What Makes Word Shaker Stand Out
This is the classic version of Word Shaker, a word searching game with a twist: words don't have to be in a straight line. Your goal is to earn the most points by finding words in a grid. Each letter has a particular point value, and you earn bonuses by forming longer words.

LOVE this game! Ive been playing it for 3+ years. However, why are certain words omitted? Example: America isnt on the list, but Japan and Peru are? And please add mastodon.
This game is sooo fun! We love that you can choose how long you wish to play. The letters are in an easy-to-read format and the game is "addictive"–in a good way…love it.
It's the one game that we never get bored with!!! We play it every night once the kids are finally asleep. Thank you for updating it.
This is the best version as you can change the length of the minimal letters in a word. However, it would be useful to be able to continue a game past the time limit, just to see the possibilities. Also, it would be helpful to be able to shuffle when it is inconvenient to shake,such as with an iPad we play against our self so we don't care about competition. We want the game to add to our vocabulary and not just be a addictive way to spend time. This version does not appear to be in the AppStore, which is sad as the others won't let you eliminate the boring 3 letter words.
We enjoy this game and it would be 5 stars except for some annoying things. First, the sound keeps disappearing at random times. The only solution we can find is to delete app from phone, then download from cloud again. Then the sound returns. But then goes away again in another day or two. Second, the swiping of letters can sometimes be VERY annoying as they don't respond properly or quickly. Slows you down as you're playing. Third, their dictionary of words is highly suspect. Some real words are not there at all. But the game recognizes other words that definitely are not words at all. Especially some that are all consonants. It seems to sometimes use proper names, abbreviations, and odd slang expressions, etc. For example, how can things like "cgb" or "trw" or "xtc" or "nps" be words? We've seen dozens of so-called words like this in this game. The game is still fun and challenging overall, but these 3 issues really hurt its rating.
Overall, this iteration of Word Shaker is pretty good. The only problem is that selecting letters sometimes is glitchy. Even though you trace a clear path across the correct letters, for some reason, very frequently this app doesn't properly recognize the letters. The user interface feels really dated as well. We wish we would have purchased the newer version of this app (by the same developer), but with a blue and yellow icon and interface. The newer version does not seem to have any of the issues with letter tracing.
We are addicted to this game, we get stressed we go play a five min game to think of something else and this works great all the different sizes of board and timings are exactly what we need.
So ADDICTIVE ! Challenging and fast paced! A Definite vocabulary builder! Super Fun.
We've been playing this game for several years and it only gets better. There are enough levels to keep one's interest, and we love that we can peruse the list of words we missed – great way to expand vocabulary.

We've been looking for a replacement for Boggle for over a year (Boggle no longer available in app store). Tried and purchased more than a few. This one is ok if you don't mind banners running along the bottom touring the latest online winner of something of other. We just want a relaxing game to play on our own; competition with others is NOT relaxing, nor are the color choices for the screens. Not awful; just not Boggle.
Really enjoy this one. Expands our vocabulary usefully or uselessly every game we play.

The options this game are the best! We deleted the other word game we had that wouldn't let us mute sound. We love that we can change the time options depending on our mood. This is one the best apps we've ever bought.

We became instantly addicted to this game the first time we played it!!! We have been playing it constantly. It is more than worth the price. It recognizes all valid words also, something that is not the case with some word games. We can literally play this for hours without getting tired of it. Really really wonderful word game( we have deleted many others). We love word games and download and try many many of them. We have only a handful we have kept. This is one of them.

We love word games and this one is definitely our favorite. We love that we can play it one handed since we mostly play it when rocking/nursing our son to sleep. We love all of the different options available for game time length, minimum word length, etc. Also love that it loads quickly and it's the only app that has never crashed on us in the 6+ months we've been playing it. A++++++ game.
We believe that this game is truly challenging and just plain fun. We do not really believe the amount of points various players appear to amass.
