We love getting a new event just for it to be to open scopes gambling chests over and over again dont mention you need the key first too that cost money so there is no point in opening the advanced mythic wheel/ultra wheel if you dont have this 30 dollar key dont forget this wheel has all the best toons we’ve loved this game for years but its just not cool to spend 200-dollars on a toon just for it to be basically useless within the month also why dont you include toons in the battle pass anymore we dont think its fun anymore to spend on this game but its not easy for free to play players to even compare to people that drop 1000s of dollars on this game we just want there to be a way to skip the grind with money but still have the option to get toons for free just takes a while we get it if you want to spend money to skip some of the steps to get a toon but just make is so you can if you really grind get stuff for free we love this game scopes but your really making it not fun hopefully you dont screw it up again like you did with s class the mythic.
So we are a long time player of the game it was a lot of fun and now Im ranked one of the highest on the game however we liked the way it use to be. It was a funnier game back then now its change so much and Id say for the worse in our opinion.
Just for people who want to waste hundreds of dollars. No way to have a fair competition.
We play this game back when it first came out and then on and off for years. We just tried to get back into it and Jesus Christ has it gotten so much worse. None of the new mechanics make much sense or work well with the base game. All these new mechanics are blatantly attempts to find new shameless ways of monetizing the app. The roadmap section is now an incomprehensible nightmare with events requiring 12 different types of items that do different things and are obtained in different very grindy ways. Other apps we play do similar events that require limited time items and such but the way it is handled here is so poorly explained you are constantly forgetting what items are for in your inventory. We remember how the game use to be where it was obvious they were still trying to get you to pay for things which was fine but now if you arent paying you literally arent playing. Its disgusting. As a life long Walking Dead Comic fan (since issue one) Im so upset that this brand has been handled in this way. Genuinely leaves a bad taste in our mouth now when thinking of The Walking Dead. Rip 2/10.
Keep getting kicked DURING the actual war. Trying to participate in events and constantly getting kicked. We give up on this game. Only works for those who pay to play.

Im level three and everytime we get to a certain spot our game wont us let go any further. Game just freezes?

For some reason, the game keeps freezing when you watch a video for the daily reward. It would give us our gold, but not our daily reward.
Theres a lot of art variation but most of it is pretty useless. Example. It would be great if previous versions of characters, their appearance, could be swapped over the higher levels. Say we have Atlanta Rick, we cant swap him with off duty Ricks art but we could use the days gone by Rick art style, character design, for either or, or the legendary rick style we think this is a very nice touch that adds more reason to collect and hold useless toons as the roster grows to higher and higher levels while utilizing the older art styles so they are not wasted.
We just started off the game and before we even got the second chapter we got four mythics! Now that isn’t a bad thing, in fact, we were pretty happy get a few even if it was scripted but after we got to the second chapter we wanted to switch out the mythics for the intro guys the tutorial showed us ( like Rick, Maggie, Garrett..) but this scaling made it so our characters and the helpers you get in the some levels werent even dealing a SLIVER of the enemies health! This was only the second chapter and walkers had HP close to 5000! Forcing us to use the mythics. Its not a horrible thing but like what the heck? Why make us upgrade and prestige Rick and open weapon crates just no even be able to use him and the weapons? You may as well get rid of anything that doesnt give you mythic survivors because if youre bot doing over 1000 damage you lost the battle.
The last few times we try to download this dang game it glitches out on the tutorial it wont let us get any further from pressing the character.
We love the game and everything on itself its an absolute masterpiece and Im such a huge fan of The Walking Dead. The only thing we have to say is the PVP is set to where you always face someone whos always stronger than you no matter how low you try to look to match your level and the tokens they take from when you lose that fight. It gets very frustrating when your one kill away from winning and then some how they take out your whole team and bring back theirs in one go. We love the characters and seeing their different abilities especially in use on the battlefield but you have no fighting chance when your trying to build up your PVP reputation. Please fix it we dont like PVP but when you have missions where your trying to get really good rewards but you cant because the PVP is set for an automatic loss it makes you not want to play that part of the game. Again please fix this other than that we love the game and great job highly recommend other than PVP..
When we first got a phone we had already played this game for years. We love the idea that even after the walking dead is over you still have other apps like this carrying the story. Some notes recently/ we found a strange bug in which the scalding triggers all the enemies in the beginning to become op. Because of the free handouts it made it so. We have these amazing characters that cant kill Woodburys zombies. Please fix.
We have been playing the game for almost 2 years now and we really enjoy this game but we dont exactly like how the events are say right now the Easter one all your enemies are defense and healer characters and way to of a high level we know the rewards are REALLY GOOD though but still like we said we’ve been playing this game for 2 years and we cant even chip some of their health out to please change event difficulty all Im asking thank you.
Take off conquest the game is so bad with it we want to play the campaign and continue on with the story but conquest having no way to disable it is preventing us from playing the campaign.

