An aesthetic and serene game that encourages exploring. Theres a lot of customization options as well. However, its laggy both on our iPhone and iPad. Perhaps itll be better if we adjust the settings, but we selected the recommended quality for both.

We do love the game but it keeps shutting off on us. It is a beautiful world and we love being able to summon animals whenever we want and exploring the underground tunnels. We have never been able to complete the challenges because whenever we have the time the game keeps shutting off.

Checking out all the new stuff and wow, wow, wow! So much stuff has been added. This may just be the absolute best pay once to play open world game on the App Store. So much life in this world, its honestly really impressive. Great job Dev.

We found this game by chance; someone had posted a video of the gameplay and we were like oh, that seems interesting- and it is. Absolutely! Things it is: Beautiful. Calming. Charming. Cute. A good way to relax and just explore. Customizable. Did we mention beautiful? Things it isnt: a combat game, a quest game. A game with ads. If you got this far- buy it. Youll enjoy the heck out of it. As a note to parents: this is a game that you can hand your kids and not worry for a moment about content or ads or who they are playing with. We have a 10 year old boy who gets completely into game.

Ive had this game for a few years now. Its just beautiful. It runs well and we love it. We do wonder if theres any way to play this on PC or anything but even just on the phone its just one of the most wondrous games Ive ever played.

This is absolutely exquisite! The artwork is lovely, the music is soothing, the choices seem endless. Its a real pleasure and treasure.

Im doing so this can be seen every time we go into a world we get kicked out to our home screen we have been trying to get into the game for a month.

This has been our favorite iPad sim/non-game since its inception. In a beautiful open-world setting (based on a northern landscape), tread trails as a customizable avatar or wildlife. There is something for everyone here: dragons, dungeons, pirate ships, etc.; OR flowers, meadows, rowboats, and serenity. Ive been following the development of this app; the developer Rob puts his heart into it. Wilderless also is available on Steam and Android. We believe he has more plans in the future for it, as well. At the low price? Get it, you will not be disappointed.

This game is so so so awesome!! We love it but the only thing is it IS a bit glitchy. We were transported accidentally to an infinite ocean with a pirate ship in the middle at one point with no way to get back- we ended up restarting! Also we wondered- is the terrain supposed to change all the time? Because we set up a campsite in a recognizable area next to a dungeon with a giant sculpture of a hawk (how we remembered it) and when we got back from a long trip across the world the whole place was different! We actually have taken pictures of the scene one day then come back the next and take another, then compare both photos. Just to make sure Im not crazy! But after all its a great game and its so impressive that you made this with so much great detail! Its taken up so much of our time and is so relaxing. Thank you!! Update: No more glitches after that one, except for the occasional hollow hill! (When you can see underground for no explicable reason) also after about 3 months of playing we finally discovered you can do more with your magic than plant trees we inspected our inventory and discovered this to our surprise! Also Ive been using settings to make each new world unique which is so interesting, Ive named several worlds from 1 to 5 Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon. All of them are a bit different! Ive always been made fun of for breaking video games as we usually dont stick to the story and instead try to swim around in the river, or build a stairway to heaven, or whatever. Im more a role player as far as interacting with object and the world. Which is why we love this game!! We can be as crazy as we want and the only thing we wish was different was if we could build a permanent structure. If we could, it would be literally amazing. Not that it isnt, cause it is. Thank you developer!!! Great work! Please make more games.

Ok. The game is beautiful. The morphs are awesome. But one thing, NO PLAYABLE SHEEP!?!? Once you spawn sheep you think: wow soo cute ! Wonder if we can morph – but no sheep morph :( im sorry if ur working on this but if your not, we recommend you add this.

Wilderless is what we hoped so many other open world games might be thankfully without the repetitive quests, weapons, and battles. Wandering through beautiful dynamic landscapes and listening to the music is so satisfying. Wilderless is wander-full! Thank you Robert and keep up the good work.

Its a good game, delivers on all the points advertised, we sorted out the crashing issue in a sort of way. Only issue we have is that the weapons and spells are just for show. They look cool but don't serve any purpose. Id love if there was something to shoot at.

We love this game we just wish there was more customization options for one with the character. Yes you are able to change the color of your hair but what about those specific styles but also with the houses and all that we think it would be really cool to be able to build your own type of thing, another thing that would be cool is adding a civilization that would randomly come up kind of similar to how Minecraft either way, this game is really cool.

