Good approximation of the Spades card game. We find it much more satisfying to play than Microsoft Spades.
We used to play this game when we were little on our desktop computer when we had brain cancer at 8 years old and to find it now 20 years later it made us sooo happy. We absolutely love the game.

Ive tried a few other Spade games and the IAs were so bad at playing you could not really enjoy the game. With Hardwood the IAs make smart plays like an experienced real player would. The graphics and play mechanics are first rate as well. If you want a spades game this is it.

We ha be been playing Silver Creek Card Games for many, many years now and have found them to be challenging and educational. We have gotten to know their games and always look forward to playing them.
Its highly customizable, the IAPs arent mandatory to have a blast playing, but when you do want to spend a little, theyre affordable and provide fun perks! Great stats, multi-player, offline mode, just about anything… We definitely recommend.

One of if not the best spades games around.
Been playing their Euchre (which is our fav) hearts and spades for years. Wish the multiplayer was like it was b4. Now it costs to play a rated game and theirs not many people playing the regular games. We used to have a tourney room and host games several years ago. The bots could use some work in the programming in the single games. Some of them do some stupid things humans wouldnt do. But in general we like their layout and the simple way it is to change rules and types. The player avatars also need an update, they are the same now as they were years ago. If your gonna add charges, you better keep upgrading the game itself. Hope you read this HARDWOOD DEVS.

We have been playing hardwood spades for over 10 years. It is by far the best app for live spades game u could ask for! Try it.
Really we've always enjoyed this app, but the latest version is of high enough quality that we went out of our way to write a review (maybe our 3rd app review ever?). In particular, it really seems they've upgraded the AI- computer players seem much less conservative with bidding, and at least have some sense of the signals that certain cards/plays provide. Plus, Spades is just a great game.
Been playing spades on HW for years. Sometimes we feel the dealer favors a particular color for a day or two, but what can you do, right. We would suggest to HW creating many more Avatars. But all in all we love gaming on HW.

Works fine on PC and we pad. Whatever you did for the we phone 6s please fix. Bid and score box are so big you can't see the cards. Just recently happened because it was working fine last week. Please correct.

The software tends to be a hold school PC. But we play here because it is a healthy environment no profanity, the players seem to be more mature and friendly.
The font is too big so you can barely see your bid or what to bid. Please reconfigure. Also the score and previous cards plays boxed are also way too big. Thank you.
