Zen is a wonderful game to play because it makes you think.
Love the game. We keep coming back to it. The only thing that makes us leave. The small ads at the bottom of the game screen. They all of a sudden start playing music during the game. We know you need ads, its okay. But not during game play, please.
Game is fun but they claim its ad free and its not.
We absolutely love this game but what is up with all the made up words with no definitions?? Not to mention all the ads.
We made it to game 326, then gave up. We enjoyed the game, but commercials come too often, and they got longer and longer. We understand the need for commercials, but this game has twice as many as any other game we play. Its just no longer fun. So, we had to delete it. Sigh.
Too many ads freeze up and you have to close the app and restart it.
Loved the challenge the game will become after a few more rounds did not want to hear it (do not want to figure it out we always finally figured out it is alphabetical order , hmmm but it makes it too easy then and takes out the challenge because we know it will be we. Order and we guess the wi d !!!! Take it out of alphabetic tical order so people have THE CHANCE OF A BETTER CHALLENGE!!!!! Take a survey of gamers and see if RANDOM WORD ORDER IS BETTER THAN ALPHABETICAL ORDER.
We love this game, it is soooooo much fun and relaxing as well it does work if you play thirty minutes a day it will help you with your sleep we are being honest sometimes we are picky about games but this one is FIVE STAR.
Helps us relax as we slow down to let our minds use what we already know and words we only have some familiarity with. This helps the generator in our brain come to life.
Ive only been playing for about 30 minutes and so far we like it a lot.
We Like Playing Zen Word-Relax Puzzle Game.
We like this game but the incessant ads are a huge irritant. The ads run after every single game. Note to advertisers: if your spot is longer than 15 seconds, we will not buy your product.
We have chronic illness and am at a drs or healthcare facility a few times a week, and this game helps us to relax and pass time without getting our nervous system riled up. The design is pleasant, relaxing, and not overly stimulating. The game strikes a balance of not being too complicated and still engaging. For us, it was worth paying for it to be ad-free. We like the daily challenges and competitive element, if you choose to participate. We do wish there were more opportunities to earn coins and that greater quantities were awarded. Or there more ways to earn hints, boosts, etc. It would also be cool if the user could opt-in/check some metrics on their performance/game usage. Something like that.
Please stop the 5 minute commercials. We left another game we loved because of this.
Good game but after each game an ad pops up. We know ads keep the game free but to many ads and we stop playing.
Stop the stupid banners across the play area. Nobody cares what other players are doing or how many are doing levels.
3 stars because after EVERY level, there is an ad at least 30 seconds long. The game itself is fun, but we are deleting it because the amount of ads they have is ridiculous. Its very obvious they want to push you to pay for the ad-less version.

Thought the app was pretty cool played about 20 games straight and then a bunch of ads started coming in after every single game and doesnt let you skip it just asks you to go to the store very annoying so we deleted the app.
We cant play even one game and an add pops up. Not just any add. This add never stops. We have to back out of the game and start over. This is an add for solitaire. We end up just shutting it down because of the adds that are in over abundance. Hate this.