Great game but keeps crashing after every 25 mins also theres open gaps on the ground near the dungeon where youll fall till youre frozen under the map everything else is great.

Several issues with this app, it will close down often. Most of the time we can only play for 5/10 minutes before it closes. Secondly, when placing a shelter and save the game, the shelter is gone.

First of all, we like this game very much. It has been updated from a single game to a rich gameplay now. But our mobile phone can't hold on, and it's easy to flash back. We hope the official can see our comment and try to optimize the fluency of the game.

We use an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it gets really hot in seconds please optimize a little And also we dont know how to get on those creatures we keep seeing fish on their heads dont no what to do itll be nice if theres a manual on how to get on them or how to find fish.

We want to report a crashing problem on higher quality settings. We run a Iphone 12 mini and we are not sure if that is the problem. That being said everything else works fine.

We were going to give it more stars because we love the stunning graphics BUT every time we try to play it crashes. It crashes when we try to customize our characters clothes. Ive got a lot of space on our phone. So we dont know why our phone keeps crashing. We wont uninstall it but we hope you, the developer resolves this issue.

We actually had this game downloaded before and Ill give it to the creator that this is indeed a very fun adventurous game. However, we upgraded our phone and downloaded the game again . But it crashes everytime before we can even load into the world. Im using a iPhone 14 pro and we hope we can play again. We hope the creator fixes this issue.

We cant imagine how difficult it must be to create an entire video game by yourself. We can see how much love and energy youve put into this project. Youve done an excellent job as always! We cant wait for the dragons in the next update.

You had our money as soon as we saw we could play as animals. Humble request, please add more birds, like a raven and owl.

This is a very beautiful, open-world game that is fun to explore! A lot of attention to detail has been taken to build this world. Thank you.

Version 1.7 iPad mini 5. This is the third one. Loved Vandgels best. We love to explore and Roberts games let us do that. Love the house. Love the boat. Love to plant trees. Pick flowers. Live mushrooms! Are you kidding us?! Got lost in dungeons with so many different rooms. And they are all over the place. Got stuck in swim mode and keep swimming on the ground. No big deal for us. Restart and keep exploring. $3 is cheap for all that is in these games. Thanks Robert.

Im enjoying it Im just asking for a favor if you can add more animals that fly,run, and animals that swim and add npcs that would be amazing. We LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH we SPEND HOURS ON IT.

We have an iPhone 14 pro which is supposedly supported, however the game is incredibly glitchy, and crashes after a few minutes of play every time we try to play it. The music also does not work. We wish you could forage more than just flowers and if there was a crafting element to the game it would be amazing. We love the premise of the game which is why we gave it three stars, we just wish we could actually play it. We wish we could get our money back.

Sorry, graphics look wonderful but no info on how to move. We have an ipad. We try to touch where we want him to go and he just orients that way. We try to drag the character and it doesnt work. The suddenly he follows the finder. The problem is that our finger blocks the scenery so we cant see directly ahead. We stop touching the ipad and try again. Now we jus look and don't move. Two fingers does nothing. What do we do if were not using a joystick. What special icon makes us just move? Frustrating. Needs SOME instruction somewhere on what to touch and how.

This game will crash, a lot. Change a graphics setting, fast travel, open a world, exist the game will crash. Sometimes opening a world that worked just fine before will suddenly not work anymore for literally no reason. We are running the game on an iPhone 14 Pro Max, so we dont think that the phone is the issue. The game is just horribly buggy. If the dev could make it not crash every 25 seconds that would be great.

In our half, we must say a trashy game, we expected calm and simple controls, no weapons and just nature and animals around we were surely mistaken we ask you all to NOT spend 2.99 on it this should be free its so bad.

Update November 2022: This open-world sim for iPad is our favorite! The newly-added paths and roads feature lends to it a sense of exciting adventure, to see what beauty awaits ahead around the bend/over the hill. The developer has really put his heart into this one and is open to comments and suggestions. For those into aesthetics (us), the colors of the landscapes here are breathtaking! Wilderless is a place to go to relax and unwind and leave your worldly cares behind. If you are into dungeons and that sort of thing, its all herearmor, relics, etc. There is something for everyone in Wilderless and that adds to its appeal for all ages. Human avatars are customizable; or you can fly as a bird or wander around as a horse, deer, or many other creatures. Sound effects? Sure! Butterflies, bugs, fireflies, lanterns to light, flowers to pick. Build a home or meditate. Its all here in Wilderless. Plus, its getting better all the time! We highly recommend this one-of-a-kind open-world artistic sim.

