Ok so love the game but is Akron like Raiden shogun cuz we think they look the same we mean look at it its like their siblings and OMG pls bring luck to our brother he is one of our friends but it also takes a lot of room.
We literally cant play this anymore because the ongoing updates and our phone cant take all of it. We absolutely LOVE THIS GAME and im HEARTBROKEN. We legit cant do anything. Im so sad rn and we have to delete it. Genuinely crying dude.

When 4.0 was delayed 20 days we imagined that everything was delayed exactly 20 days, but drip marketing still hasnt come, we deeply love this game, but without knowing whos going to be on banner in 4.0, we dont know if we should pull dahlia or not. In a Gacha game, its important to know whos next, expecially with an unreasonably dry patch like 3.8 (cmon there can be more that like 2 events), and after thinking that drip marketing would be delayed by 20 days (its been 20 days) Im dissatisfied, and am discouraged from continuing to play this game. 3.8, we really like the story, going back to penecony was great, but its really lacking things to do, expecially after a great patch like 3.7, events in this game are boring and are very few per patch, if we could get more events, that would be great, also can we get more skins please. We love skins, and pets, absolutely any customization, like the phone case, or text, or anything, we love quality of life things.
We have been playing this game for a very long time. In fact, we have already 'finished' it twice. Though, there is the fact that sometimes, battles can be a bit too hard. Our feelings about having to wait for the main story line to be extended are mixed. It is annoying to have to wait for that to happen, but we kind of enjoy the suspensefulness.All in all, we really like this game.
We love this game so much. The Amphoreus update made us cry so much since it was so sad to know they were all stuck in a loop. Anyway we love the fact everyone has different appearances like Dan Heng and March 7th plus everyone else! We wanted to know if Stelle/Caleus could have different outfits to go with their paths like Preservation could be red, Remembrance could be blue or godlike, and Harmony could be gold. Our original outfit fits both destruction and Harmony so your pick if you want to change too! Really love your games since we have both ZZZ and Star Rails! Keep it up.
We love this game its so fun and we can feel good when playing it.
We have been playing since almost launch date and we love it. The only problem is that the story has gone kind of downhill for us. We love this game and will continue to support it but Honkai, please make the story more like how it was in 1.0-1.6.
Love this game!!! Started playing for Boothill, the story is a masterpiece, and the characters are so well written, but you literally NEED all of the new characters and their teams in order to clear any endgame content, its absurd.
We love how funny the devs are with this game. So many other Gacha games are all serious, but not this one which makes it amazing for more laid-back players like ourselves. The only thing about a limited, turn-based combat style is that it can be pretty reliant on the meta (new characters) for big damage. So yeah, powercreep is obvious in this game. But the humor, pretty landscapes, characters, and well written stories make it worth it. The events are usually super silly and fun, and you can still clear a lot of content and earn rewards without being on top of the meta (currently, at least). Again, its not that serious which is great.
We absolutely love hsr, we recommend it to everyone we can! The story is amazing, gameplay is so fun, the animation is so well done and you can tell that the team that works on this game put a lot of effort and passion into it. The rewards are so plentiful too!! Sure the game is easier in a sense if you pay for extra things, but in our opinion they give out those things a lot and reward consistent players. You wont regret playing, this game deserves more hype :p.
Been playing for years now, and we never get tired of the story! Sometimes we take breaks between new releases, but we never fail to find ourselves coming back to it. 10/10 story and the game mechanics and events are fun too.
We have been playing HSR since we wanna say the first The Herta Rerun and we have played through all of this games content; we cant wait to see where the stars takes us during 4.0 whenever that eventually comes out.
If you dont have a lot of storage, we wouldnt recommend hsr, but this is a very good rpg game! It has lots of characters, and it even has a skip button! We really enjoy playing it.
We personally think its much better than genshin impact and its more for casual players and you can just sit down and play it wherever.
It has phainon so its automatically good.
We love this game, if only we have started sooner. We had missed a lot of good characters like Black Swan and Adventurine. We only wish that they would just rerun characters so all the newer players have at least a chance to get them. Also we are begging that you please rerun Acheron. We have spent over 70 pulls on her lightcone and didnt get a five star lightcone. Other than that its overall a fun and entertaining game when you have nothing to do.
Okay the thing is we absolutely love this game! Its so fun! But hoyo is basically forcing you to spend money on the game. Because everything is super hard without light cones/new character. Also if you are reading this hoyo PLEASE ADD NEW 4 STAR CHARACTERS IM BEGGING YOU.
