What Makes Pokémon Sleep Stand Out
Collect Pokémon Through Sleeping!
In the world of Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon with the same sleep type as you will gather around as you catch some Zs, so discover all the various different sleep styles that Pokémon can have as you aim to complete your Sleep Style Dex!
What A Day Looks Like in Pokémon Sleep
■ When Night Falls…
It’s time to track your sleep! All you need to do is place your smart device by your pillow (don’t place your device under your pillow or blankets as it may overheat), then call it a night. You can also play using sleep data tracked via your smartwatch.
■ A New Day Dawns
By the time you wake, Pokémon will have gathered in Pokémon Sleep based on your sleep type and how long you slept for. Carry out research on these Pokémon’s sleep styles to complete your Sleep Style Dex!
■ And the Rest of the Day…
Raise Snorlax big and strong! Snorlax will grow larger by receiving Berries from the Pokémon you befriend. The more you raise Snorlax, the greater your odds will be of encountering Pokémon with rare sleep styles!
Rest Your Very Best!
■ Check Your Sleep Report
What kind of sleep did you get last night? Your sleep report contains tidbits like how long you took to fall asleep, how long you spent in different sleep stages, and whether you snored or talked in your sleep.
■ Get Support to try to Sleep Your Best
You can have Pokémon at your side even when you sleep! With features like Pokémon-inspired music to relax you into sleep, plus smart alarms that wake you when you’re in a shallow stage of sleep, Pokémon Sleep may help you to rest your very best.
■ Smartwatch Pairing
By linking with Apple Health, you can use sleep data tracked through certain smartwatches to play Pokémon Sleep.

Community Insight:
We got this game so we could catch even more cute pokemon on our phone. We were in a bad headspace at the time and wasnt sticking to a sleep schedule, but instead of snoozing our alarm, this game actually got us to wake up by catching pokemon and cooking meals for them in the morning. ALL THE POKEMON ARE ALSO REALLY CUTE IN THIS ART STYLE.
We have used a few sleep apps, and the only real gimmick with this one is that you get rewarded with the ability to catch Pokmon upon registering a successful sleep cycle. Thankfully for Nintendo, thats one heck of an incentive for anyone who grew up with Pokmon or thinks the critters are cute. You are basically managing a Snorlax which is a giant bean bag of a Pokmon that is itself a bed with arms and legs, for anyone who isnt familiar. As you check throughout the day, you can feed cooked meals to Snorlax (up to three times a day ideally when youre eating a meal) and play with your team of 5 helpers in order to give Snorlax berries and power boosts (ideally when youre snacking). This increases Snorlaxs drowsy power, which attracts more Pokmon to a Snorlax cuddle pile while youre sleeping. When you wake, you can record the Pokmon drawn to Snorlax during that session and try to befriend one or two with biscuits. Befriending them adds them to your roster of helpers, which you can mix and match for optimization to bolster Snorlax for the next sleep or set as your favorites. What really appeals to us is the support for biphasic sleep. You can register up to two sleep cycles per day, so for anyone like us who gets a few hours at night and a few hours after work, youre in luck! This also gives you twice as many opportunities to encounter and befriend Pokmon. You can catch shinies, which we only found out because our favorite Pokmon stumbled out to say hi on our first successfully registered sleep and ended up being shiny. There is a monetization shop but honestly, its a sleep app encouraging you to gently improve and maintain your sleep. The game itself is secondary in function. If you want to optimize it, you can. If you want to monetize it, you can. There are incenses in order to draw more varied Pokmon, like with Go. Better biscuits to catch more helpers per sleep session. Ways to bolster your Snorlax with dream shards. Things like that. Or, if youd prefer, dont you dont need to spend a dime. We probably wont. In a week, we havent hit a point where (like if Go) youre locked out of participating in half of the app if you dont have huge swaths of free time or disposable income to micromanage it. All in all, its a really cute way to encourage your favorite Pokmon lover to take care of their health, and in tandem with Go its a cute suite of health-oriented Pokmon apps for little reinforcements of good habits.
Amazing game. Gets deeper the more you play and optimize your team. Theres something in it for everyone.
What a concept! We already enjoy getting up early and looking forward to growing our Pokmon sleep world after a few days of using this. It should be paired with Pokmon go to encourage quality sleep and outdoor interactions and travel.
Love the art style, animations and slow pace of this game.
We think that this app definitely helped our sleeping time and how its grown so much.
What a great game its also like healthy because you sleep and sometimes you might take a nap one thing you should change is the sleep music its just so fast and makes it hard to sleep maybe add something like simple campfire or crickets because its hard to sleep with fast repetitive music.
We think its a calming and relaxing game that doubles as an alarm with nice sleep music. We only wish that it was accessible with Pokemon Home to transfer our pokemon to somewhere where Ill use them more. Please, Game Freak.
This is a fun pokemon game and it actually makes you want to sleep, so its helped us sleep more.
Gotta say, the Ads really sold it for us. Theyre so guacdarn adorable! Keep em coming.
Its actually really useful and cute! We thought that it would be just another game but it isnt.
