This game is really good even if the levels are hard and crescent moon can you please add bosses to the map maker.
Guys help we cant get anywhere past the ice world. We have the spyglass but when we go to the desert it just crashes. We assume this is where Im supposed to go but we really have no idea. Please help. We love this game so much. We really want to finish it. If this is a bug please fix it.
No option to disable sounds and the game doesnt honor the mute switch.
You cant mute the super annoying sound effects. This prevents one from listening to other media while playing the game.
This game is so dang addictive, it has many unique obstacles, bossfights and even a frckin toad! What else could you ask for.
Ive only played 14 levels but this game in already amazing!! We love the music and how challenging it is. This game is definitely worth the money And we cant wait to play more of it! <3.
Weve been waiting almost a month for the fix now. For potential buyers, please do not purchase this app until you see a bug fix for 14-5 (Slime Boss level). You cannot advance the game past this point until the bug is fixed. We hope the game hasnt been abandoned? The sad thing is, the game is spectacular. A ball-in-the-labyrinth type puzzler meets Dark Souls. We hope we see patches soon.
Music is amazing! Love them themes, try out tomb toad and you will not be disappointed.
This is the perfect puzzle game for mobile devices. The gameplay has so much depth especially with the difficult coins in each level. Such original gameplay, and we LOVE the level editor to make our own levels. So much polish, love the world that looks like a game boy game.
Im having a ton of fun with this game so far. The design space is very wide! We cant wait to play lord and learn more about this world so we can contribute too with the map builder.
The physics is quite good and the puzzles are addictively challenging.
We really enjoy this game, it is pretty tough and there is a slight learning curve with the controls when the difficulty starts to ramp up but overall we love the feel and style of the game worth the $. We do wish there was an easy place within the game to post user created levels because we love making them but want to try out other peoples creations. So that would be a really nice added feature.
Please do it Add an option to turn off game sound. Other than that great game that looks polished and is pretty challenging actually to get the three coins.
The perfect game to bend your mind no matter how much time you have to play. Tomb Toad takes the tight control and rewarding difficulty of a souls-like and mixes it with a Super Mario 3-like world and a gravity based puzzler. It may sound like an odd combination but the gameplay fits perfectly alongside its charming lo-fi graphics, fantastic pixel animations, catchy chip-tune soundtrack, and clever sense of humor. Each stage has a unique look and feel where the introduction of new dungeon denizens changes the mechanics and style of gameplay keeping it feeling fresh. The boss fights are equally unique and fit the overall theme of each stage well. It also gives you the freedom to explore the tombs and the overworld at your own pace with near constant auto saves and a non-linear progression. The level editor is intuitive to use and fully realized. The copy/paste mechanism for sharing your creations makes it simple to send them directly to other players or to post on Twitter.
Tomb Toad is a highly addictive and inventive mobile game that will provide hours worth of pixelated dungeon fun. A throwback to retro gaming with unique mechanics, challenging gameplay, and a little bit of puzzle DNA thrown in. Its well worth the purchase price for the amount of levels you get to work your way through. The style, soundtrack, and overall theme takes us right back to getting our first NES circa 1987.
Very pretty and fun to play. There are lots of wonderful old school adventure game influences but its very unique at the same time. Great chip tunes and smooth physics, and very satisfying pixel art to boot. We highly recommend buying this one. We first wrote that the game was too difficult and suggested mid level checkpoints or an easy mode, but after more playtime Ive become quite fond of the difficulty. Solving stages that get us stuck for a long time is ever-satisfying. Just keep trying.
Im very very glad we found this indie gem off reddit, Im having a lot of fun playing through it.
Like the game but it does not save when you quit. This is unacceptable for a mobile game. Also needs a sensitivity slider. It can be difficult to turn quickly enough to get coins in the middle of a map.
