A Glimpse into ZeroVector

ZeroVector is an endless retro arcade vertical shoot ‘em up! Blast your way through endless waves of enemy ships seeing how long you can survive and what high score you can achieve. There are four different bosses to encounter, each with their own firing patterns and strategies to beat.

Along the way you pick up and use various items like shields, EMP, bomb, and weapon upgrades. Items like shields and EMP can stack so getting two in succession gives the extra powerful deflector and EMP extend.

You have a special REVERSAL ability that charges every 20 seconds. Once charged you tap with a second finger onto the screen (or double tap) and all enemy bullets flip around into seeking missiles helping you escape impossible odds and get epic clears.

A multiplayer Conquest mode arrives with the 0.2 update and lets you compete against other players in three factions (red, blue, and purple) to capture and control hexagonal sectors on a global map. Achieve the high score on a sector to capture it for your faction and work together to take control of the map. Scores decay over time and sectors can be replayed to defend them and capturing surrounding sectors helps protect them. It’s an all new innovative multidimensional leaderboard system!

What’s New in the Latest Update?

Didnt know of the existence of this game until today, So we played arcade, Loved it, Bought him a taco at the store (To support the dev) and its definetly one of our favorite quick games on the AppStore. Phenomenal job.

10/10 very entertaining, almost addictive. You get some good competition with the opposing teams and it changes up every month so one team never stays overpowered. The only negative thing about this game is the repetitive bosses and waves. Maybe a couple of more bosses and completely randomized waves will make us glued to this game for a long time! Thank you for sticking out from the rest of the apps!

We just got the game and its not like any other mobile game the art style is amazing its challenging we just think it needs customization. Example changing the ship color or the projectile color. We rate it a 95/100.

A great shooter. A vertical scrolling geometry wars. Great sound. No forced adds. Solid game over all.

Dont usually write reviews. Everything about this game is perfect and removing ads is 1$. Not even that many ads anyway.

Please if youre still there add a volume slider for the sounds.

To dev This is a ok playing ok looking shooter however its not balanced well as far as gameplay goes. This shooter needs more power-up weapons , extra lives, and add on weapon purchase before starting a new game. We purchased 10 tacos and thought we were purchasing upgrades. This game feels incomplete. We are a shooter fan going way back to Thunder Force series, Axlay, Musha, Space MegaForce.. Etc. This has great potential but definitely needs more work and effort put into it. If you come out with frequent updates we will support you for your work , but as of now we have no more interest in playing this game till next decent update. Check out Phoenix (One of the BEST we’ve seen and played)

Every run is exactly the same. Theres no permanent upgrades, no shop, no other ships, etc. Every run is the same and you get same items every time until you die. Conquest is insanely dumb and nearly impossible to do anything. Just seems like nothing but a bunch of hackers.

This game is great. The community is great, the gameplay is great. Really good to play while listening to music and just chilling.

We personally think that the game is the best on the app store but the only thing is that every time that we have came back to the game it is so much fun but it always feels like its missing something and we think that you should make event missions that happen once every week or so that give you special ships and maybe also add a leveling system and when you reach a certain level you unlock a new color for the ship or maybe even a new area with new enemy designs we think this would add a lot more to this almost perfect game and would make it something worth coming to every single day.

How is this not Editors Choice? The gameplay is great, addicting, and the developer is always taking community input and using it to make the game even better. We even made a review suggesting some features, and in one day we were responded to. Now, the features are implemented, and we can very safely assume that more will be on the way, with the communitys suggestions being the top priority. We think we might buy the developer a taco, and you should too.

The new update makes it so good no game can compete! GO RED TEAM! One thing though: Conquest should not be high score based. Being a player that usually doesnt make it to 30, now that 32 is the lowest, we cant help our team in conquest and blue is winning. Failed attempts should weaken the hex, or do something beneficial. This way, bad players can help the team, and every fuel that you have is used towards a goal. (Also make fuel regen faster, but thats less of a big deal.)

Great game we’ve spent close to 10 hours playing so far. Devs can you add some visible indicator to show reversal ready? Thanks.

Gameplay is focused but pretty polished and fun. It doesnt try to be something its not, its a 2D scrolling space shooter with 3 lives and no continues with a high score objective. Its also really refreshing to see a free-to-play not punish us with adds at a frequency that make us want to delete the app. Would be fun to see more game modes like adding continues, maybe more power ups like option satellites. Possibly in in-game marketplace for upgrades and if you wanna go crazy blackpwn local wifi coop.