The game is really good and fantastic. Ive been playing since 1.3 and have been obsessed with the game. Its been hard for us to quit. The only issue we have is the lack of 4 stars, and the older 5 stars not getting reruns. We know they stopped making 4 stars, but its kinda sad. They are also running out of games because The Dahlia is the same name as Dahlia in their other game, Genshin. They also added The Herta, which is only adding the word the to Herta. They also keep making 5 star versions of starter 4 stars. We have like 3 different 5 star versions of Dan Heng, and its kinda ridiculous. Dont get us wrong, we love them all, and our first 5 star was Dan Heng IB, but it gets to a point. Other than that, the game, quality, and character designs are perfect. Im also so glad they added a skip button because we have like 8 alts we play, and we dont want to suffer through the main story quest like a thousand times, so we really appreciate it.
This is an amazing game with great world building, lore, and combat! Not sure if we would recommend new people to play unless they are good at committing to a game. It takes a lot of storage so we had to delete many games to keep playing. Ive been playing from the release and its got us hooked! We finished the 3.8 storyline the day it released and got the dahlia! A little disappointed there wasnt anything else new to the game, so we guess ill be grinding to max out our characters in the meantime. Overall a good game! Just a lot of commitment and storage lol.
To anyone whos reading this we would like to thank you for taking the time to read this. As we were saying, Honkai star rail is a very, very good game. Good graphics, good sound, good voice actors, and a good story. Theres just one major problem. As someone who uses an older device since we do not have a PC or any other device we struggle A LOT to play it. Yes we understand its a very big app with a lot of storage but we personally hate having to reset our device and close the tab constantly after every new update just for it to work. Our ping goes up to 999 whenever Im doing something. It would either crash or just freeze the screen. Now personally we love this game more than any other game but its hard to love it so much when you can barely play it. Im just leaving this review to let you guys know that there is a TON of laggy stuff and bugs, especially if you play on an older device like us. We understand they only have about 40 days to do test runs and to make up the whole update but we really really wish they could focus a tiny bit more on older devices and consider them. Either way great game, you should definitely play. Thank you for reading.
We love HSR, but there are still some things that could be improved in the game. Where are the four stars, Hoyo T0T.
The game play is challenging and engaging, and so are the events, Its just Ill never be able to keep up with the hours of story released each patch.
As a long time player for this game we have to say that if you are not constantly pulling for the newest character you will struggle with content in this game, other than that, the story was greay.
Its the perfect mobile game, using turn based combat but overtime it has been losing its spark. For a while HSR was ahead of other Hoyo games with innovating content, events and buffs but now everything feels so meh. Wonderful character and designs yet so many versions in and it does not use the space odyssey theme for their character designs at all.
The power creep and lack of male playable characters is slowly killing our enjoyment.
Im on luofo arc and we have to fight to bosses in a row and theres no checkpoints and its driving us crazy that we cant just switch our team for the second one when it has different weaknesses pls just add checkpoints Im considering quitting.
This game is good and pretty f2p friendly but the pace of the power creep in this game is too fast. Recently the Welt voice VA has been let go and we dont know how Im going to get used to a new voice since Ive been listening to him since 1.0 with his old VA. This kinda ruins our immersion with the game, they have also done this to other characters.
We love the game, character designs are cool, gameplay and story are cool. However, how am we supposed to feel immersed in this universe when English VAs are constantly being changed first Argenti, then THE TRAILBLAZER?! And now Welt??? Whats the point.
We cant really get into it. Its so complicated and difficult to make your characters strong. And the grind is a slooooog.
Our dad put in his Emil but we never got a message and we check the spam folder and nothing appeared.
We deleted genshin cuz Ive gotten bored with its long boring lore. But in hsr, the lore is more engaging and fun. It also has a skip dialogue button, which we find useful to fasten gameplay. The characters are interesting and im comfortable with the male to female ratio. Hsr is a turn-based game, we thought we wouldnt enjoy this one. However, we do find the combat to be more relaxed! Our complaints are: The Eng Va for dr ratio is discriminating people, please remove him. Secondly, its hard to farm and get the characters you want. We play mostly for the lore, but itd be far more fun to get the characters you want and be easier to fight enemies. Example, is when the anaxa banner. We use a LOT of jades (im f2p) but still couldnt get him. Im very upset, hopefully, hell come again. Third, is the storage. As im typing this, the newest upade, 3.7, cant handle our iPad with 64 gb! Seriously? Now hsr needs more space than genshin! Because of this, im unable to play any further. This is very upseting, as we find hsr to be quite enjoyable. Suggestions: in quest, please give characters more expressions when talking, reacting, and with more movement. Stop giving us those moments when youre just telling the characters actions, emotions, and things happening. Also, give us more diversity in characters. The only characters other than white, are Arlan and archer. Hsr is set in space traveling, so shouldnt there be more extinct characters? Like Aliens or robots. Itll really make the game feel more interesting! With all that said, here is what we think about the planets so far: Javrio-6 is mid. Wasnt as much exciting as the others, plus the male to female ratio are bad in that planet. Loufo is okay, we like that we get more experience with kakfa and blade. The story in that is good too. Penacony was GREAT! The story is longer, but more interesting! We LOVED that there were lots of good male characters, and liked that there were more diverse characters, even if there were npcs. Its a start! Now the lastest, is ampo, which we find good so far. The story interesting and the plant is giving off Ancient Greek vibes which we loved. Male to female ratio is fine too. Thank you to the people to read all of this! Hopefully, hoyo will see this. We hope you find this useful! AND PLEASE BRING BACK WTELS OLD ENG VA.