We love the game, we love the animals, we love the nature and the customization. But we'd suggest adding more face customization. We're thinking we should be able to change eye shape, eye color, head shape, and other things on the head separately. We'd also want more colors for outfits, since the 4 presets don't seem to fill our adventurous mind. Also, it'd be nice if the animals could jump and the bird could land/walk. Please consider!~.

Love this game a lot but it should have like some vehicles maybe a cart or better still a bicycle to move around and have much fun Common please update this game every time we try to edit our character it just black out and send us to our main screen.

Love it, the customization the devs gives u in terms of graphics is amazing! We can go for a lo fi ps1 type look or crank the graphics up with an incredible variety of options to fine tune the world to our liking, and then we could go and explore said world! We cant express enough how awesome this app is, thank you protopop! A map maker would be rly neat :).

This game takes our breath away. The customization is cool, and the exploration is fun. However, there are just a few things we have an issue with. One, sometimes when we teleport, we end up under the world. Two, it seems weird that the shrooms consider ice more water and just phase through it. Another thing we wish could be changed is the fact you can't change your eye color. Other than those, it's the perfect stress killer, it doesn't drain our battery, and it's full of magic.

We finally found the perfect game Ive been looking for!!! Im so in love with your game and it helps us release stress pretty much!!! We think it would be fun if we can be able to do more things in the house such as lying on the bed, sitting on the eating table, or lying on the couch. :) How about lying on the grass, hunting, cooking, and eating? Run around, have a nice time, take your own fireworks cruise. This scratches the same itch Breath of the Wild does, where you have no idea what youre doing and why, but its fun just to be present and explore. Whats over the next hill (or mountain)? Who knows! Thats the point.

Could you please remodel the wolf and give it emotes? We love wolves very much and this game would be amazing with a better wolf model.

When we first downloaded this game, our impression of it was amazing. Smooth and very diverse graphics, lots of open space and some neat customization. We wish there was a little more to do however, because it would make us a little more invested in the game. Please keep developing this game further because it will definitely attract more players over time.

We cant believe we spent money on this. The game wont even load. Immediately it starts, it lags and exits out of the app. Just horrible.

Im not a gamer but we watched a video review and this game seemed fantastic. We downloaded, the controls were intuitive but the quality settings were not. We played for a half hour and loved it. We stopped, sent a few texts, reopened app, and it appeared to restart and re create world. We were sad the world we were exploring seemed to have been lost, but it doesnt matter because every time we open the app (on our year old iPhone) it crashes during creating world. Three dollars in very reasonable, but we had a feeling Id regret it. We do.

We came to know your beautiful works through performance benchmarks of mobile devices via Bright Ridge. Paid $3 for Wilderness and its worth the money. A slight issue Ive had is the raining situation when the character is under water. Raining outside seems to have stopped once the character is fully under water and only starts once again once the character pops up. A bit inconsistent there. Maybe a its processing power thing? Oh, and, it can be really great if you enable Apple Silicon Mac support and add high refresh rate support for your games. Can be a great time killer from work and one can finally crank all the settings up to enjoy your beautiful work on news Macs with more GPU cores, say, an M1 Max MBP with that beautiful 120Hz panel. Nevertheless, great job Robert for a solo work.

Ive only played this game for a few minutes but Im already amazed and delighted by it! Its very zen and fills you with a sense of wonder and joy as you explore. We hope the developer adds some npcs to interact with and some kind of story, but even as it is now its a great refreshing break from the hack and slash games. And keep all the worlds.

We have not yet explored all the possible worlds. Just exploring was quieting and interesting. Now, with ruins and dungeons and strange little mushrooms, the pleasure of exploration has increased ten-fold. The dungeon puzzles are difficult, and some are tricky. This will keep us going until the empire comes. Thank you.

A year ago we gave Wilderless 3/5 stars, however now its a solid 5/5. The developer has obviously put a lot of hard work into the game. Its very visually stunning, relaxing music and gameplay. Lots of customization options and a fun world to explore. We cant wait to see what future updates bring. Thank you for updating the game and fixing many of the past issues.

But it seriously needs controller support. Please add it and we will upgrade this to a 5 star.
