Great game, its a good port of open warfare.
It is great but the weird thing is that while we can create our teams we cant create our own style like worms 2 for iOS overall great.
Awesome we love all of ur games the escapist and works there all great keep going.
Challenge # 45 about 4 turns into the match the app will crash every time. Needs to have the Simpsons voice package like the computer on a side note.

Love time fan of the worms games since the beginning. Great game for this platform, however, we reached challenge 41 and half way through theres a glitch that shuts the game down every time, which is frustrating as Id love to keep playing. If it werent for this itd be 5 stars.
When loading the beginning page it always says they can't authenticate the game…The game is a paid game it should be either updated and fixed or free…. However we're a big fan of the worms our it's one of our favorite game.
We loved the PC game, and this version is fairly true to it except… The UI is fairly terrible. We cant count how many times Ive lost a match because a worm decided to jump while we were trying zoom or pan the map. Its particularly fussy if your worm is near the edge of the map. Ive also had worms get stuck on graphics a number of times. Its a shame, because this used to be such a fun game. Maybe if they allowed you to use a (Bluetooth) keyboard to move, pan, and zoom (as in the pc versions) it would be a better experience.
Game is fun and all but the app will stop working and quit on its own randomly during challenge mode some times, but does it without exception on 41 and we cant get passed it. Theres also issues where it thinks Im telling the worms to jump when Im either trying to move left or right or zoom in or out. Causes them to jump off cliffs from time to time.
We loved the original computer game! This, however, does not live up to the expectations. The controls are a little trickier (sometimes zoom commands are misinterpreted as jumps) and Bluetooth matches don't connect. Room for improvement.
Overall it's pretty enjoyable. The only complaint we really have is how the worms are moved. Too many times we've tried to zoom in or out on the screen, and the game misinterprets that as us trying to make the worm jump. This has cost us several victories, which in itself is pretty pathetic, but not as pathetic as taking the time to complain about it on a perfectly good Saturday morning instead of going outside or reading a book.
Loved original on PC, but keeps freezing on iPad. NEEDs update.
Did you mean to aim instead of jumping in the water? No? Too bad. Also, sound would be cool too.
Cant tell you how many times the app just shuts off while we are doing challenges. Then we are forced to start over. We want our 1.99 back or whatever this cost us.
You would think by looking at the previews that the game would be fun and enjoyable. Its the exact opposite. What makes this game so horrible you ask? Its the controls and lack of consistency in using the controls they have given to us. Dont believe us? Go ahead and pay money to download the game and 2 games in youll quit and delete the game. Wont be paying money to this franchise again.
Keep trying to jump backwards and it jumps forwards or does nothing at all and vice versa.
We guess we should have checked to see this app hadn't been updated in three years, Bluetooth multiplayer doesn't work anymore, let alone the garbage UI.
This game initially behaves like the original PC from the 90s. But somehow the controls are less controllable, less accurate, and more prone to do something other than what youve intended than the original. And if you attempt a multiplayer combat, expect EVERY computer player to be targeting you exclusively. This game was fun on PC. On this, its not even worth the $2.
Constantly crashes. All progress lost.
Ive lost so many games due to faulty controls. You CONSTANTLY accidentally make moves that compromise your turn. This is a direct copy from the pc version. Does not work in iPhone. Dont waste your money.
This app crashes each time we try and play against another user. We have switched phones and still has problems.
More often than we expected, the game places its worms in more favorable positions than your worms. We notice that it spreads its own worms out one clustering your worms. This is a turn based game. We also notice that in more than 50% of the time it gets the first shot giving itself the advantage.
Looks like the original computer game, which was one of the greatest! But the controls on the phone are totally screwed! This leaves the game basically unplayable. If they would just fix this issue it could be amazing again.

Team17 never disappoints, but we're afraid this app is currently broken on the iPhone 6. The hit boxes are off for everything, such as trying to select or fire a weapon, to trying to move. And when facing the left one can only perform a backflip, and can't jump. Please fix! Thanks.

Terrible controls and very confusing layout. Waste of money.
It's a fun game but the calibration is off for the iPhone 6. Now we were stuck reading reviews as to why the game wasn't working. People have been waiting for an update for 2 years…. Kinda mad we spent money on a game that doesn't work.
We loved this game growing up and we were excited at the idea of playing it again. Unfortunately we were very disappointed once we opened the app and realized none of the controls seem to run properly. Our soldiers are consistently jumping of the map and onto mines. It seems like the touch points are off by a bit and makes nearly impossible to play. We recommend not getting this app if you have an iPhone 6 until they come out with some major bug fixes. We gave them a 2 star in hopes they will make the changes soon, which will make this our favorite game on our phone.

Like others, it's nearly unplayable on iPhone 6. We suspect it's just a minor update needed using one of Apple's scaling API functions, but we suspect the developers are done. Too bad. We'll try to remember it how it used to be in the 90's.
Great and fun to play but needs to be updating, due to issues when playing.
We held out for SO long getting this game (and the sequels). Once we finally got a larger screen (iPhone 6), we couldn't wait to get them, especially since they're BUNDLED. Imagine our dismay when we couldn't even play because the touch-screen gestures aren't configured properly. We hope there are updates soon.
Some say it is only iPhone 6, but IDK. All we do know is the game doesn't work. Impossible to control. What a disappointment.
Used to be our most played game until we upgraded our phone. Time for the developers to update this app. Unplayable due to touch calibration being way off. Get with the program Team 17.
It registers you tapping left of where you actually do which means you constantly run out of time and jump off into the water. Drives us up the wall. It's like they had the intern port the touch over and nobody checked it.
They forgot they still sold this app and haven't updated it in years. Between then and now, the iPhone and iOS has changed and somehow the screen isn't lines up right. The place you tap is off by a quarter inch. And we can't figure out for the life of us how to exit practice mode. Though starting from the original would be a cheap place to start but ended up a waste of money.
Controls do not work, like everyone else says. We wish we had read reviews. It's such a shame to have such a good game be a disappointment.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! Wait for updated reviews saying that the developers a fixed the controls. IF that happens. So disappointed we didn't read the reviews and wasted money. This game was a great game on a large console when we played it last. We bought it in hopes that it would be just as good. It's crap. The controls don't work correctly. Our worms kept shooting themselves and would not move in the direction we pointed. We use an iPhone 6.
So we downloaded the app, everything well and then we bought the golden donkey. It's broken and we can't play it anymore.