This game is awesome our kid loves it and it really helps him sleep. Highly recommend this app.
They managed to turn a game about catching and battling little creatures into something that actually make us want to sleep.
Player since day 1 here. Absolutely love the game and play it every day. We want to write this to bring up two areas whre improvements can be made. The first is night mode. The game is so bright that in the morning and at night it can irritate our eyes and give us a headache. You would think a solution to this would be turning the brightness down and that helps, but we think a better fix would be adding a darker night mode to lessen the eye strain. Second, the game UI is so slow. The game loads seemingly fast but many forced interactions take forever to get through. This is especially true on Mondays, where picking an island and setting up a new team takes upwards of 30-45 minutes if your just trying to get set up. Other than those cons this game is perfect.
This game is so addictive and helps us sleep in many ways.
We went to bed but our phone fell off our bed which made it not track 3 hours of our sleep, other than that, we love the app. Also, one time, we went to feed our snorlax, but our game said it was offline and restarted and didn't let us give snorlax dinner.
There's probably a better method of getting this out and known, but our current biggest issue with the app is how difficult it is to add sleep data manually. First off, the app immediately halts you from confirming a time if it doesn't follow a certain rule, despite the fact you haven't set up the second date yet. This forces us to slowly adjust both times to the right one without making it 12 hours longer or too short, despite thats not what we're aiming to submit. This problem can be fixed if the app doesn't decline a set date, but instead declines it if you press submit instead and it reads that the data you shared goes against a certain limit. Second issue thats less major is how if you scroll but then press the set button quickly, the date you set doesn't update. This can be fixed if the set button is disabled while the date or time is being scrolled and then enable once its settled. Hope this reaches someone, and thank you for making such a neat and engaging app :p.
So its a pretty cool cute little app but our only concern right now is how laggy it is it is horribly laggy, at least on our device but other than that, its pretty cool.
A cute little game, a little bit time consuming since you have to fill in all this data right after you sleep. Definitely more complicated if you are a night shifter that sleeps in broken sleep/naps. But cute for a normal person heheh only thing we did hate is you cannot use your phone at all while the sleep is on, and it turns down your phone volume so you barely hear your wake alarm, we almost didnt hear it.
There's no dark mode. Seriously, what kind of sleep tracker makes all their menus bright white and blue and doesn't include a dark mode.
First off we have found ourselves keeping better track of our sleep since we started using this app. We work night shift, and the weird schedule makes things harder. But this app helped us get back on track. There are a few things we would change though. (1: the options for sleep music/white noise arent the best. We previously would use the Nintendo music app or another music service to stream soft, quiet music. But the sleep tracker wont let us play outside music while its running. Our suggestion would be at least make the sleep app compatible with Nintendo Music, considering theyre both Nintendo platforms. (2: it seems a bit odd that there doesnt seem to be a dark mode option. If Im about to wind down it would be easier to get to sleep faster if the last thing in our face wasnt blasting white at us. Aside from those two suggestions we think items a very useful and enjoyable app.
Ive been playing this game since the day it came out. Its great, love it, and a very interesting idea for a game. Theres one small thing we wish they added (or at the very least toggle it) is the music loop. Im one of the people who like to have a small white noise while sleeping (usually a small fan), and the lullaby in the game is perfect. The only issue is that it only lasts an hour. If it wasnt for our small fan, Id be waking up every hour turning it back on once it ends. A small update making the lullaby last longer would be extremely helpful for us.
This app is amazing! However we wish we could listen to podcasts or music while we used it.
We like playing g this game, its fun and exciting making recipes , new pokemons and events. But the animation screen(S) that drag for 8 seconds each when doing a sleep research is beyond ridiculous. Also Why cant everything from a sleep report be on one single page , why do we need 4 to tell us the same exact thing from the previous screen in different format ? (Im a underestimating the actual numbers behind each thing we mentioned cause Im utterly annoyed and need to get this out before we forget again).
Our friend told us about this app so we downloaded it but when we pressed start new it told us to read the privacy notice and the terms of use. But when we tapped privacy notice it just kept saying now loading. We waited for an hour but it still was loading.
We just got the game but when we had to agree to policies and terms of use we had it read, when we clicked them it just said it was loading on and on .Its been happening for a while.
HI! So wow, just wow we love this app sooo much. Theres only one thing that bothers us.. Theres not a lot of ice type Pokemon! Not saying its a major problem but ice types have been our fav price since we were only 6 years old. ESPECIALLY FROSTLASS! We really hope that in the future there are more.
The terms of service and privacy policies dont load at all whenever we click on them to start fresh and it doesnt work.
Apps fun but super disappointed our favorite Pokemon arent in it. Not a single regi Pokemon.
We thought this was gonna be just some cute Pokmon Sleep tracker with minimal tasks, but this app is a full-blown mobile game experience with 500 types of currency and XP types requiring you to do 500 task tasks as soon as you wake up. If thats what youre looking the moment you wake up, then this is your game.
