A Glimpse into Worph

Are you a wordsmith? A logophile? Put your skills to the test in this classic game of word morphing, where wee words become deceptively difficult. The concept is simple: morph one word into another by changing one letter at a time. For example:

CAT -> COT -> DOT -> DOG

But many puzzles are not so simple! Worph will repeatedly challenge your repertoire of English vocabulary. How many puzzles can you solve? Can you solve them perfectly?

Worph has:

  • A clean interface and a simple design
  • 15 puzzle packs
  • More than 100 free puzzles
  • Soothing music and sound effects

Worph does not have:

  • Time limits – too stressful!
  • Ads – too annoying!

Uses some short vocabulary in rapid succession. Problem solving thats good for the mind. Free and quick. We love it.

We actually really enjoy this game since it doesnt pressure you to get a perfect score, but it gives you options to try and try again. AND THERE ARE NO ADS!!!! Its peaceful a relaxing unless you get stuck then its annoying, especially since there are no hints, but thats okay. Its still fun and challenging!

We’ve been looking for almost this exact game for years. Rather than write out our own puzzles on paper, this game is already in our hand. It has a beautiful, clean interface. Nothing gets in the way of the puzzle itself. We have only two wishes: 1) Even more puzzle packs to buy 2) A free play mode where we could challenge myself to two words of our choosing Great job!

But if there a way to turn off the music?

But we wish we could see our solution. Categories not necessary- perhaps just a progression from easy to hard words.

Nice clean interface, and we like how the puzzles are a range of difficulty. They’re split up by theme but don’t seem to be in order of how challenging they are. The background music is cute and pleasant sounding but it might be nice to have an option to mute the game sounds in case we want to solve puzzles in silence.

1: As it is a design feature that plagues many such games, once you submit your response, you can no longer see your solution. It is not only that you would want to admire it, but when you solved it with more steps than the minimal, youd want to see your steps to contemplate where you cold make a different step. 2: silly interface problems: some puzzle pack do not get a check mark when they are finished. You are not told when a puzzle pack is completed. Replay does not replay anything, it actually means try again 3: some perfectly good words are not accepted such as Greek.