Scopely (app creator) only cares about money. If you dont pay, you dont stand a chance in this game. Thats why so many people are leaving it. Dont waste your time.
Played this for a couple years, quit, came back and still the same result. We’ve collected and upgraded as much we can and our top characters still wont be able to beat ANY other teams especially people. No matter what mode. 2 years gameplay and youd expect great things. Wrong. Dont play this game and waste your time. Try Epic Seven or Genshin if you want good quality gameplay and sense of fulfillment. They will at least give you a fair chance w/o money involved.

We used to play this game and we redownload it to play again but it keeps on crashing.
Switched regions to an account we used in 2016 and it crashes before the game loads, wouldnt like to lose years of progress but it seems like thats the case. (after disconnecting Game Center and reinstalling a few times we cant even load the game without it crashing, bummer)
We enjoyed this game a lot when we were younger, so naturally after getting a new phone we downloaded it again and started playing. Its been a few years so we were very excited. We had a few surprises, one theres a bunch of new modes that have seemed to give myself more to do and theyre for the most part pretty fun, two characters are now completely different, and three we were unable to get our old account back. It was liked to our Facebook but when we liked it back up nothing changed, very disappointing because of spending hundreds of hours and dollars into this game before hand, but with the new way the characters are we think its easier to progress than its ever been which is both good and bad, good because it wasnt as difficult as we thought getting a at least one or two good characters on our team, but bad because it feels as if all that time and money that went into fully maxing out a five star now means nothing.
Man what a waste and we even tried to be that guy and buy a couple things but they make it to where you cant finish certain events unless you were to spend 100 dollars or more.. Very misleading and somehow youre always that one character short of maxing out your player. Always. So convenient isnt it? Unless you wanna spend a ton to advance themdamn.. We’ve been playing since it came out and now pretty tired of it all really. Its gotten so bad. WowAnd they dont even update or take player surveys anymore because they dont careThey made their coin we guess.
Hello!! Sorry to bother but lately in the newer parts of the story campaign we have seen less cutscenes, and it feels like the story is just empty. The reason why we found this game so special was because of these cutscenes :( Tho everything else in the game is amazing :) The only issue is lack of cutscenes. The in-game support was updated months ago. Now we usually cant even complete a request because a bot closes the conversation over and over! Not cool!!! For the past few months Scopely servers have not been able to support game play. Everyone is getting constant Network Errors!!! Its definitely a game system problem. We dont have Network Errors on any other app or website. Please update your servers to be able to handle all of the new updates because its getting to the point after playing since 2015, Im almost ready to delete app and game we love except for these continued glitches. We want game support back from your bots!!! We need assistance and help not a bit closing requests every single time!!!
This game is too far gone for new players to even have a hope of success. Its closer to pulling the plug than anything.
Let us preface by saying we’ve never spent a dime on this game so this is a fair review. We played for a few days back when the game first released but not longer bc of having a bad phone then. We recently came back like 2 months ago and can say it really isnt that bad. Is the energy system crappy? Yeah and some activities take way too much, is the store too expensive? Yes but none of it is necessary nor is it even enticing enough to buy. The building timers for buildings (no its not one of those castle builders like game of war dont worry) gets long but they really dont impact gameplay youll be perfectly fine on wood or food (used to upgrade the buildings and characters) at all times. Now if youre a long term player you got burned with the intro of new rarities that your current characters cant get to you have to earn the new ones, which isnt really fun but we do enjoy collecting the older characters we have and theyre also useful in the museum to get even better characters so they still have some use. All in all it has lots of events to gain free things, easy to do dailies that gives new characters and such and you can still get a 2-3 hours of gameplay daily even with an energy system. It really is NOT that bad.
This is a good game for passing time and we love the satisfaction of leveling up and ascending our characters. Our only criticism of this game is that this game is always putting offers in your face wanting you to spend money. Its annoying how often a new character or event makes you want to spend money on the game.
This game has a lot of potential. The game is ran by a bunch of lazy developers. Its a ton of fun but needs updated badly. Nothing really going on in the game and it seems like its dying. Would highly suggest another game and we wouldnt recommend this game to anyone.

