Many times Im in full agreement with lynxmynx, but not on this one. This was a fantastic game! Maybe we downloaded and played after the bugs and glitches were repaired . The game ran smoothly without any glitches. The graphics were superb and the puzzles were a mix of difficulties. We were pleased to find the map worked perfectly! We love when the collectibles and morphing objects are marked on the map. The custom mode worked great, however in this game we could not turn off black bar hints . The option simply didnt exist. What lynx didnt enjoy about the knife and pick axe, we loved! It seems most HOA Games require you to find a blade and use it then find one again and again and again, this game let you find a knife and keep it the whole game. The bonus game was long and had a lot of puzzles. Thanks again for a good game!
This is definitely one of the best games we have ever played. Umpteen puzzles and the length is worth the $$$! We prefer paying for a game up front,anyway. Keep them coming! If you build it,I will buy.
This developer is one who puts a great deal of thought and effort into producing a spectacular game. Everything is perfect, and there is enough variety for everyone, from mazes to unique hidden objects, to thought provoking puzzles. Please release more like this as a stand-alone payment game. Well deserved 5 stars.
Many new and unique type of mini games. Voice acting was stellar!
The bonus chapter is frozen. Wont let us take anything or move around. We have closed it out, shut it down, and still can play. The game was flawless and so fun. Lots of brain power and some help from the guide got us through the many, many puzzles. Loved it, just wish we could play the bonus chapter.
We liked the basic gameplay, but there were some things that bothered us. We had some extremely poor touchscreen sensitivity issues at times, especially in the HO scenes. The inventory usage was monotonous, with the constant use of a knife and pickaxe. The mini-games were very dull, because they were basically all rotational. The storyline did not excite us. We did however enjoy the 3D cut-scenes and beautiful graphics. We think we are tired of this fantasy sub-genre. Five BN, please give us another full collectors edition in the New York Mysteries series. We are ready for a crime sub-genre. It will do very well for you. This population of gamers will purchase any full games you release! Our rating will stand at 4 stars. Happy New Year, everyone!
This is our first time submitting a review. We found the coloring of this game to be very dark and therefore finding items was made more difficult also the size of items could have been bigger. We play games to relax and enjoy down time, we did not enjoy this comfort playing this game. We will continue to look forward to your release of new games.