A couple of weeks ago, we wouldve rated this game 5 stars. We paid weekly for no ads because it was our favorite way to unwind in the evenings. However, since the new updates, its become so distracting, we cant even play anymore. The banners across the screen telling you how fast someone beat that level or what level someone made it to – right in the middle of your game. A banner every single time you get a word is way too much. When youre doing a timed bonus game and the bonus word pop up pops up (with the ad button perfectly placed to accidentally click on it). Its no longer a nice relaxing game – its so distracting and almost overstimulating. Im so sad.
We have been playing this game for a long time, years. After the latest changes, we may be deleting it. Its extremely frustrating trying to play with good job, great, awesome after every word. Or a window that now opens in the middle of a round for bonus words, REPEATEDLY. Every time it comes up which may be 10 times around or even 2 words in a row during round, we cant play. The ego boosting stuff has seriously gotten in the way of gameplay.
Love this game. The new banners every time you make a new word have ruined it for us. Would love to come back & make this a 5 star review when theyre gone.
When does this game become challenging? We have been playing daily for weeks and its still boring.
It would be a great relaxing game if there werent so many ads and pop-ups, PLUS you have to PAY PER WEEK to get rid of them. Fun game but not worth it.
We downloaded this game because it continually advertised that it has no ads. Imagine our surprise when we play the game for a while and begin having ads between every level that we complete. We dont mind games with optional ads. We do mind games that make you watch ads and click through them between every level, especially when they advertise no ads. Its a fun game thats very engaging, but if you hate ads that you have to interact with to get out of them this is not the game for you.
We love this game and have played it for a while. Within the past couple of days, we do not receive a hint (light bulb) once Ive found 10 bonus words. Is it new or the game? Without this change, 5 would have been our choice.
Like the game but it lies and says there are no ads, and then it has ads, fix the advertisements so it doesnt tell you that it has no ads.
They tend to make up word when you have finished a lot of the game, starting at level 800+. Normal people should be able to play and get a challenge but for some at 800+ level they tend to make up words to confuse people.
We really like the game but cant play after certain hours because we keep getting a very offensive ad coming up that we dont want to see.
Loved this game but something has changed and dont get the leaderboard showing and doesnt have the same claim prizes. Like the old way.
We really like word games and this one is great. It would be a 5 star rating except for the amount and length of ads. An ad after every level, many of them excessively long. Ive never seen ad that was 300 seconds long any where else. Even when you try to X out of them, it takes 3 or 4 tries before the ad is gone. Lately the ads have gotten more numerous and longer.
One thing that is disappointing is that if there's a technical glitch and you have to delete the game and start again, it starts you from the very beginning. We were in a very high level and we had to start from the beginning. The other thing we don't like is that it doesn't give you a hint of a first letter After you get 10 right like it did before. We hope they would change that back to the way it used to be.
The ads for this app say no annoying ads. But thats not true! And its not very challenging.
The game is OK but with all of the ads coming after every just few screens, you really dont have time to get into the game before youre forced to watch yet another ad for yet another product that youve seen 100,000 times already. Its a shame. This could be a great game and a game changer for us. Deleting it.
We wavered between 3 and 4 stars because there is an annoying ad between EVERY puzzle. Its exhausting. The puzzles themselves are very good and we would give it 5 stars if the ads were far fewer.
This app is bombarding you with ads and then you cant mute the volume. Total mess. Boooo.
This WAS our favorite app to relax! Unfortunately, now they have added so much banners that pop up while you are trying to play. It is not relaxing. After each word you find, a big bright banner pops up in the middle of the screen as motivation. It is incredibly annoying and distracting. They also have banners that steadily move across the screen, telling you about other players success. All this while you are trying to relax and just find words. The relaxing part of this game is gone. If you have ADHD, you will hate this game. If they got rid of the constant pop ups and banners that interrupt your game, it would be a great game again. At least provide the option to turn them off. Until then, Im deleting this and finding something relaxing.
Ive played this game for quite a long time. Ive always enjoyed it. The ads play and then keep playing. But now in the middle of timed rounds among other things this banner is going across blocking the screen to where you cant play. We dont care there are 27 online from other countries. We dont care what their scores are. This banner going across totally disrupts the game. Why do you think this is a good idea.
Please stop the ticker tape that goes across the screen-its annoying, distracting and we dont care how many others are playing (what prompted you to start that?).

Your advertisement says no annoying ads. So why are there ads being played in your game site. Just curious.
Overall, we love this game and play daily. Ive become frustrated with the new Daily Consecutive Wins rewards that dont load. These rewards are fun incentives to keep playing and get a boost of dopamine when the rewards light up and fly into the bank. The rewards are not registering after they light up and fly away. Im still playing and moving through the levels, but our points, light bulbs, and little rockets arent loading anymore. The dopamine is dropping. We hope this can be resolved. We really do love this game.

They just made the gameplay of word guesses ignorant of alphabetical order. We think its time to walk away from this app. Update: we havent walked away yet, but there continues to be so many stupid updates. Now there are banners floating across the puzzle of other user achievements. Who cares? And there are so many pointless popups! Oh you guessed a word we werent looking for? Thats a popup. Very dumb.