Im having fun now but oh our goodness the amount of storage this game takes is absurd. It should NOT be taking 1/3 of our entire storage now. And yes, have enabled the auto delete past missions. Anywho this game looks amazing and if you want to give it a try, go ahead.
See you tomorrow, amphoreus! The story has been great! Not wholesome at all though, as we cried doing the quests 3.2 – 3.7. (we joined 2.5 and quitted 2.6.) Hope Edo Star will great AFTER the 8 week wait.
This is a gacha game so they'll pull all the tricks to get you to spend. With that said, if you ignore the power creep, settle for less than optimal end game clears & just enjoy playing story, events, and building characters this is a great casual game. We recommend MetalFX and leave character and environment quality on high; turn everything else (including resolution) and tweak them individually. We personally added medium resolution, shadows, and lighting. The MetalFX tech will upscale the lower resolutions so you might save heat and battery (don't quote on this).
The story for Amphoreus was so good that we stopped playing Genshin completely.

Ive been playing this game since the day it came out. We absolutely loved it, better than Genshin in our opinion. We eventually lost interest, came back, all back and forth, until Blade came out. When Blade came out, we played all the way until the games recent updates everytime. We love all of the characters, love all of the planets, love the endgame, all of it. Its also pretty easy to get the gacha currency which is amazing! The recent Amphoreous updates really got us into the game. As long as those story quests are, they are amazing! Some cons though, the power creep is crazy! Like, when Penacony was out, Acheron destroyed everything! Now its all Amphoreous! Although Blade got upgrades, all the other characters are still doing too much. They are still all amazing characters though, absolutely love their designs and their stories, we cant wait to get to the next planet and hear and see more! -November 26, 2025.
This game is one of the best turn-based action RPG Ive ever tried. The graphics are insane for a mobile game. Lots of detail in everything, from the scenery to the character design to the attacks. Our only small complaint is that the movement is a bit difficult; you either move too fast for the landscape and you cant really orient yourself well, making it difficult to explore as looking around and moving without messing up the screen is bothersome. Other than that, the game mechanics are very cool and fun to play. Lots of storyline and nice rewards. We would probably recommend this game to others.

We really like it we not sure if its us but the pull rate for us are good.
First off, Im going to come out and say that yes, this is a gacha game. However, there are so many ways for players to earn premium currency just by playing the game that being a gacha game makes total sense. We love this game. Its one of the few games that we can keep up with on a daily basis amidst working full time and 3 children. The events are a decent length of time so we dont have to feel rushed to complete things. The characters, story and style is just amazing. You can feel the passion put into this game as you play. There are also some auto-play mechanics to help with the dailies so if you dont have much time to play you can still do it in the background while making breakfast or whatever without having to stress that you dont have time. We can get all daily stuff done to earn the daily 500 points in 5 minutes. Im not kidding. When we have the time to sit down and play at night we can focus on the story and running around and having fun. For people with lives a game like this is wonderful. We have been playing daily for the last year and will probably continue to play daily until the game dies. Thank you Hoyo for once again making another phenomenal game and for listening to the players. This is our favorite Hoyo game to date followed by ZZZ.
As a long term Genshin player im not new to gacha games but this game broke our expectations the Meta is consistent w phainon and the whole cast still performing well right now all of them are re running and the free stuff IS CRAZY if you join right now theres still a chance to get 1 of the best shielders (Dan heng pt) and blade can be one of the best characters really fun game.
Why did you take out miss Rachaels voice Im mad about that we really dont like the new voice you gave her.
Honkai star rail is a game that we absolutely love as a casual player and day 1 player its amazing. We love the story and how yall never fail to improve it on the next planet. And the cut scenes are gorgeous we really love the character designs. The way the devs have made it easier to build characters is also amazing as thats one of our fav things to do. Our one issue is that boothill needs another rerun so we can get his eidolons.
We started playing about a week in the games release it was amazing dude. We got silver wolf when she first came out loved her. Shes still on our team to this day. Though the biggest problem to us was the storage space, we wasnt able to play it for about 2 whole years because we didnt have anything that had the space. Tho we LOVE IT SO MUCH.
Can you please add back up storage please it keep making our storage full because we want to play on our phone.
Needs to have a romance option for all characters.
