several games due to server issues. If you are playing async and get knocked out, it would be nice if you could just view the results without having to watch all the turns that were taken without you.
Really good deck building game. Well designed app that, for the most part, makes the game easy to play on an iPhone. The only issue we have is when you want to inspect a card. Depending on where the card is on screen it can be a real challenge as your finger placement will immediately cancel the inspection. Eventually Ill learn the cards by sight but for now it is annoying. Hopefully it can be fixed via an update. Otherwise the game really well made and a lot of fun. The challenges is a great addition.
Love the game! We hate that its so complicated to invite players into a private game. Please make it easier.
We like to play against AI, and tend to like mobile games that are quite fast. Many board games adapted for mobile have fast forward features that let you skip to your next turn, rather than sitting through animations of your opponents turns. This game does not, greatly harming how enjoyable it is. Devs: give us this option, please.
