Had great fun playing this game. Chock full of different things to do, puzzles, HOS, etc. Just finished the game. Saving the bonus chapter for tomorrow.
We like the witches legacy games, except for the increasingly long scene load times. By the bonus chapter its about 5 seconds! Good game, nice story. Hos are mainly list or silhouette, with interactive parts. Mini games range from easy to medium, and some are quite creative. Good length. Took off a star for load times, and half a star for less than average graphics. Real rating of 3.5 rounded up to 4 for creative mini games.
This is more like it! Witches legacy is one of our favorite series, but the last couple releases just werent up to the same level as the previous games. Im so happy that, once again, youre reminding us why we love this series! We love the continuing story line of Jack & Annabel….and now theyre engaged! Im really looking forward to many more games with the 2 of them. We cant wait to see how theyre going to raise their children – or if their children will be witches or not. Id also like to see Annabels aunt a bit more often. (we cant remember her name at the moment, but we liked her in previous games.) The only reason our review isnt 5 is b/c the game hangs a little bit between scenes. Especially in the Bonus chapter. Anyway, another good game in this series – keep it up! Just a note to the first reviewer: This game, this whole series, is called Witches Legacy. If youre sick of not seeing/having normal people in games, we would think you wouldnt get a game about witches. That said – we dont think its fair of you to give it 1 just because you, personally, are sick of the fantasy genre.
We agree with the other reviewers who complained of increasing lag time between scenes. It made the game almost unplayable near the end. That being said, the graphics were eye-candy, and the storyline interesting, music very sophisticated. With the exception of growing lag and brevity, the game was challenging enough and engrossing. We are always pleased with such powerful music and great scenes. Thank you–but what happened to make the lag time grow and grow? True rating 3.5.

We found this game to be some what confusing at times, no clear directions.
We really enjoyed this game as this is one of our favorite series. However, we were very irritated that we were unable to collect two of the morphing objects because they were covered by permanent parts of the game, one by the back button and one by the magnifying button in the upper right corner on our iPad. We try very hard to collect everything in the game and it was a waste of our time.
We are not detailing the basic features provided by this developer; they are the same as always. Once again, Elefun sucked us in with an almost bearable lag time of approximately 3 seconds, and as the game progressed so did the lag time to between 8 and 10 seconds! The gameplay mechanics were very dated and also there were touch screen sensitivity issues. We had trouble using Bertha, the ferret helper. It was also problematic to combine objects during the HO scenes and sometimes it was difficult to apply inventory. It was a relief that there was an alternate matching puzzle because we dont know if we could have completed certain HO scenes. One of the reasons we found the game dated was because these scenes were revisited, and Elefun doesnt give us too much variation in the HO scenes. Its unfortunate because there were also elements of the game which were quite enjoyable. The graphics were gorgeous, quirky and magical. The objectives were entertaining to accomplish, and there was a decent variety of puzzles and games. Some were rotational, others tested your skill/dexterity, others were codes but there was definitely something to suit every gamer. This game was merely average, and we have no desire to replay it. We deducted stars for length (it was a very short game inclusive of the bonus adventure), for technical issues, and for the significant lag time loading between locations. We wouldnt have even bought the game but we were bored! We think our review was quite generous, but we did like the basic gameplay and fantasy is our favorite genre. Hopefully we get something decent on Monday. Happy gaming to all.
Set the time but nothing happens. Cannot proceed from here without the wing. Deleted the app and started over. Nothing changed. We paid for this game. We would like a refund. Thanks, Judi.
We are enjoying this game but found some of the puzzles take too much time to solve. We have 1tqtt Fgaaaa Aato keep repeating the same steps over and over. And nothing Is more maddening then when you have to put the white candle in the tree and the white candle won't budgeI have tried turned off the game then turned off the iPad. Waited a few mins sand turned them both on and guess what we still cant move the candle from our status to the tree. Now we cant finish the whole can.!! We are very frustrated. Does anyone know what to do. We spend so much Money on these Big Fish Game they could at least make work. This is the second game in two weeks that we have been able to finish due to glitch in the program. Please tell us what todo or update …. Please or give an update of t Ere.
Need more and clearer instructions.
Difficult to follow plot (the means, not the end). Not linear. Ultimately boring. We only purchased this game, because we were bored. Progressively slow transition time between scenes and selecting objects (10 seconds). The good: Beautiful, bold graphics. Interactive map illustrating objects to find. Interesting HOPs and puzzles. Collectible jigsaw pieces and morphing objects to locate. If you like fantasy games, then you will probably like this game.
When will EleFun Games update their format for games? This installment was lackluster but did have some unique HOS's. L was not impressed with the plot or the game overall.
This game makes no sense. Thankfully we did not buy the full version.
Sound wont turn off. We HATE that! We just closed it and left. Fix it, please. Then, we can try your game. For us the sing of a poor game is a problem that you hit right away. The developer didnt even care enough to check it out before publishing. Boooooooo.
Witches, demons, warlocks, sorcerers…all the evil occult stuff being pushed on us from every angle. It's bad enough that it's infiltrated music movies and TV…game developers can't think outside the social enculturation box? BF games have only TWO basic themes: 1) EVIL occult being the innocent or heroes and/or 2) ROYALTY being the innocent or heroes Or are these developers just doing their part to keep the peasants (us) in line.
So sick of these games with fairies, wizards, magic potions, dragons, etc. Why can't Big Fish give us some spooky, adventure, crime type games that feature REAL PEOPLE?! We're only buying this game because we are desperate for a game to play! The one offered on Monday was crap! We didn't even bother to play the demo.