We love this game its fun action packed gots a lot of things in game to do we just wish they added a limited edition & limited time Daryl where the shows ending and hes still standing since season 1 even if there following more of the comic storyline we just think it would hella sick.
Game keeps crashing after we unlock Maggie hilltop and takes us back to before we ascended. The game wont let us do anything else. We open it up and it forces us to ascend Ezekiel, then as soon as we unlock Maggie, the game crashes and starts us back to where we were before we acnsese Ezekiel. Like the game just wish this gets fixed so we can play.
We had to switch our phone one day and we had to start over a long progression of work in this game and we couldnt get back into our account with the correct passwords dont waste your time.
The game its pretty good we were playing and enjoying when we came to the new level and the game let us know we’ve unlock a new building ASCENDANCE after all the explanation and everything the game reset and starts doing the same .. Letting us know the new building bla bla bla its a big loop the customer service its horrible we trying to contact them but we cant find the correct email.
Also – please don’t pause our music when we open the game.
Warning, this is not a micro transaction game, it is macro. Be prepared to drop $10k – $15k to be competitive. Odds of pulling the premier toon is less than 1% and will cost you at least $500. Customer service is awful. They make mistakes and sweep them under the rug. They do not care for their users. Great game but Scopely ruins it with greed and HORRIBLE customer service.
Great people, great game! Super addictive and a awesome way to meet new people from all walks of life. We’ve made great friends that we’ve played with for many years. Its our stress reliever and Scopley has been responsive to our request and feedback.
Its an amazing game, and honesty we enjoy it very much, we had a past account and It took us out of that account and put us into an edgy acc with the name we HAVE NO SOUL anyways it might be smart to add a log out of account button because honestly we’ve tried to get out of it and we honestly dont know what to do.
So we love games where you can make choices and it affects the story and this mobile game has everything. Character unlocks, Choices and level up.
1- Es cierto que es Muy p2w. 2- te dan 1M de cada recuso eso es bueno pero de que sirven sino los puedes usar a la hora de subir personajes porque necesitas otro recurso para subir a los personajes aparte de la comida, y la capacidad Max de obtencin de recursos queda llena y no puedes ni gastarlo ni obtener lo de la historia porque no tienes subido los almacenes al inicio. 3- si hay personas de 3-6* para que mrda meter personajes especiales.? Ya los de 3-6* son pura basura comprado con los Especiales. 4- Es un juego muy auto, no disfrutas a penas del juego, sea los personajes no tienen varias habilidades y usarlas cuando es conveniente sino solo es puro automtico y puro grindeo.
We remember playing this game and looking forward to hopping on to play everyday we played for 6 years and led 3 factions in that time and was a co in another, the war event used to be fantastic it was very neutral, now we feel like we were playing this game to just lose, we remember when hard work paid off and mattered now a veteran player of 6 years can easily get beat by someone just starting out because they spend, and auto play needs to go, when we wasnt losing constantly to players we were auto winning almost every level, we like feeling like Im playing a fair game that we can think on, not a game that caters to only spenders and plays itself, this was our favorite mobile game for years because we love the walking dead, but will no longer be playing with what its become, and the current community ruins all the fun this game used to be.

This is the only game we’ve ever reviewed. We played fairly heavily but less than many, on and off over the years. Got to know many players. The top performers, the winners, we dont know how much they spend. But the people near the top, we’ve heard a handful say they spent close to $5k. On multiple occasions. This game is really good at the stick and carrot bit. And it seems super satisfying to play if you have money. Just take it for what it is. Its fun for all, but youll never get to the top. Get out while you can.
What happens when you mix great gameplay with monetization? You get a game that falls short of being something special. This stings when you realize that the very thing that is holding the game back is the one system that they can never get rid of. If the money the game generated went back into improving the stale aspects of the game this review would be different. The only thing thats continuously improved upon is the rate at which promos come out that break the games in various ways.
Developers are money hungry an out of touch with the player base. They dont listen to the player base an in multiple aspects of the game that are outdated they have failed to update time an time again. Instead choosing to update parts of the game that dont need to be updated just to fill their pockets. The game costs way to much money to be competitive and takes way to much time.