This app confuses our dog for us half the time. Im asleep til 7, the app thinks we woke up at 4:30? This is exactly why we would never invest a single penny into this game at all. A dog barking, panting, or whatever its doing while Im sleeping, does not sound like an awake human. This app needs to seriously adjust it.
There really isnt much to do. Very hard to advance in the late game. Hard to ftp.
We started playing this game shortly after release. While it was initially fun, it quickly became not just a chore, but an unsatisfying one. Took quite a while to put our finger on why. Pros: – cute way to help promote sleeping on time – can be played fine for free – surprising amount of detail and content for such a simple game – frequent updates – bug fixes, new content, etc Cons: – gameplay very poorly optimized: loading is slow (not due to the phone), lots of animations that are initially cool, but unskippable eating up a lot of time when you do daily tasks, tons of bugs, game takes a lot of data. – unsatisfying: if you are anything but the most casual gamer, the game is not just unsatisfying, but frustrating. The amount of luck needed to get a Pokmon with good qualities is about the same as any Pokmon game, but you encounter 1 or 2 a week. You cant invest in non useful Pokmon because it takes a year to get enough resources to max an uncommon Pokmon out (note the levels are capped at 65 right now, so it will take ever longer to max in the future). -lack of balance: the usefulness of a good Pokmon and a bad one isnt even close. On the order of 6x more useful for one over the other. Your favorite Pokmon sucks? Too bad, theres no way to make it remotely useable -rng feels bad: every game with rng, you have moments when youre lucky and feel great, and moments youre unlucky and dont. You dont feel good with most lucky moments, and only feel bad with the unlucky here. Additionally, getting truly lucky needs lottery levels of luck. The rare occasion you get a shiny Pokmon is usually ruined by the fact that its abilities are terrible, with no way to change it. The rare chance you get a legendary is ruined by the same thing. You finally get something usable and invest in it, only to get something better later and will have to take a year to build that instead. The game is so casual it doesnt actually even feel good to do well. Unless youre extremely casual, or dont mind dropping tons of money, Id recommend skipping this. There are better sleep apps, and better Pokmon games.
This game was displayed as an AR game where pokemon can crawl all over you an be in your real world. But no! It's a sleep tracker.
Look the game looks fun but putting in your username takes forever. We mean we didnt even put our username in yet. It just takes forever. Im just saying at least think of like three usernames before you get to that part. Though Im not hating on Pokemon we love Pokemon Im just warning you cause its making us rage.
For all ages if you cant sleep or your kid, click the sleep button and click the play button and then it makes a lullaby.
Fun rewarding sleeping game for Pokmon. Has some great shiny rates.
This is just a suggestion. What if you could send Pokmon from Pokmon league to other games in the main story like Scarlet and Violet? It seems perfectly doable.
This is not really a review because well… We haven't really been able to play the game. We do want to play but when we start the game we go to the terms and stuff to continue but it just says loading. We don't know if its something with our phone or a bug.
It helped us to sleep and the Pokmon part was nice relaxing.
Our daughter loves Pikachu singing her good night with our Pokmon ball plus.
This game has us actively planning sleep and has helped with our restlessness. AND its Pokmon! Give it a try.
We used to track our sleep with just our watch but this is a way more fun way to do it!!! And its Pokmon!!!! If you track your sleep, or even if you just like catching Pokmon this app is amazing for both reasons.
Got the plus plus to help our Go account. Almost immediately stopped paying Go, and have exclusively played Pokemon Sleep for over two years. Its a wonderful strategy game, befriending and raising Pokemon with skills that strengthen your Snorlax. The music is 10/10. Each island, holiday, and special events have their own style of music. The overall experience is very nostalgic but challenging in a completely new way. Great job Pokemon Sleep Team.
Ive been a fan of Pokmon since we were a kid. Probably not a good idea to let some company know about the way we sleep while using nostalgia to keep us using it. Well, its fun. You get to research sleeping Pokmon, befriend them, raise them, collect berries to gain experience while also collecting ingredients to cook meals and more. This is the only sleep app we use and its the only one Ill ever use because no other app makes tracking your sleep more interactive than this. We really wish this company will take note of this and perhaps give us future Pokmon games with promise than painful realizations that the games are no longer as engaging and cutting edge as they used to be. If Pokmon has to be a mobile series moving forward, we would welcome it because they clearly have put more effort into this app than they did for the plot of Sword/Shield and the graphics and gameplay issues with Scarlet/Violet. That isnt an insult. It is a compliment because Id rather spend money on this than buy Pokmon Legends: Z-A.
Cute! Best! We love these Pokmon in this app.
Ive started playing this game since the beginning. We have a couple of friends that still play and we like that incorporates good sleeping habits, as well as fun integration working with different kinds of Pokmon daily and adjusting our team to fit the weekly changes. We wish some of the interactions for faster, especially in the morning. It feels like it takes a long time to go through feeding and collecting berries and meal times.
We will never stop playing this game. Its the best.
Dont need to spend money and you collect Pokemon over time by sleeping. Really fun way to feel as though you are collecting passively.
Beautiful, slow-paced game that teaches you that its okay to take things slow. Highly recommended.
